It's a shame all that was cut out. I always thought it was weird that previous characters like Zarbon never returned and we never got the rest of the Ginyu Force, not even in Infinite World.
Not even Cui got an invitation. The Budokai Team was tripping hard
Yeah i think in an interview at yhe time they even promised that 19, Zarbon, and Dodoria would come back.

If I could time travel into the past, the one thing I’d do (outside of buying expensive real estate back when it was affordable) is beg Bandai JP & the devs to push the release date back (or make a rerelease a complete edition later) with all the Dragon Universes and this stage. The fact that my favourite DB game ever could’ve been a lot better burns me!
seems like bardock and future trunks were the most developed dragon universe modes before being cut, bardock is the only character who has a dragon universe portrait despite never appearing in any of used stories, and future trunks's story is referenced in both gohan and broly's stories
still hoping someone can mod them into the game someday, would be amazing to have a ton more content to play

Man, the Namekian Saga was always massively overlooked in the Budokai games especially in the sequels! It would’ve been great to see the entire Ginyu Force do their iconic pose in Budokai 3 and seeing Dodoria and Zarbon again would’ve made it even better.
Also, fun fact: In Vegeta’s Dragon Universe during the Planet Namek Saga, you can actually activate two cutscenes of Vegeta fighting Dodoria and Zarbon in classic Budokai 3 cutscene style by going to two very specific locations on the map. They don’t have any portraits though so you’ll only see Vegeta throughout the whole thing…
Man, I love B2’s saxophone too lol each game has something to like over the other and that’s just how I like it. These games are GOATED. These vids are great Cui brother, keep it up!
Having the full Ginyu force and a Frieza story mode would’ve been awesome! That sucks they had to cut all of that.

Idk what exactly they look like in game and stuff but i thought that King Kai's planet and car were seen when selecting a stage in duel mode.
Also i think the most disappointing cut story was the Saibaman turning on Vegeta to help the Z Fighters. 😂😢
That was probably it now that I think about it! i swear man, I wish they delayed the game a bit longer, so we could've got all the stories.

This is one of my favorite games. I slightly prefer Infinite World (Hot take I'm sure) but this will always be second best in my eyes
Nah, the gameplay for Infinite world is superior. Furthermore, the story mode for Budokai 3 aged poorly. It feels like busy work these days.
@Rough_Estimates I like Budokai 3's story mode. But I perfer Infinite World's. Like, say I've already beaten the story mode. if I want to go do the fight with Goku and Frieza again, I'd rather not be forced to play through everything that came before it first
Considering you’re known for the budokai games, I’m wondering if you’re gonna cover the budokai tenkaichi series cut content if you don’t mind me asking.
I have thought about doing so in the future, but the OG Budokais are gonna continue to be my focus for a while.

More than likely due to time restraints.

In terms of model swapping? The best tools to use are game graphic studios and afs explorer.

Budokai 2 has the most nostalgia for me so i can just keep playing it. Thats bullshit they made dragon rush longer its my least favorite feature of budokai 3 lol
