Another big ride difference - Big Thunder is on an Island and takes your picture! It was so much fun and longer since you have to go under the river to start and end the ride. Also Phantom Manor - but it was closed when I was there.
Disneyland Paris is where my love for Disney started. Growing up in Italy it was practically in my backyard. Did two cultural exchange programs at Disney World. Meet my husbands on my first program. Got married at Disney. Lived in a few places around the United States and recent moved to Orlando, such a good decision.
And what about Frontierland and Main Street? In Main Street we have two covered « arcades », one of the left of the street and one the right side. They help getting from Town Square to Central Plaza when the weather is terrible. The left one is themed on the Statue of Liberty, a link between France and USA and the second one leads to Discoveryland’s entrance so it’s more of a steampunk, XIXth century’s future way. Main Street in Paris also has lots of secrets, you can hear the phone calls between inhabitants of Main Street in some stores, and hear the piano lessons under the window of a piano teacher... This is so exciting to wander around and find the dozens of details like this one. Tell me if you want more I’ll give you all of them. Each store and restaurant has a storyline. Frontierland in Disneyland Paris doesn’t have many rides but it’s pretty big and the rides are awesome. Big thunder mountain is located on an island, in the center of a lake called Rivers of America. It is rumored to be the best version of big thunder mountain (I did Tokyo, Paris and Anaheim, my sister did Walt disney world and we agree on that, tell me what you think abiut this). It’s more thrilling and you have your picture took, with even some water after a drop in summer. And what’s more, the storyline of this land is amazing and everything is related to our version of the coolest ride of Disneyland: Phantom Manor (Haunted Mansion’s counterpart). Phantom Manor is darker and currently under refurbishment to update the effects and clarify the storyline. For now, what we know is that Mr. Ravenswood once found gold near Fort Comstock. He founded the Thunder Mesa Mining Company and hired minors to dig into the mountain. A city eventually spawned aroud the mine to host the minors’ families and the life went well. But an indian tribe that lived close was the first owner of the mountain, and they told Ravenswood to not steal the thunderbird’s gold (you can actually see a thunderbird inscription on a wall in big thunder mountain). Ravenswood didn’t pay attention and built a rich manor on the highest point of Thunder Mesa (the name of the new city): Boot Hill. Then it appears that the Ravenswoods’ daughter, Melanie, fell in love with someone his father didn’t want her to marry, we don’t know much about his identity. But the curse of the Thunderbird was powerful and Melanie’s parents died a short time before the wedding. And during the ceremony, as everyone was there, the groom was nowhere to be found. Everyone was trapped inside the manor and psychologically tortured by the Phantom (whose identity is a mystery, maybe Mr Ravenswood, maybe the ghost summoned by the Thunderbird...) who hang the husband in the stretch room. Melanie’s ghost is vowed to look for her groom in the manor, for eternity. Six years later, Jasper and Anna Jones, two employees of the Ravenswood family achieved to get out of the mansion but they went crazy and died. So the Ravenswood Manor was renamed Phantom Manor and left abandonned, and according to the decreasing population of Thunder Mesa (a lot of minors died in an earthquake and the mining company closed), we can see some shadows passing by the windows at night... Of course Frontierland in Paris also has two riverboats, Mark Twain and Molly Brown YAY!
Hey! Just wanted to say that normally space mountain in Paris is normally called space mountain mission 2 but with season of the force it’s called hyperspace mountain! I believe that California’s one also sometimes temporarily becomes hyperspace mountain. Great video and hope this helps!
Well it´s been called Hyperspace Mountain for almost two years now... It's rumored to go back to Mission 2 in the future but think it might stick around with the star wars theme until Star Wars Land opens at WDS in 2023-24, so that people have something Star Wars related to do at the park apart from Star Tours.
I went here as a little kid, loved it... especially Indiana Jones. Can’t wait to check out the new Phantom Manor. Awesome video, I still can’t believe how big Adventureland is!
If anyone had Disney+ I would watch the imagineering series...they cover the details and differences of Disney Paris in great detail and it's far more than one would imagine. The park style for me personally is simply amazing.
this was WONDERFUL! Going for my first time in September. I'm a WDW vet and have done disneyland twice, so I definitely have a certain idea of how everything is, and im excited to see the differences!
None. All the Disney Parks should be unique. What would be the point of visiting Disneyland Paris is everything there was cloned at Disneyland Anaheim?
@@Lil_Angry_Bitch another point if we have an exclusive attraction and the American parks take them and we're supposed to do what you think and then you didn’t see everything?
What fun -- thanks for sharing. The "American" side for the steering wheel is the same as the "European" side. It is the UK that's on the opposite side.
Yes. Most are former British colonies. In Europe only the UK, Ireland, Malta and Crete drive on the left, and hence my comment that the American and European side are the same.
Probably not the first post about this but I I have to point out having the steering wheel on the right is hardly a “European style” since there’s only one country here that has it that way. No other country in Europe apart from Great Britain has it that way. ;)
Absolutely love it! I laughed so hard (he went overboard and the 8th wonder of the world the backside of water) this makes me feel like I want to go there. I get what you're putting down. Well done! Provost Park Pass.
I am always curious to see how other countries view the U.S. Thanks for the peek into "It's a Small World"! No more "real" mythical creatures though, disappointed... lol! Discoveryland is a steam punk kind of theme yes? Love the video as usual!
Where is Miles? I think that little Penguin needs to get his face in more of these videos. Okay, Chris, you are the best!! There is nothing more I can say on that subject. HI AMANDA!!!! Love the French Braid!!! How many of your entourage went with you to Paris?
A guy went into a Spanish bar and asked for some red port wine. The Bartender said we have no Red Port Left. On boats and aircraft, the red light is on the port, or left side. That's how I remember it.
What do Pirates do? Really, dude? They pillage and plunder, they rifle and loot! They kidnap and ravage and don't give a hoot! (feel free to add "drink up me hardy's, yo ho" between those lines)
Paris Disney looks amazing. Will you go to Tokyo Disneyland or Disney sea. My son is in the Navy and stationed in Japan. Him and his wife loves Tokyo disney/disney sea. I would love for you and Amanda (and Miles) to experience Tokyo. Love love your videos.
trying to be funny by pronouncing french words wrong is just plain rude, maybe try looking up the pronunciation before you start filming next time and dont put stupid "outtakes" as the intro to your video. 7 seconds in and im leaving the video. be respectful or stay at home
Oh great. Even the European Disneyland has been tainted by Star Wars. Don't get me wrong. I love Star Wars. But why does Disney feel the need to incorporate it into their parks so much? Will they rename the parks "Star Wars Land?" They might as well!

🇫🇷 Backside of water joke - never gets old. Going retro! Never saw these videos!!

I love these Paris videos. It’s probably the closest I’ll ever get to it. It’s such a beautiful park.
American steering wheel or European?! We drive on the same side of the road 🤷♀️ UK and Europe are not the same thing you know?
Oh man. I’m an idiot. 🤪
Really enjoying these Disneyland Paris videos. Looking forward to the next already.
Super cool video. Are you guys planning a Disney world trip? It would be great to see some of your vids before I go next dec.
If anyone had Disney+ I would watch the imagineering series...they cover the details and differences of Disney Paris in great detail and it's far more than one would imagine. The park style for me personally is simply amazing.
This channel is sooo awesome 😅
Awe thank you!!!!!
this was WONDERFUL! Going for my first time in September. I'm a WDW vet and have done disneyland twice, so I definitely have a certain idea of how everything is, and im excited to see the differences!
⚾️ 🍦 🇺🇸 Girl playing baseball eating ice cream. - love it!
If you were an imagineer, what parts of disneyland paris would you bring to disneyland anaheim?
None. All the Disney Parks should be unique. What would be the point of visiting Disneyland Paris is everything there was cloned at Disneyland Anaheim?
LAB-Lil' Angry B!tch good point!
@@Lil_Angry_Bitch another point if we have an exclusive attraction and the American parks take them and we're supposed to do what you think and then you didn’t see everything?
SPACE. MOUNTAIN. FROM. PARIS.
What a great question!! I would bring over the adventureland rocks. Such a fun place!!
I’m from CA but we went to Disneyland Paris and we constantly talk about how we wish we had Paris’s Indiana Jones and space mountain
That just looks like a ton of fun! Thanks for bringing the coolness to us!
What fun -- thanks for sharing.

There are a lot of countries that are on the non-American side
Yes. Most are former British colonies. In Europe only the UK, Ireland, Malta and Crete drive on the left, and hence my comment that the American and European side are the same.
I was just there for Halloween. I hope you enjoy your stay
No discussion of Frontierland?
Probably not the first post about this but I I have to point out having the steering wheel on the right is hardly a “European style” since there’s only one country here that has it that way. No other country in Europe apart from Great Britain has it that way. ;)
you forgot the encounter with the giant squid in the nautilus attraction where you are at the front of the sub and come face to face with it
That is so great that you guys did a Disneyland Park in another country. I hope you can do the Asian Disneyland Parks also! Love the videos

A guy went into a Spanish bar and asked for some red port wine. The Bartender said we have no Red Port Left. On boats and aircraft, the red light is on the port, or left side. That's how I remember it.
