He had the look of the everyday guy. Once you hear his music, the lyrics, and feel the man's passion you realize there's nobody like him. Not then, not now, and not ever.
I remember when the first album came out. What a great time in America. How times have changed. The 70s was a great decade of fantastic music concerts and good times. Thanks for sharing.
After seeing him perform on SNL I went out and bought the album the very next day. I would guess I have probably purchased 10 copies of that recording over my lifetime
I LOVED Meatloaf in the movie,"Roadie". He played Travis Redfish, a roadie for a band who was in love with Lola Bouillabaisse, a "groupie" who wasnt one yet, because she had to lose her virginity to Alice Cooper. Lots of laughs. A very obscure film, but one that will be enjoyed by anyone who came of age in the late '70's.😊
I remember when Roadie came out. There was a lot of buzz about it but it was trashed by critics. ( That's when I was in high school). I've since seen it. It had it's own charm and has become a cult film. Great soundtrack.
Fun fact: Meat Loaf left his Dallas high school classroom with friends on November 22, 1963 to race to Parkland Hospital to try see JFK's bullet-riddled limousine arrive. There is a local news video at the scene where you can see a young teenage Meat Loaf standing behind the news reporter, looking around.
You'd think someone who literally makes a living off their lungs would be at least cautious... but no. Too bad. He could really belt it out and has a lot of good songs.
He can truly see "Paradise" now. Thanks for the memories Meat.💔

I wouldn’t say the every day guy. The rest I agree with though.
❤😊

I was a young boy in the 70's but it was definitely a great time to be alive.
I LOVED LOVED MEATLOAF! AND really miss him
That album - still a classic.
Never knew he played Jack Black's dad....
R. I.P. Marvin Lee Aday...
Wow,....just wow. Wish we had this legend for just a little bit longer. Our loss is heaven's gain. ❤ Gone, but NEVER forgotten.
Rip Meat,Jim an Bob.
If there's a Meat Loaf biography, who else but Jack Black in the title role?
💙💙💙
Miss you Meat, RIP. See you on the flipside.

I was hoping to hear more about his early days before the career.
Really miss Meatloaf. I always enjoyed his talk show appearances. What an underdog story. RIP ❤️🌄🌈🕊️💫
His name is Robert Paulson!
I saw one of his earlier shows when he was really big guy and I could not believe how good he sounded❤

Rest in peace Rock God
A useful philosophy, never let your meat loaf.
They were still his, stienman's writing!
Died from WPW very rare but basically you’re a walking time bomb.
Many remember Meatloaf dying of a heart attack back in the 90s. Mandela Effect.
I sure don't remember that. Probably a hoax.
Who? No one I know of..
I'd love to watch this but i can't listen to the mismatched background music. Good luck everyone!

Didn't take COVID seriously...and died because of it.
Yeah … the medical field is guilty of offing lots of people. You can thank 2 countries … USA and China

He died from wpw furthest thing in the world from a bad flu
Died from covid.
Lol🤡
The music behind EVERYONE talking makes this video impossible to listen to. FFS, who thought that was a good idea??
And he died due to his own contrarianism and ignorance. What a waste.
Says a guy who has Diabetes. Maybe you should have watched your weight.
@@piscesempress1978 satire clearly isn't your strong suit, you grape.
He wasn't healthy. Yes, he could have lived longer had he respected COVID. What a shame. But no one lives forever.
His storyline mirrors Hoyt Axton a bit.
