I love seeing Adam getting frustrated with Chelsea cause in my mind means that Adams being challenged with this car and he’s gonna progress so much more than with his car and not having someone there every step of the way to coach him. Also love how much smoke these mustangs make.

I think one of Adams most redeeming qualities/skills is that he can get into anything, no matter how different, and just thrash it. Ill miss the S15, ill miss the Pretend Race Team, but I think this will be the best for him to continue to improve his personal skill and get onto a podium
as much pretend they were, They were also as much real. That Team (Pre Drift HQ) was solid. ofc they couldnt do certain things in a certain amount of time because somthing broke 5min before adams qual race, Because they didnt have the budget or 20+ people to help out behind the scenes. They were only trying to help to the best of their ability and i believe they did numerous times. But as entertaining and heart breaking to watch it will be really cool to see what adam can do with more resources!

one thing is for sure. adam now has soooo much more pressure being with rtr. rtr is known for being one of the best so adam really needs to be 100% dialed. respect to adam for taking on this challenge. will definitely improve his driving 10 fold
He's a really competitive/ analytic guy, rookie card is behind him now. Great hopes for what's next!
His driving will greatly improve now that his soul job in FD is to drive and not be the team owner, coordinator, mechanic, etc.
We’ll one things for damn sure the car will be top shelf and work 95% of the time never not enough hp or tq. No excuses of broken car now
Still alot of weight of hes shoulders not having hes own team to think about. Now he can just focus on driving with the help of Vaughn and Chelsea
but he also doesn't have to worry abt managing his own team, so he'll have more time to dial in his driving
Adam, if I may, on these types of practice day, get your guy to film as much as possible so you don't have to stress about it.
I can deal with less commentary on days where you need to focus. This is a crazy opportunity and I'm looking forward to next season from the rtr team.
i can agree with that, keep the go pros in the cars and just have someone outside recording all the driving. no need for commentary when we have these mustangs screaming and all this seat time to enjoy
I hate receiving tough love in the moment but it almost always makes you better in the long run. I love how Chelsea isn’t babying Adam. He’s got a lot to learn And he has a great set of mentors doing it. I just hope the pressure of a professional team doesn’t ruin the love for the sport. Can’t wait for FD2022!
If Adam can learn how to take Chelsea's advice, he will become a really good drifter.
RTR just seems to have their shit together so well. I think theyre definitely gonna provide the experience needed to help adam grow in formula d. I just hope he gets to add some style to the mustang. Livery should help alot hopefully.

@@tturi2 ..why would they? The RTR guys have spent years developing these cars to drive a certain way. Having a good, well understood and proven setup is more important than maintaining the "import guy" image.

I absolutely love how much Adam has grown in 5 years. I remember when he stepped down from BMX and just hoped things worked out with his business. Look at him now!

That was the problem before he would do a bad run and change the car every single time. Set the car up and learn how to drive it that’s why Chelsea is really putting his foot down and basically telling him to stfu and get used to it in a constructive criticism way

the rtr team is so professional and organized i bet it’s hella intimidating for adam but will definitely help him become a better driver.
nahh he is fine, he is already 10x times betters than he was in his S15 just from a single session. He has a car that is setup properly, a full team behind him doing all the hard work for him and on top of that he doesn't have to spend 10s of thousands of dollars on FD anymore. if anything dude probably feels major relief
@@transient442 it's around 150k to drive for RTR a season. At least it was couple of years ago, maybe it has reduced or increased.

I personally love this! Seeing adam progress with what he loves, it’s beautiful. The people around him have the best intentions and it’s lovely to watch. I had given up on adam i knew he wasnt taking fd serious and going from a great year last year to being scared to crash this year and this is exactly what i had in my mind that he needed to do, more seat time in a practice car and actual FD car and its exaclty what is happening here, and to put a cherry on top, he will be taught by chelsea whom is already doing a great job telling him what he needs to do. And this content is fire, alot less talking and more action. Now im so stoked that you learn alot and get so much better to the next level

I started watching him when I watched a fakie tutorial he made in his driveway with just some pieces of wood as a little bank and I thought it was crazy when he went pro for bmx , then thought it was crazier when he became good at drifting , and NOW this man has a full blown buisness , and fd license , and a massive compound.
