Glad to hear that! Happy cooking!
You are the best teacher ❤❤❤❤❤ Thank you ❤❤❤❤😊
I love Maangchi's little stories and nuggets of wisdom that she shares 🥺🙏💕
"nuggets of wisdom" I learned a new expression from you! : )
@@Maangchi I love you Maangchi! 💖
It's one of my favorite things!
I was gonna say the same, I like stories attached 😊
Me too 😃
Maangchi just made my life a whole lot easier. I just realized I neglected to make myself dinner earlier, and wasn't sure what to make. I'm going to have this alongside my homemade pork mandu, some ramyun, kimchi and rice.
That is heaven
Sounds delicious!
That sounds like a feast!
Thanks that you exists

Been watching Maangchi since 2017 and I absolutely love that she even films it when she washes the vegetables, her hands and the chopping board. It really makes me feel involved in the entire process. Love the videos Maangchi!
I made this and before I could take a picture to share with you it was gone. We loved it. Am African and I enjoy your recipes very much
Congratulations!
Hello Angie, hope you're having a blissful day?
The way she chops the vegetables is just so satisfying 😆
This omelette's presentation is SO beautiful.
Copied from Japan
After watching this video I had to make it . I did it turned out beautifully. The only thing I did different was add garlic and the American in me wouldn't let me skip melting sharp cheddar cheese on top. Super easy, delicious, and filling.
i was literally browsing for gyeran mari recipes yesterday and when i saw maangchi uploads one made my heart super happy!!!!
This is one of my favorite side dishes. My mom still makes it for me whenever I visit her. After all these years, she still sees me as a child, LOL (she's in her late 70s). I love her version of course, since I grew up with it. Using scallions and 김 (seaweed, nori) and some other veggies, it really hits the spot. All I need is steamy white rice, kimchi, and rolled omelette. Simple, yet perfect meal.
What is kimchi
@@gilbertmiranda5329 It's salted and fermented vegetables, most typically cabbage, and quite flavorful. It's also fairly spicy. It's usually eaten alongside most Korean meals or can even be the focus of the meal. It's very good for the gut.
Is it okay if i use tomatoes in them?
Its copied from Japan
I know this is a cooking channel, but I have to demand your beauty regimen. Your skin always look so perfect!
She is so sweet! Soft spoken, cheerful & makes cooking look so easy.
Maangchi always makes me smile! I love the recipes... But the stories and personal touches really make this one of my favorite channels. 💕
What I like about your recipes are that they are small portions and make me want to try them. Large amounts overwhelm me just watching.
I watched your channel yesterday. I like your recipes. I tried korean omelette. It's so simple to make. My daughter liked it very much. Love you
👏Great news!
@@Maangchi *OK no hmm
I used to make these and even with not much experience, they turned out looking decent and tasting good ☺️ Love your story about the grandma.
Your kindness, warmth, and stories remind me of my grandma. I miss her very much. Thank you for the video and warm vibes
Love from India, Always wondered how it's made, after watching the dish so loved in many Korean serials. Thanks for such nice explanation
I love your recipes and warm presence. I love to see you cooking too.
Thank u😊 lots of love from India 🇮🇳 🇰🇷
Maangchi, I’m sure that university 힐머니 is so proud of how far you’ve come on UA-cam and in your life! I love Gyeran Mari, I’ll definitely be making this.
I miss South Korea. I lived there for 18 months and loved just about every day there.
I love how she always has a story behind the food ❤️
I always wonder how this was made! my husband's uncle's wife made similar and now I know you have to add little egg mix by little egg mix while rolling. I want to try this recipe for sure and later give to my son when he attends primary school. There are some dishes, I wish I learned from my grandma, but I am thankful you are sharing what you learned from your grandma!
I love how she told a small story and also how she explained everything 🥰
Hwaiting Unni! 💜
I love how wholesome you are Maangchi ❤️
I always refrained myself from making these rolls as I don’t have that square shaped pan , but your video gives me hope now☺️.
My omelette is almost like yours. Apart from onion and capsicum, i also add green chillies, coriander leaves and sometimes Italian seasonings to it .I will try to turn it into a roll on my round shaped pan now.
i have recently starting learning to cook Korean foods, i had to get used to kimchi now i love it. but I wanted to say, the korean kitchen is so good, it should be more appreciated!
I love you Maangchi. The way you explain things and the way you talk is just so sweet.
I would love to make with scallions😍
Yummy!!!!!!
That sounds good. I want to make with leeks. I bet it would be good with garlic chives, too.
You can add a little bit chilli 🌶 too 😋😋
Carrots and minced boiled spinach too!
Ooh scallions and spinach. I know part of dinner tonight now.
Maangchi, when I watch your videos, I feel as if I am sitting in your kitchen, listening to you and learning from you. That feeling of being in your kitchen makes me feel a little less alone. I love your recipes and stories, and the warmth and excitement which shines through in your videos always makes me smile :) thank you so much! I will try this recipe.
Thanks! I also feel someone is watching me cook even though it's filmed. Good luck with your Korean cooking!
She is the best! I learn so much from her. Cooking isn’t just about the ingredients.
I love the stories you share about your past. They're so precious.
So pretty! I was wondering how I was going to use up those leftover peppers in the fridge. Thank you!
Here, in India my mom make omelete with onion, green chilli and coriander. This makes it so colourful and yummy. Only we don't make it a roll and keep it round. Whenever my mom see the omelette in Western movies, she says oh it look so colourless, what kind of omelette is this.
Sounds great!
Hi Maangchi.. I am from TAMIL NADU, INDIA. I am watching your channel from 5 years.. all are good and nice explanation. I like how you speak.. This Gyeran Mari we people makes with onion, green chillies and little curry leaves. It name is egg omelette. It goes well with all kind of rice😋😋 Lots of 💕💕 from TAMIL NADU (INDIA)
Thank you, Maangchi ❤ These days I keep eating takeout food because I don't have time cook when working from home. This dish is so manageable for lunch break and I can finally make myself a healthy meal.
I have fallen in love with Korean food because of you, Maangchi. Love your recipes and even more watching you in the videos.
The egg roll looks very interesting, I hope to give this a try.
I'm watching @midnight and I'm feeling hungry can't wait to try this omelette tomorrow. I love the presentation so neat and classy 😍😍.. wow Korean dish it really tells their neat stylish culture just the way how lovely they look.
The heavy iron skillet ,Pan made the cooking very well done
I love her explanation it's " on point, not too much lengthy talking .
So good to see you and such nice quick, simple, versatile recipe!!! If anyone doesn't or can't eat eggs like me, obviously you can use an egg sub, but I made a chickpea flour version (1 part chickpea flour, to 1 part water or broth, and blended it well to get out the lumps and make it fluffy). Pour and cook (low and slow) just like the egg, it was yummy! (I did it on my Griddler so didn't have to keep adding to it. It was rounder but still yummy!)
I've been wondering about this Side Dish since watching my KDramas & I knew you'd teach us to cook this tasty dish! Thank you ❤
자주하는 계란말이인데 모양을 예쁘게 만드는 법을 배워 갑니다.
내일 아침엔 저도 망치님처럼 예쁜 모양으로 만들고 싶네용!^^
I am not Korean, and also have no experience with grandparents, so it’s cool to hear grandparent stories and learn recipes. Thanks for sharing. ☺️
*Hello, I am from Korea. Nice to meet you~!* 🖤💗
I'm going to study in South Korea so thank you for helping me to learn how to make these dishes pretty well

You, your rolled omalette n that grandma story... All are beautiful ❤👌👍I am from S.India, I use green chillies, black pepper, salt, curry and coriander leaves, onions, a pinch turmeric to the omelettes..its is delicious.
Maangchi, everything you make looks beautiful and delicious! Thank you so much 💓for another Happy video!

Its also made in Europe, egg omelett with white onion and pepper is loved everywhere. Sometimes we role it but dont cut. Sometimes we cut it very small and put it into clear soup, Its so nice to have something in common with the world.
hi Maangchi! My mom has basically made me grow up with your videos and recipes! thank you for keeping my mom and i connected to our culture, we live far from South Korea so I also want to thank you for reconnecting my mom with korean culture, thank you!
Wonderful!
Maangchi is a knife pro ☺️ would love a video on knife skills
i was browsing utube bcuz of boredom... lo and behold, found your channel and right on this beautiful omellette..gotta try this and now count me as one of your followers!!❤
Maangchi! I am so happy to see this video!! ♥️ I always searched "maangchi gyeran mari" but never saw any of your videos in search... Good to see you made a video for this :D
I always fail in the rolling part but let's see this time!
Thank you Maangchi ! I made this dish tonight for my husband and me and we loved it. I could eat eggs every day so I was looking to a different way to serve them and was very happy about your recipe. Well explained ad easy to make indeed!
Great 👍
I always thought this looked too difficult to make, but you made it seem so easy, I had to go and try right after I finished watching the video. Oh my god, it came out so nicely and it's so delicious, and it boosted my self-esteem so much, even when it's just an omelette, aaaaaaah thank you! 😭😭😭
Great job!👏
Around how long would you say it took? I’m tryna plan what time to get up to make this
@@watermelon3153 Not very long, the eggs cooked pretty fast. It really depends on how thick you make it and how quick you work in the kitchen.😂Maybe 10-15 minutes? I have an electric stove with cast iron burners, so they take forever to heat up.😅
Yummy
@@watermelon3153 it takes me less than 5 minutes
I tried this today with my wife. Additionally we added fresh green chilli, red chilli pieces and fish chips. It was so great and delicious. Thanks for the recipe.
Considering that this is not just eggs and that it has more vegetables to absorb flavor and served with rice, that tsp salt is perfect.
Ugh. I just love watching your channel.
That's really neat the way you kept adding more. Have you ever tried it with homemade chorizo, cheddar cheese and diced pickled jalapeno peppers? I'll have to try that sometime, thanks.
gonna definitely try, i have been trying your recipes for years
I love you!! And I love how you taught us how to do it on a circular pan!!
정말 먹음직스러운 계란말이네요! 잘봤습니다^^
At first I thought "Oh this is how I prepare my scrambled eggs", then I got hooked by the preparation in the pan 😍
Patient? Maanchi you make this with such mastery!! My goodness, what skill you have!! That identifies what I see when (I see) you cook 😘
Love how you make it look so simple and easy. Looks incredibly delicious 🥰
Simple and beautiful 💜 I can’t wait to try my hand at this and see if my family enjoys it
It reminds me of my first time making rolled omelette. I made it for breakfast for the family. I wonder if I still have a picture of it. I made it really huge I didn't know when to stop. It looked so strange, but everyone loved the taste I added carrots back then also for colour to make it pretty.
Thank you for showing me how to make this! 감사합니다 🙂
Her stories are everything!
계란말이 완전 맛있졍!!
조금 있으면 출근해야 할 월요일 새벽인데 이거 보니까 갑자기 또 출출하네 ㅠㅠ

Wow, the presentation is so colorful and pretty! It looks amazing and tasty.
i've never been so early in a Maangchi video. now i'll try this one time ❤️
Hey Maangchi,
Been watching you since 2017. I have Korean grandparents, and my mom is from Korean, even though she only lived there for 6 months after she was born (so she knows more English).
I must say your English is very good! And your video quality makes it so entertaining and interesting. I love to cook, so sometimes when I’m bored, I come here.
Now for the real part of this comment: you make your videos and recipes look so easy! I don’t know how you do it. Do you think you could make a behind-the-scenes video, on how you get your camera gear set up, food preparation, and even cleanup of all those dishes you use? I would be very interested. You could even do that as a subscriber special or something.
Keep up the amazing content, even during these times!
Maangchi you are my favorite Korean food channel!! 😍 Blessings!
I've been making omelettes for decades, and they have always been poor. Usually burned on the bottom, or dry, or all the filling at one end. But, I also make crepes a lot, and my crepes are very good. It never occurred to me that I could make an omelette like a crepe. It would be too thin, I thought. Not if I roll it. Now I can actually make a decent omelette, thanks to this simple recipe.
Thanks for sharing!

Omg! I will make this for my bulgogi side dish tomorrow! What a good idea for childrens lunch box! Will do that too! Thank you for this video you are so talented!
Roll omelette!! Is such a perfect side dish!!! Love it without any fancy tools
