The way the clip from Garin mad at Bublik for his underarm serve and the clip in which they are playing doubles are just one after another made it so funny
I think it's because this is the players livelihood. They have money to earn, that allows them to stay on tour and get coaches etc They also want to advance their careers. I think its quite understandable to get frustrated in this situation if your opponent is just being silly. But also, I agree with you for viewing entertainment.
@@rorycbruce I dont find silly the underarm serve, I think it is a legit move for a distracted or too off the line opponent. I can understand that it can be quite frustrating but I dont get why some people get so mad at it
@@unpequenoancap4058 Yeah, should we outlaw the drop shot also? Or the lob? Or when a player shanks a ball off the end of the racket, should that not count? Or when the ball hits the net and rolls over should that not count? There’s nothing wrong with an under arm serve, I don’t get why people don’t love it. How is it any different than hitting a kick serve or a slice?? The whole point is to try to hit a serve that your opponent cannot return.
Garin wasnt mad at bublik playing underarm serve but he said he wasnt ready

I love Bublik. He is an incredible entertainer, incredibly nice and gracious after wins and defeats, and incredibly talented as well. And he really is starting to fight and win matches and tourneys now (Halle). Became a new big fan.

I love underarm serves. They should be used more often. Makes the game more unpredictable and exciting.
I tried them. They arent as easy as they look!
@@buzzfunkYeah, they only really work when the slice moves the ball outside the court and you really have to disguise well when you're playing at high level, so you only have a really short swing to do it with just enough power to barely get it over the net.
My problem is that my overhead serve looks pretty similar to the pros’ underarm serves.
I just love him, this video is a tribute to a personality you can't ignore.

So happy to see Tennis TV recognize Bublik's genius. Along with Nick Kygrios and Tommy Paul, my three favorite tennis players. Honest guys--both Nick and Sasha have said the money is good, so they keep playing. Tommy has gotten a Tennis TV highlight reel too--nothing but talent for these three guys. Sasha's title run last year very special--all three of these guys deserve their own Grand Slam titles and a lot of respect. Take home a nice paycheck for what you do.
Bublik needs to do more hard hitting tanking style like Kyrgios did in 2022. then he´ll be very succesfull, the ability is undoubtly there
