Bridesmaids is a classic and one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. Love the movie and the performances especially Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy. I really want a sequel to it but as years passed by I feel like this movie doesn't really need a sequel. One movie is already enough, no need for more 😁😁
I think entire movie was literally something the regular person can relate to (in every situation). Absolutely hilarious, amazing actors and let's not forget other amazing scenes. Simply art!
As someone who is studying about film making I really loved this video and how down to earth the director is and explained how it was shot which I always find interesting to know. But mostly on a level that everyone could understand it. I wish he could be my mentor
Anyone I meet with the name Steve, I’m always like “Stove, what kind of a name is Stove” to myself! Then me and I laugh at myself. We think I’m pretty funny.
I feel like I've just watched a TED Talk about making movies, and it was amazing. Paul Feig needs to lecture on filmmaking. Throw it up on Masterclass please.
I have NEVER laughed so hard at a movie theater to any comedy and then there was bridesmaids i swear i remember almost peeing my pants at the food poisoning scene
Looks like Tim Gun is his personal stylist lol sharp as a dagger. A1 look here he looks like a banker to me at a snobby bank. One of those $500k deposit minimum by appointment only banks.
Mitch Silpa was my level 3 teacher in Groundlings. He's so funny in real life. I still use one of his improv characters holding a cat. So glad he gets major props here. It IS the funniest scene because of him.
The unexpected landing in Casper WY - with a Britney Spears track blasting - had me stomping my feet in the theater I was laughing so hard! I can only imagine that Casper is less-focused on bachelorette parties than Las Vegas.
Never wanted to be an actress but if I had to, would love it if Mr. Feig directed me. Such a nice guy and love the comment about not adding music to comedy because he trusts the audience enough for them to get "it". Grest scene too!
"It's weird, it doesn't feel like 10 years ago and then sometimes it feels like it was 20 years ago." I have to agree. Her "It's the '90s" line didn't click when watching this right now because a part of me feels like this movie DID come out that long ago. Shows you how much has happened in the last decade. But then I have to remember that 20 years ago, we were introduced to the Parisian Night Suit.
I'm not gonna lie didn't realize this was Paul Fieg! I kept looking at him for the longest time trying to figure out what I've seen him on cuz he looked sooooo familiar. Sabrina the teenage witch! Mr. Pool!! Who knew? 😂😂
FYI this is also the man who directed the Dinner Party episode of The Office. Genius.
Really?! Thank you! 😂👍🏼
LOVE! THANKS!
Genius, brilliance
REALLY? what a freaking genius
No way! I just watched that episode the other night and thought it was one of the best episodes I've seen thus far! Amazing
“You doooooo?” Iconic.
Why is everything “Iconic” ?
@@michaelbarbera6222 it’s iconic to me. Doesn’t really matter what anybody else thinks. 😂
I love the way she takes Helen off😂
@@michaelbarbera6222 cuz ur mom is
smartbunny, 2002 called and wants its joke back.
Can paul feig just go thru the whole movie?? I love this!!!
The director’s commentary would be *brilliant*!
Great suggestion. Shawn R., Mo-Mutt Music/Sacred & Secular (and movie buff)
@@rainbowsandlove as a diehard Ghostbusters fan I loved his remake he's a great director
''Everything Kristen does makes me laugh, she is one of the funniest people on the planet'' - never a truer word spoken
"You doooooooo? Oooohhhhhh Helen knows the owner. " That scene always kills me! LOL
"You dooo?!" one of my favorite movie quotes of all time
“Everyone go back to your seats” then turning to face the window, was the funniest moment in the whole film for me, pure comedy gold.
Great line not mentioned in this vid: “there is a COLONIAL WOMAN on the WING” I have this overwhelming urge to holler that every time I’m on a plane
There's something they're not telling us, lol.
My sister and I broke down in hysterics in the theatre when we first saw this movie. It is just amazing. 😂🤣
😂
Churning butter 🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is I believe a take on the William Shatner twilight zone episode when he saw a monster on the wing of the plane
His drip just screams: *Pink Panther~💖💎*
Oh no chlamydia is nothing to joke about

The same team make a better movie: Ghostbusters.
@@AndrewNiccol that is NOT better than this! But, opinions...
@@AndrewNiccol Also the same team who made Spy and The Heat, two great action comedy movies
SHOW US THE OTHER 7 OR 8 TIMES KRISTEN CAME UP WITH SOMETHING NEW ON THE AIRPLANE SCENE!! please!!!
I think they’re on the dvd
I need ALL the dailies
That little montage of him laughing at the end is so precious! This man is my hero for making this movie.
My favorite line is ”Everybody go back to your seats”. Perfect timing.
Especially you

Some of the best lines were improvised by kristen 😪 she’s a fricken genius
I feel like I've just watched a TED Talk about making movies, and it was amazing. Paul Feig needs to lecture on filmmaking. Throw it up on Masterclass please.
YES! PLEASE!
His talk at NYFA is fantastic. Check it out
@@woodyfentress Thanks for the suggestion. I will try and find it!
I'll bet most of this movie was improv. There are just too many comedy geniuses in it.
So good! Never gets old!!! Also the long version of the jewelry store scene with her arguing with the teenager. PERFECTION
that teenager is Peter Frampton's (70's rock star/musician) daughter
@@vracan wow! Definitely did not know that she’s great in it
Paul Feig is such a great comedy director. We need a part 2 of Spy.
Anytime I know someone's name is Steve I immediately want to call them "Stove"
I now refer to a flight attendant as “Stove”.
YES any time I hear Steve they are AUTOMATICALLY Stove 😂😂
Really
He’s very dapper. Also, I was absolutely LMAOing all through “Bridesmaids”. One of my favorite comedy films.
He IS truly dapper.
I have NEVER laughed so hard at a movie theater to any comedy and then there was bridesmaids i swear i remember almost peeing my pants at the food poisoning scene
"This is the 90s"
"You're in the wrong decade" 😅
He should've also broken down the bridal shop scene. Best scene to me 😂
i love this scene so much that the "I'm ready to partyyyy" is my ringtone lol
thats brilliant lol...gotta find that for my phone too. It's my fav scene as well.
He’s dressed so nicely.
Blake Lively had her costumes modeled after him in A Simple Favor.
Looks like Tim Gun is his personal stylist lol sharp as a dagger. A1 look here he looks like a banker to me at a snobby bank. One of those $500k deposit minimum by appointment only banks.
His aesthetic in this video is John Waters meets Paul F Tompkins and I'm here for it
“Helen knows the owner..BIG WHOOP.”🤪🤪My absolute favorite comedy scene in all of cinema.🤗
Mitch Silpa was my level 3 teacher in Groundlings. He's so funny in real life. I still use one of his improv characters holding a cat. So glad he gets major props here. It IS the funniest scene because of him.
I wish I could see ALL the takes she did. They sound hilarious! I luv Kristen Wiig!
I love Paul Feig's movies. I think he is comedy genius.
One of the funniest movies ive ever seen
Would love a sequel. One of my fav comedies!
NO

All I have to hear is "Is your name 'Stove?'" and I am DYING...
"It's weird, it doesn't feel like 10 years ago and then sometimes it feels like it was 20 years ago."

Making fun of Helen was so good. The way they captured the dead air afterwards and awkwardness
“Whata kinda name is that?” is underrated… I… HOWL!!!! They didn’t do the whole sequence though. I wanted to hear him talk about the colonial woman. 😅
Oh man, I love that part! I really wish they would've included it!
This my mother’s all time favorite movie, and when it came out I was 8 and convinced her to let me watch it in theaters.
My whole family, coworkers, friends quote this whole whole scene all the time. The ad libs, the acting…It just works.
My mum took me to the cinema to see bridesmaids when I was 12 I remember people giving her looks. It was a perfect movie, so funny!
I hope Bridesmaids will be a part of Criterion Collection someday
yes im with him, im a im Mrs, Mrs Iglesias...I STILL CANNOT lolllll
Ha ha one of the great scenes in modern comedy ("and I'm going to go down to the river...").
Paul Feig is a national treasure. Such a talent. 💥👏
Not gonna lie, this is not how I expected Paul Feig to look like.
that’s strange because this is exactly as I pictured him lol.
He looks British.
Jesus! It’s been 10 years!!! Suddenly I feel so old.
Took my late 50’s mother & aunt to see this movie in the theater & they LAUGHED SO HARD at this movie & especially this scene. Absolutely HILARIOUS!
This, the Heat and Spy are such awesome hilarious movies
He was on such a roll then, and the casting directors he was working with deserve a lot of credit too
There isn’t a single part of this scene that isn’t iconic
It is too short!!
One of my favorite movies as an adult, all of these women did an excellent job 😂😂 hello grandpa
Paul Feig is great. This movie looks like it was so fun to make for everyone and that makes me so happy.
Seriously one of the funniest scenes in a movie, EVER. "Miss..." No, it's not me." 😂😂
I have this scene to thank for people looking at me funny every day after I say “THIS IS THE 90s”
He's so wholesome :)
Was always hoping for a sequel and always wanted to see them in Vegas.
shoul've broken down that retail scene with the little girl 😂
Paul is a genius.
Wish there was more media spotlight on him.
I'm planning my sister and her partners bridal shower in Aug!! The theme is this movie
That is so cool!
I hope it goes better than *their* bridal shower…!
Im stealing that idea
my favourite film EVEERRRR and this scene is ICONIC!!
Cannot believe he stopped there. It gets so much better after this!!
Kristin Wig is a comedic genius .
I love how much he laughs :’)))
Not gonna lie, I used the quote "help me I'm poor" a few times when I'm expecting my friend to pay the lunch bill.
I usually text my close workmates that or send a gif through slack 😂 they'd be like "Anjelica, we're all poor!"
I'm forever glad I saw this at the cinema. 💕
One of the funniest things is also seeing Melissa McCarthy in the back just staring in awe. 😂
10:04 "Help Me I'm Poor" Gets Me Every Time 😂😂😂
I’m so proud of mr pool and his success
best scene of the best comedy of the past 2 decades
This was therapy. That scene. Omg. 😍👍
not using music is a wonderful idea. I agree and love how silence can grab you when watching a movie. Thank you for talking about that Paul.
Bridesmaids is one of the best movies ever!
"You doooooooo?! Helen knows the owner...big Woop" 😂😂😂👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I love the upcoming scene too “there’s a colonial woman on the wing!!”
One of the most hillarious scenes ive ever seen lmfaooo
I love this so much! One of my all time favorite comedies! ❤ Always cracks me up
On a personal level, Paul is the most gracious director I’ve had the pleasure of working with.
I LOVED him in Heavyweights. That was one of my favorite childhood movies.
More clips with this fine director please!
Kirsten is pure gold
One of the great comedy scenes in movie history.
This my sisters and I favorite movie and quote it ever time I see her
Love this movie. Saw itt in Sedona Arizona when it came out 🧡
I’ve watched this scene so many times. Comedy gold.
Omg this came out 10 years ago. I feel so old lol
10 years.... Jesus.
Sabrina’s teacher directed Bridesmaids???? 🤯 Well, clearly I live under a rock.
So funny, this scene. Hysterical, made me love Kristin Wiig more than ever. Annie. 😁
Jesus Christ give this man an Oscar!!!
This is one of the only movies that actually makes me laugh out loud. Brilliant ☺️
Kept replaying that hip swing when the video showed it first. Then seconds later, director points that out. I mean, right?
Literally the funniest scene in movie history
This is my most quoted movie scene. 🤣🤣🤣
Best comedy movie scene ever. Kristen Wiig is so good!
I love this scene. The whole movie is hilarious
I C O N I C. Comedy scene ♥️ Loved this x
Can he do the whole movie pls
One of my favorite movies. I happened to watch it again about a week ago.
One of the best scenes In any comedy, ever
