Just installed my Klock Workz 12” yesterday. I took a little ride and the windshield made a big difference. Can’t wait to take it on the Highway. Ride safe my friend. 🙏🏼
The distortion is the biggest complain I've heard and it's a BIG complaint. Like people say "I like the windshield (Windsplitter) but that distortion was too much to handle. Had to remove it).
the H-D one is lightly smoked because the guy removing it from the mold is allowed to smoke lol. the side distortion around the risers is that actual distortion or something to do with camera angle on the KW
@Voo_on_Two sounds like you're about 5'10, if you we're more around the 5'8, do you feel you would still be looking over the windshield? I'm 5'8, and I think the 12-inch would be better for me, but the 13 1/2 seems to be only one that I can find from klock werks at the moment unless I want to go with a sport which I'm not sure I would like over the pro tour.
@@curtisbull1583 That's a tough call. I just went out to the bike and tried to lower my view 2 inches. I think you could get away with the 13.5. I also ruin the Saddlemen Roadsofa and I think that may push me up a tab bit higher than stock.
Hello, you stated numerous times you are 5’10 and a half. 😂. Could you see over the 13.5” windshield? I am 5’8”. Thinking I should go with the shorter one. Thoughts?
I had a previous commenter say that he was 5’8” so I went out and tried to lower myself two or so inches. It was still just fine for me. I am on a Saddlemen road soft seat however. If you feel it’s too much of a chance I would definitely wait till you can get your hands on a 12” shield. I saw several at a ride this past weekend and it looked awesome on the bike!
@@scotta6610 it’s better but not $700 better… I’d like to do a review of the mustang vs sundowner vs Saddlemen … let’s just say I wouldn’t buy it twice. It seems like a lot of other riders love it however. I just think it feels too boxy after a bit and I have 3000 miles on it
I got the harley one and I like it. Distortion isn't that bad. For one, you're not supposed to look through your shield you're supposed to look over it
Thanks for the reply! Glad you like your HD shield! And while I was looking over it, as a former driving instructor, first you’re not supposed to look in just one area, you should have a field of vision, and second, why would I want anything that obstructs my view that’s directly in front of me. Thanks for the comment! I hope is helps people decide which shield is best for them.
I also had all 3 of those windshields. The freedom was awful in my opinion, the fit was awful and it caused some high speed stability issues. The Harley worked best for me, I had no stability issues and it’s kept the wind down pretty well. I hated the distortion with the Harley one though. I’ve been running the klock werks lately just because it looks so good on the bike and works just as well as the Harley shield.
The KlokWerks 12" is by far the best one. Thats said, they have a very strict warranty. If you try it, you buy it. I HIGHLY suggest you try one out at your local dealer demo day. If not and you don't like it, you've got a $275 PAPERWEIGHT in your garage Freedom allows you to test it as long as you dont remove the adhesive off the screen.
So great, no one knows about them?😂😂 Just checked there site The tallest they offer is 10" The acreen has no flare, almost straight up and down. No comparison to KW or FS or even Harley.
Sorry to hear about the freedom shield. I got one on my 2024 RG and had a similar issue with the gaskets. But it's a great windshield.

How tall are you? Another watcher is 5'8" do you think he could get away with a 13.5 or do you think the 12 is the way to go? Thanks for reaching out!
I’m about 6 feet tall. It’s good for me. I’m sure at 5’8 he’ll be fine.
Wish u did Somsong aswell... good review

I would say camera angle. I had it out today and no distortion on that shield.
@@Voo_on_Two thanks
Are you looking over, or though the Klock werks windshield?
So the camera is on my chin. I’m looking over the shield.

@@Voo_on_Two thanks for the great review! I tried the HD shield and the distortion is right in my line of sight, so I am going to try the Klockwerks.
Harley-Davidson did not put a windshield on the 2024 Road Glide it is a decorative piece of plastic at best😂😂😂😂
It's a way to make you buy a windshield.

Clear Shield looks meh… not a fan. Prefer smoked
It was ordered as a light smoked shield, however the HD windshield barely had a tint on it. I Prefer smoked as well.
Best windshield THATS gonna be out there isn’t available yet!
That would be “Windvest”
How do you know? Are you currently running a demo of the Windvest? Thanks for reaching out.

freedom shield suck klockwerks worked for me
and theres nothing worst than spending 250 on freedom to suck
I just couldn't get it to line up. There are other videos out that say the same thing.
@@Voo_on_Two i got to work but wasnt right but it looked just like hd windshield
Knockwerks seems to have nothing of theirs available like the 11” sport dark smoke and all
