Oh man I gotta tell somebody…so…I fought ornstein and smough with Solaire as per cowboys instructions, but I died. Lost all my humanity. I had no more humanity, so I could not get solaire back, so I ended up having to beat both those bastards myself…oh man. That was the true dark souls experience, and it did feel rewarding AF…

I like how if you kill Smough first then Ornstein gently places his hand on him and retrieves his friend's powers. And if you kill Ornstein first then Smough just squashes his body like a bug with no regard for his friend at all.
The two aren't friends, Ornstein thought ( and right fully so) Smough wants him dead. Big O however respects Smough for being brave enough to even try.
Lore wise smough was actually sort of a maniac who loved his job killing people as ab executioner and wasnt let into gwyns army because of it, he also had cannibalistic tendencies which was more reason why he was turned down by gwyn, instead sent to guard the princess with ornstein ( that of course ignoring how st Aldrich devoured the dark son in ds3) and yes the real ornstein left already to find nameless king (his master) but maybe ornstein leaving caused smough to resent him and that slam of the hammer is just smough letting out his anger. It just shows that smough is not to be trusted

I upgraded the black knight greatsword to +5 before Ornstein and Smough, with Solare it was absolute overkill... I went through 2 estus flasks and Solare had 75% hp left. This speaks more to the power of the sword than my skill. I also died about 30 times on the black knight that gave me that sword back in Undead Burg. I doubt you still read these, but great walkthroughs. I didn't really understand the game mechanics at first but I followed through your first 2 or 3 episodes to get a grip on it, then watch them after getting through a section to make sure I didn't miss any items without spoilers.
For some reason I gave my great scythe a lightning upgrade and as u know one of these guys has lightning resistant armor.. I do a tickle of health to him now and I'm stuck lmao
That’s why I stopped using summons after the bell gargoyle. It makes things too easy cuz even tho the bosses’ health bar gets buffed, the boss ai in this game isn’t really optimized to handle two people at once and it just makes it too easy to kill them. Also the big reason why Ornstein and smough are one of the toughest fights is precisely because you have to take on two at once, summoning solaire for this fight completely takes away this challenge. You described my experience very closely only I didn’t use a summon for this fight. I also went into this fight w/ a +5 BK great sword and it made the fight pretty damn easy. Before I tried using my +10 zweihander and I got really close two times but afterwards I just said fuck it and brought out the +5 BKGS and beat them the first attempt with that weapon.
@@billyray6210 if you’re still stuck, farm the first part of right before facing O and S as you can get 11k souls each time you beat the giant knights and silver knight guarding the entrance to the boss. Do this until you have enough materials to get one of your swords to +10 with the blacksmith, you should have at least some weapon in your inventory that you can upgrade and use for this fight. Zweihander or claymore would be fine options, even a longsword if you have nothing else. You could even farm the silver knights and try to get a silver knight sword drop

In my opinion the regular Black Knight sword+5 is as good as the great sword and a lot easier to weild.i went in light.only with the sword and ran like hell to stay out of the way.was'nt pretty but I took them on the second attempt.i'm 67 but still love these games.
Glad you enjoy these kinds of games! I haven't played anything but online first person shooters for 2-3 years now, and these games are a really fun change of pac.

I feel so weird. I bought dark souls remastered for the switch and I’ve been using this walkthrough to go through the game and I beat these guys in 4 TRIES! This is my first actual souls play through and I feel soooo good for beating them in that few number of attempts.

Took me over 20 tries with me and my brother helping. 2 days later with a smidge of health I finally finished. Took a victory lap round my house xD Thank you Cowboy!! My greatest gaming achievement.
idk if they buffed the bosses or something, but this took my soul. It took me around 13+ tries. each time i would kill smough, but ornstein was just too difficult, maybe because my weapon wasnt as strong as yours. I left and invaded lautrec which gave me 5 humanity, so i used it to summon solaire to help me, it took 5 humanity, meaning 5 tries, to finally do this. so a total of 17+ tries. This game has taken my soul.
@searcher Haha, I accidently entered the gargoyle fight not knowing, then I'm like oh shit it's the boss from the videos I've seen, and i somehow rushed in and finished the fight in like a minute without getting hit. Couldn't even believe it I was so damn lucky I didn't even try 😂
I didn't realize I was hollow when I went into the fight so I assumed there was no summon sign for Solaire 🤷🏾♂️ lol I would say that's when I realized I got gud, even though I went the mega-smough route
Bro I actually cried a little when I somehow managed first try, I may have looked like I was having a panic attack during it but I got it done. 10/10 would do again
I was so hyped for this fight. Then Solaire decides to go absolutely HAM on Ornstein and we made quick work of Super Smough with my +10 Zweihander. Whole fight lasted 1 minute lol. I had more trouble with the Royal Sentinels before the fog gate.
Beat Ornstein and Smough first try on my first time ever playing a Dark Souls game. You could not be more right about keeping calm and not getting greedy. I got close to panicking but calmed myself and beat them without dying once. I had more of an issue getting past the giants without using half of my Estus XD
LITERALLY same scenario word by word that you described, was for me. I panicked at the hall with the Giants moreso than I did fighting the brothers. Forced myself to not panic roll and first tried it
Did the same as you, My first time playing DS1 and I actually decimated O&S first try, But to be fair i had my great scythe leveled up to 15 and i farmed for souls in painted world to level up my dex so I've been running through enemies lol
I’m just replaying the game using your guide this time. Just before the boss fight I get invaded by none other than Santa clause. He drops in leaves me 99 of every upgrade mat and 99 hero souls then bows again and leaves. Christmas miracles do happen!
I always thought Ornstein and Smough were the final bosses when I first got the game from watching speedruns, but never managed to get to them. The very first time I ever fought them was this morning and I beat them first try haha
Ohh ... you could have mentioned that if you did the Laurec Quest Line then you can invade him before the boss area and collect his gear at the bonfire area after the boss =)
Oh man, man oh man, do I have anyone to thank but you? Before I watched this guide, I was stuck in the undead burg, never even made it past the Taurus demon. But from playing along and seeing how you handle these situations, I was able to beat those two on my first ever go. I really appreciate the guide, and all of the advice!
So I strayed away from the walk-through for a few episodes as this os my first play through dark souls and I absolutely smashed through these guys and even forgot to summon soltaire... 😂😂😂
Alternatively for those who didn't kill Lautrec early on and were patient. The room before Londo Bro's with the 2 Gold Knights is where you would use the black eye orb to invade. Then, his armor is located on the floors above the Londo Bro's boss fight where you take the elevator up.
I was focusing smough while solaire was fighting ornstein. I fought super smough because solaire literally killed ornstein by himself before I could kill smough and survived with more than half his health 💀💀 I just got carried
Tried beating them with a +10 claymore and grass crest shield. I actually beat Smogh the first time and got Ornstein down to 1/4 health, but I died. Then they wrecked me 3 times in a row after that. I decided to stop relying on the shield and 2-handed the Black Knight Great Sword +3. I ended up beating their ass with like 6/7 flasks to spare. What a difference all that extra damage made.
I was playing this video on my second monitor while making my way through and we beat smough at the exact same time and our cutscenes were synced so well.
Dude I followed stap by stap, I watched every vdeo so far, it took me a month to get here now I talked to that guy to sell the extra stuff I had in my inventory that was full of junk, now it's all over. Fuck dude I'm so pissed, just tell us not to talk to it after the bell rings, that thing has been there forever shit dude.
It should be noted that Frampt is available at Firelink Shrine as soon as you ring the two Bells. You can sell/”feed him” items like your extra armor and weapons for Souls. You can also sell/“feed him” varying titanites in exchange for a number of their lower qualities.
Up until this point I actually found the game quite simple, was able to complete all the boses within like 2 or 3 goes. But my god was O & S tough. Must have took me like 50 goes. Gave up countless times but always came back because cowboys "get good" comment kept me going 😂 love the walk-throughs
Same here, i got the previous bosses in like 2 tries but O and S humbled me but I got them in my 8th try but still don't know if I got lucky or got good
This is such a good guide! I was terrified of this boss fight because everyone told me it was nigh impossible, but I farmed humanities way back in the sewer area. I ended up using about ten of them, instead of estus flasks, because those heal less. But I beat it on my first try! Solaire was no help, though, Ornstein killed him within 40 seconds. The giants outside the boss room killed me four times, though.
The white circle beside the bleed and poison is divine damage. East Wood ring doesn't reduce durability loss from using special attacks like shockwaves from the drake sword (if I remember correctly). And Frampt appears right after the two bells are rung (way before lordvessel).
Killing that Fire Keeper makes it less convenient to grind on those giants later, because each loop is 9,000 souls and it's a really quick turnaround. Was very useful when I needed to grind out a few times.
Honestly it's the best soul grinding spot for me after beating the duo. A lot of souls, fast, easy and practical. Once you get the silver ring + overkill the enemies, it got me like 12,000 souls per trip. And that's before the mimic head accessory too.
Black Knight Great Sword is so insane lol. I got when cowboy did when the Knight glitched into the stairs. I got it up to plus 4 and it wrecked O and Smough. Make sure you wear the Silver Knight Armor as it has high lightening damage (and at this point in the game its really good also. IFyou are having issues with O and Smough, Those two knights before the boss room give you 3k souls a pop so farm them to level up your weapon or get to a higher level.
Thanks to cowboy and some MASSIVE soul farming and over 999 poison arrows this place was a cake walk. I used a zweihander+10 and solaire and straight crapped all over orstien and smough. Once the orstien fell smough was quickly dispatched by me and sunbro. Praise the sun!
He has insane gear especially that sword idk if it was nurfed but definitely worth checking out also dragon greatsword is a great weapon if u meet the stats i beat the game with it having little difficulty myself
I'm late to Ornstein and Smough. I played backwards starting with DS3, then BB, then DS2, and now DS Remastered. I did not feel this boss was all that crazy hard. I beat them on my 5th or 6th try, which is not much. Once I learned how to defend using the pillars, the fight became very doable. For contrast, Nameless King killed me 70-80 times when I got to the end of DS3. I put the game down for like a year and a half, then came back it and beat him in like 20 tries. I was at a high level with a strength build on that one.
Well, str and vig builds are the easy mode on every Dark souls ... Worse thing is that pretty much 70% of people played it on this easy mode. And still the promedy of deaths in ds1 is 600 on first play trough (From showed it somewhere and some time i dont remember)
I don't know what happened with you, but on my first playthrough against Nameless King I killed him on my 6th try. If I ever died to a boss more than 30 times let alone 70-80 times I would uninstall for good.
Okay, I know that I came in late on this. I got Dark Souls as a Christmas gift in 2023. I love playing this game despite its character movement limitations. That said, what would exactly happen if you did side with frampt? I think trading items in for souls is a cool feature if you have around 7 early game spears you want to get rid of.
I beat Ornstein and Smough first try (With Sunbro's help of course) Though as I play Dark souls remaster I seem to be getting better and better to the point bosses hardly ever hit me now.
He talks about the Black Knight Greatsword and the damage it’s dealing during the boss fight with O and S. For anyone that doesn’t have that and is doing a strength build, I was doing just as much damage with just the starting battle ax, two handed, using strong attack only. It uses a similar amount of endurance as well with each swing. Was able to one shot O and S my first playthrough. I come to these vids after I clear a section to see if I missed anything serious sometimes, and I found it interesting that the damage he was doing was considered a lot for a new save run and figured I’d share as the Battle Ax is about as easily an obtained weapon as it gets.
SPOILERS If you don't kill Shiva later in the game, he will talk about his fruitless search about Chaos Blade. If you have it, he will kindly ask you to give it to him. And if you refuse, he will become hostile. So kill him and get the goodies.
Managed to beat them in less than 10 tries, with only ten flasks (no humanties), no Soliare, with my Black Knight Sword +5 and no resin augmentation. Killed Ornstein last to take down mega version of him so I can get his cool looking armor. Definitely a hard fight as I was out of flasks when Ornstein was one hit away from dying but I got the strike in :) Also you forgot to mention in the video that the one that get empowered also has his health fully restored. Found this out as I thought I could preemptively weaken Ornstein for the second phase before killing Smough but it's not possible.
Accidentally hit Solire had to go back to the Darkroot garden (glitch) to grind 30k in 5 minutes ..and gone to Boss Gargoyle area to Purchase Absolution ...
"how is your shield blocking that?" its okay, i literally lost 40k souls because on of them that had a GD spear stabbed me through a concrete wall. I had left a room and rounded the corner to use an Estus, and his spear came through the concrete wall and killed me. arrrggghhh
For the guy who needs this: when you run out of humanity because you died so many times, take heart! Make the run back to depths, farm them puppies, run back and SLAY UM! Took me about 15 tries so... GL you can do this!
I was having a hard time on ornstein and smough because at that point I had no humanity, so summoning help was a lost cause. Well I can say after about 15 or so tries, I was able to do it solo! Thankyou so much for this guide, it has helped immensely.
I played the backwards compatible ds1 on Xbox one and I noticed if you do a shiton of damage in a short period of time to smough with any weapon then he will get stunned
Felt kinda bad about killing Shiva, but I know Cowboy. If he says, "it'll come in handy later," you'd best pick it up if you're going to follow his guide. Every time he says, "this might be tricky," I wince.
Stunlock in this game is pretty amazing (when done by you, not the enemies xD). I cheesed Iron Golem by repeatedly stunlocking him with Great Scythe heavy swings
I'm following this guide and I tried to be smough first but solaire literally soloed ornstein faster than I could kill smough lol. All in all due to following this guide with the exception of using the Zweihander plus 10 instead of the dark knight great sword I dunked on them. GREAT GUIDE.

Died the first fight against Ornstein and Smough with Solair and a random phantom, ran in again to get my souls thinking I could also learn there attacks and I somehow soloed them with the help of 3 humanities 😂
Late comment, managed to beat them both with no summons! Felt so rewarding to get the win on these guys. I did go through some Estus and my weapon is the same as CB’s but +5 This is what dark souls is about!
Since cowboy has greatsword for him taking down those two giant knights was easy as for quality build guy it was nightmare lol. It was so tough for me that O&S were a joke for me had to use 2 humanity as heal ahh disgusting but only because those two damn knights 😭
Excellent walkthrough, I use them to check where to go and then see if I missed anything after I go through the area. Still, the bosses seem easier than I was expecting (mostly doing 1 try on them including the Ornstein/ Smaug duo). Maybe it is not that difficult because I played bloodborne and Sekiro before? In any case, great vids, keep it up.
Ok so if I have my claymore up to 10 I haven’t been lucky enough to get a black knight sword drop so should I just keep reinforcing my claymore or what do you recommend?
Brandon Camara I had the same problem - cowboy tweeted back saying, power up zweihander, claymore or man serpent Greatsword. I would recommend Zweihander
I recommend you farm and upgrade the regular ugs. Fuck zweihander and claymore. I hate them. Claymore is fast but does pitiful damage, zweihander is slow as hell. UGS is the perfect balance.
Yea i am running a dex build but i kinda screwed up and ran outta humanity and cant kindle so im worried im about to get wrecked. Havent even made my 1st attempt yet.

The same thing happened with me but with Sorceries. 2 estus and the fight with cut scenes was done in 3 mins.

I feel so weird. I bought dark souls remastered for the switch and I’ve been using this walkthrough to go through the game and I beat these guys in 4 TRIES! This is my first actual souls play through and I feel soooo good for beating them in that few number of attempts.

Took me over 20 tries with me and my brother helping. 2 days later with a smidge of health I finally finished. Took a victory lap round my house xD Thank you Cowboy!! My greatest gaming achievement.
idk if they buffed the bosses or something, but this took my soul. It took me around 13+ tries. each time i would kill smough, but ornstein was just too difficult, maybe because my weapon wasnt as strong as yours. I left and invaded lautrec which gave me 5 humanity, so i used it to summon solaire to help me, it took 5 humanity, meaning 5 tries, to finally do this. so a total of 17+ tries. This game has taken my soul.
1v1 Ornstein and smough (killed smough first, without solaire ) is my biggest achievement in video games
Same though i killed ornstein first and was up against Smough last, i've never beaten them without Solaire before.

@searcher Haha, I accidently entered the gargoyle fight not knowing, then I'm like oh shit it's the boss from the videos I've seen, and i somehow rushed in and finished the fight in like a minute without getting hit. Couldn't even believe it I was so damn lucky I didn't even try 😂
I didn't realize I was hollow when I went into the fight so I assumed there was no summon sign for Solaire 🤷🏾♂️ lol I would say that's when I realized I got gud, even though I went the mega-smough route

I was so hyped for this fight. Then Solaire decides to go absolutely HAM on Ornstein and we made quick work of Super Smough with my +10 Zweihander. Whole fight lasted 1 minute lol. I had more trouble with the Royal Sentinels before the fog gate.

Beat Ornstein and Smough first try on my first time ever playing a Dark Souls game. You could not be more right about keeping calm and not getting greedy. I got close to panicking but calmed myself and beat them without dying once. I had more of an issue getting past the giants without using half of my Estus XD

I always thought Ornstein and Smough were the final bosses when I first got the game from watching speedruns, but never managed to get to them. The very first time I ever fought them was this morning and I beat them first try haha
Ohh ... you could have mentioned that if you did the Laurec Quest Line then you can invade him before the boss area and collect his gear at the bonfire area after the boss =)
That Lightning Spear attack by Ornstein reminded me of a similar attack by Namless King in Dark Souls 3

Oh man, man oh man, do I have anyone to thank but you? Before I watched this guide, I was stuck in the undead burg, never even made it past the Taurus demon. But from playing along and seeing how you handle these situations, I was able to beat those two on my first ever go. I really appreciate the guide, and all of the advice!
So I strayed away from the walk-through for a few episodes as this os my first play through dark souls and I absolutely smashed through these guys and even forgot to summon soltaire... 😂😂😂
Alternatively for those who didn't kill Lautrec early on and were patient. The room before Londo Bro's with the 2 Gold Knights is where you would use the black eye orb to invade. Then, his armor is located on the floors above the Londo Bro's boss fight where you take the elevator up.
I was focusing smough while solaire was fighting ornstein. I fought super smough because solaire literally killed ornstein by himself before I could kill smough and survived with more than half his health 💀💀 I just got carried
Because of your badass walk-through I handled the boss 1st try with Solaire and no Estus left.
Tried beating them with a +10 claymore and grass crest shield. I actually beat Smogh the first time and got Ornstein down to 1/4 health, but I died. Then they wrecked me 3 times in a row after that. I decided to stop relying on the shield and 2-handed the Black Knight Great Sword +3. I ended up beating their ass with like 6/7 flasks to spare. What a difference all that extra damage made.
I was playing this video on my second monitor while making my way through and we beat smough at the exact same time and our cutscenes were synced so well.

It should be noted that Frampt is available at Firelink Shrine as soon as you ring the two Bells. You can sell/”feed him” items like your extra armor and weapons for Souls. You can also sell/“feed him” varying titanites in exchange for a number of their lower qualities.
Up until this point I actually found the game quite simple, was able to complete all the boses within like 2 or 3 goes. But my god was O & S tough. Must have took me like 50 goes. Gave up countless times but always came back because cowboys "get good" comment kept me going 😂 love the walk-throughs

I originally thought Ceaseless Discharge was a boss in the Demon Ruins, but now I know that it's Gwynevere's nickname.
This is such a good guide! I was terrified of this boss fight because everyone told me it was nigh impossible, but I farmed humanities way back in the sewer area. I ended up using about ten of them, instead of estus flasks, because those heal less. But I beat it on my first try! Solaire was no help, though, Ornstein killed him within 40 seconds.
The giants outside the boss room killed me four times, though.
The white circle beside the bleed and poison is divine damage.
East Wood ring doesn't reduce durability loss from using special attacks like shockwaves from the drake sword (if I remember correctly).
And Frampt appears right after the two bells are rung (way before lordvessel).
Killing that Fire Keeper makes it less convenient to grind on those giants later, because each loop is 9,000 souls and it's a really quick turnaround. Was very useful when I needed to grind out a few times.
It's quicker to kill the 2 knights neat Anor Londo for 2k souls in a minute.

Honestly it's the best soul grinding spot for me after beating the duo. A lot of souls, fast, easy and practical. Once you get the silver ring + overkill the enemies, it got me like 12,000 souls per trip. And that's before the mimic head accessory too.

Black Knight Great Sword is so insane lol. I got when cowboy did when the Knight glitched into the stairs. I got it up to plus 4 and it wrecked O and Smough. Make sure you wear the Silver Knight Armor as it has high lightening damage (and at this point in the game its really good also. IFyou are having issues with O and Smough, Those two knights before the boss room give you 3k souls a pop so farm them to level up your weapon or get to a higher level.
i wish i had it this boss seems impossible 😭

Thanks to cowboy and some MASSIVE soul farming and over 999 poison arrows this place was a cake walk. I used a zweihander+10 and solaire and straight crapped all over orstien and smough. Once the orstien fell smough was quickly dispatched by me and sunbro. Praise the sun!

I'm late to Ornstein and Smough. I played backwards starting with DS3, then BB, then DS2, and now DS Remastered. I did not feel this boss was all that crazy hard. I beat them on my 5th or 6th try, which is not much. Once I learned how to defend using the pillars, the fight became very doable. For contrast, Nameless King killed me 70-80 times when I got to the end of DS3. I put the game down for like a year and a half, then came back it and beat him in like 20 tries. I was at a high level with a strength build on that one.
Well, str and vig builds are the easy mode on every Dark souls ... Worse thing is that pretty much 70% of people played it on this easy mode. And still the promedy of deaths in ds1 is 600 on first play trough (From showed it somewhere and some time i dont remember)

I don't know what happened with you, but on my first playthrough against Nameless King I killed him on my 6th try. If I ever died to a boss more than 30 times let alone 70-80 times I would uninstall for good.
Okay, I know that I came in late on this. I got Dark Souls as a Christmas gift in 2023. I love playing this game despite its character movement limitations. That said, what would exactly happen if you did side with frampt? I think trading items in for souls is a cool feature if you have around 7 early game spears you want to get rid of.

I beat Ornstein and Smough first try (With Sunbro's help of course) Though as I play Dark souls remaster I seem to be getting better and better to the point bosses hardly ever hit me now.
I died like 50 times to O&S, but finally made it solo and had 4 estus left. This bosses are really like QWOP.
He talks about the Black Knight Greatsword and the damage it’s dealing during the boss fight with O and S. For anyone that doesn’t have that and is doing a strength build, I was doing just as much damage with just the starting battle ax, two handed, using strong attack only. It uses a similar amount of endurance as well with each swing. Was able to one shot O and S my first playthrough. I come to these vids after I clear a section to see if I missed anything serious sometimes, and I found it interesting that the damage he was doing was considered a lot for a new save run and figured I’d share as the Battle Ax is about as easily an obtained weapon as it gets.

If you don't kill Shiva later in the game, he will talk about his fruitless search about Chaos Blade. If you have it, he will kindly ask you to give it to him. And if you refuse, he will become hostile.
So kill him and get the goodies.
Managed to beat them in less than 10 tries, with only ten flasks (no humanties), no Soliare, with my Black Knight Sword +5 and no resin augmentation. Killed Ornstein last to take down mega version of him so I can get his cool looking armor. Definitely a hard fight as I was out of flasks when Ornstein was one hit away from dying but I got the strike in :)
Also you forgot to mention in the video that the one that get empowered also has his health fully restored. Found this out as I thought I could preemptively weaken Ornstein for the second phase before killing Smough but it's not possible.
Accidentally hit Solire had to go back to the Darkroot garden (glitch) to grind 30k in 5 minutes ..and gone to Boss Gargoyle area to Purchase Absolution ...

"how is your shield blocking that?" its okay, i literally lost 40k souls because on of them that had a GD spear stabbed me through a concrete wall. I had left a room and rounded the corner to use an Estus, and his spear came through the concrete wall and killed me. arrrggghhh
For the guy who needs this: when you run out of humanity because you died so many times, take heart! Make the run back to depths, farm them puppies, run back and SLAY UM! Took me about 15 tries so... GL you can do this!

I was having a hard time on ornstein and smough because at that point I had no humanity, so summoning help was a lost cause. Well I can say after about 15 or so tries, I was able to do it solo! Thankyou so much for this guide, it has helped immensely.

I played the backwards compatible ds1 on Xbox one and I noticed if you do a shiton of damage in a short period of time to smough with any weapon then he will get stunned

if you summon Remy and Solaire (Remy is right in front of the fog) they annihilate Ornstein & Smough. Had no troubles and didnt die once.
Just beat this guys for the first time. That transformation was literally the most badass thing I have ever seen.
Stunlock in this game is pretty amazing (when done by you, not the enemies xD). I cheesed Iron Golem by repeatedly stunlocking him with Great Scythe heavy swings
For those struggling with the the duo the claymore stuns both on its third hit
After many tries with Claymore plus 10 went in with Crystal Halbert plus 2. Huge difference. Beat them right away. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I'm following this guide and I tried to be smough first but solaire literally soloed ornstein faster than I could kill smough lol. All in all due to following this guide with the exception of using the Zweihander plus 10 instead of the dark knight great sword I dunked on them. GREAT GUIDE.

Excellent walkthrough, I use them to check where to go and then see if I missed anything after I go through the area. Still, the bosses seem easier than I was expecting (mostly doing 1 try on them including the Ornstein/ Smaug duo). Maybe it is not that difficult because I played bloodborne and Sekiro before? In any case, great vids, keep it up.

I recommend you farm and upgrade the regular ugs. Fuck zweihander and claymore. I hate them. Claymore is fast but does pitiful damage, zweihander is slow as hell. UGS is the perfect balance.
