Hi Sir, I have a Moto Tv with optical audio output and a Sony Bravia 5.1 Home theatre( bit older). It has only RCA L/R input and One 3.5 mm Audio IN jack. My question: is there a way to hear a 5.1 CH with this setup, using any converter? Or of whether the converter converts to L/R or a 3.5mm jack, the sound will only remain STEREO and the Dobly DTS (which both TV and home theater support) will be lost?

Its just a converter not amplifier,you have to use any audio amplifier with this Converter if your speakers are without power or woofer, you can buy audio amplifier module and speakers with amplifier,its easy ,there are so many videos available on UA-cam that how to use audio amplifier module.amplifire output goes to speakers and input comes from digital audio converter

Optical port is different in squire shape and spdif port ia different as round shape , So if your tv has spdif round shape port then you have buy spdif digital audio cable,

Have you select PCM audio in Tv Digital Optical audio option,All the OTT apps produce 5.1 or HD Sound,this converter can convert PCM sound format (Standard Digital Sound format)

You will get almost same sound quality thru this converter and 3.5 mm audio out,this converter can be use with tv digital audio out only not with 3.5 mm out

After all the connections, I'm getting the audio output in my home theatre on UA-cam but on other apps in the television like Netflix, SonyLiv and all, the sound is not coming😕. Any idea how to resolve this?

No,you can not control external speaker thru tv remote,you have to use external speakers remote

Sir I don't understand sir mara amplifier ma 2rc ha usko ma tv ma kaha laga na ha mana setbox ma lagaya ha to mera sd/hd channels ka speaker chal raha hi sir jo tv u tube ka sound tv spk ma aa ha not in my amplifier speakers sir please guide me

Mere tv mai digital optical output nahi diya hai....3.5mm port bhi nahi hai.....Ab kaise speaker ko Led tv se connect karu ??
