- We visit Disneyland Paris! It first opened in 1992 The entertainment resort in Chessy, France, 32 km east of Paris. It encompasses two theme parks, resort hotels, Disney Nature Resorts, a shopping, dining and entertainment complex, and a golf course!
Is it worth the price?

I love Disneyland Paris I’ve been twice. Best thing ever was watching my kids faces light up. My son’s favourite was the haunted house & my daughter loved the runaway train
The best tip we ever got when we went to florida was to get to the theme parks as they open then take the monorail to the furthest part of the park. So you are basically working your way back towards the entrance. That way you avoid the queues 😉😁👌
Same with Alton Towers or any other big theme park tbh
You’re right , I tell ya someone should take a fit bit thing with them and count the steps , we couldn’t get around mgm studios in one day we had to do front first then another day do the back of park , same with universal studios , you must walk over 10 miles a day walking around a park in florida , you need a two week break when you come back
The monorail doesn't actually go into the parks, just to the entrance of magic kingdom or epcot.
@hannahwilliams5394 this was 30 years ago 😂
The problem is, especially with magic kingdom, your at the front for rope drop, and once it goes, people run and dash to the more popular rides, so right away your competing with them, if your fast then your goole, but the ques are pretty big the whole day. Unless you get genie plus and pay the LL, your waiting for a long time. Another tip is, instead of watching the fireworks, then the rides aren't as busy. Now I've never done this as don't stay in magic kingdom long enough till the end, but it'd the only time when everyone leave the rides to watch the fireworks
I was there just before my son got surgery on his hips a very good friend and partner brought us there who is not with us anymore due to pancreatic cancer thanks for the memories ✨
Thanks for taking us along with you. It was fun 😊.
just got back from a week in disneyland yesterday and the parent swap they do so you dont have to queue twice is great
As a kid we would go every summer to Disney Paris ( because my mom’s French and we lived in Paris at the time) oh I miss those days mom still goes on girls trips with her friends it’s so sweet ❤
FYI the Tower of Terror was not torn down in California, it was just reskinned to be themed as the Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout attraction
yes I should have made it clear
Disneyland in Cali is The Happiest Place on Earth and Disney World is The Most Magical Place on Earth. Disneyland Paris doesn’t have a tagline. Loving the Blackpool videos Tim!
thanks Carly ,more to come
@@WalkWithMeTim I'm from Blackpool and you gave us some Inspo to have a walk around today. Bonney Markets have started being knocked down. You'd like to see the Retro Burger Van now 🤣
You should review all the hotels in Blackpool because they def aren't the best. I've subscribed to your channel because I really enjoy your videos!
Disneyland Paris is my favourite theme park ever!
I went to Disneyland Paris recently and being someone who has autism, it's probably not the best place to go to. For being the happiest place on Earth, I was upset and cried twice, mainly about the stresses of making sure my family were safe and getting back home safely. At least the Marne-de-vallee train is right next door. But if you have anxiety maybe don't go with younger family members
My brownie pack went to Disney Paris in 2001 but I was too young, now I'm grownup without kids, I have more pressing things to spend my money on, but it's wonderful to see what it's like, thank you for showing us around
Now I know what to do while waiting in the queues at Disneyland. Compliment my wife on how she's dressed. What could possibly go wrong?
I used to always say to the kids when we went to flamingo land (North Yorkshire , Kirby misperton) it is always best to go on a rainy day " or overcast day because then there won't be that many people there ; so therefore the queues won't be as long
but looking at this
I think everybody thought the same LOL 🤣😂 , that's why it's busy !
3:35 that hotel is cleaner than some of the british hotels you`ve stayed at.
Crushes coaster is brilliant definitely worth going on and waiting for
Did you know with the castle the windows are smaller at the top giving the illusion it’s taller than it is from a distance 😁
know I do ! lol
its nice to see what my 6 year old and his mum has been doing for the last 3 days. and i feel like with every new video there is more we learn about you. and your family.
I've always said to the kids that if a restaurant is quiet ; it must be then dear !
But if you find a restaurant which is busy " then it is usually , because it's cheap ?
the two of you are rridiculous, i love it
They extended the 30th Anniversary due to popular demand. The only difference is the 2023 version of the 30th is called the "Grand Finale" with more entertainment surprises including the return of Disney Dreams, Avengers: Power the Night drone show at Studios, and Pixar: We Belong Together musical at Studios and more merchandises to come.
The sleeping beauty stained glass windows were beautiful.
Nice video thank you! Disneyland Paris is my home park and I’ve been visiting it since the 90s. Before covid, queues were much much lighter and during weekdays outside of school holidays, everything was 5-10min max. Since the reopening after covid + the 30th anniversary and Avengers Campus opening, I’ve never seen so many people there and as a annual passholder I rarely visit because I know my favorite rides will be at least an hour wait… it’s a shame as I believe the Disneyland park itself is incredibly beautiful and the maintenance quality has improved since Disney are back in control. I hope the crowds will fade after the anniversary!
Im Korean and when I was there in 2016 for two days, it was fully empty and every rides were just stopped and waiting for guests lol. But last month when I got there again, the park was waaaay to busy xD but still, both park were rapidly got empty in the night xD and I really enjoyed 30th Anniversary too!
Great vid Tim and very interesting to see. Now I know not to bother with waiting times that long and worse in summer season. Nice to hear Gabby’s thoughts too.
A really good video Tim, which brought back some great memories. It has changed a lot since I went there around 2008.
The original jules verne space mountain theme from 1995 is rumored to return in 2025 for the ride's anniversary
There are 15 official Avengers though currently only four are active.
There’s around 40 heroes altogether.
Excited to see what this turned out like x
We appreciate how you care and keep up with your fans .Thank you Tim
I appreciate that
Great video Tim you all had a great time, the park has changed since when I went last xx
Well done Tim on another great video! I look forward to your new videos. My girlfriend went here a few hers along she said it hasn't really changed much
Wow, thank you so much for sharing Tim, Gabby , and Casper. That was absolutely AWESOME. 💚
thanks Emma
Hello Tim and Gaby, brilliant video, some rides are so real like the Cars ride,I didn't expect water lol,but the place itself is awesome.
As an idea for you, I'd be interested in seeing some of the "shopping malls" round the country see how they hold up today since some are several decades old now. Trafford Centre springs to mind as still being very popular. I'm sure theres many that are near on ghost towns once the big stores leave them
Bistrot Chez Rémy is the best cafe there. It changed after 2020 but still great and love the ride!
What a brilliant vlog thank you both for showing us around Disneyland Paris my stepdaughter and her friends are going on Monday She has watched it and said thanks for the tips
Great video Tim & Happy Birthday Casper😘😘😁😁
Lovely vlog love a bit of Disney
Another great video! Looks like good fun. Pity about the waiting times but good that you managed to get access to some rides. It’s like another world.
Fab video all of you :) I visited twice last year & am already booked to go again in April :) yay!
Thanks for this great review, having worked on the site back in the old days, it was nice to see the chateau has been renovated.
That was an excellent video i really enjoyed it so much. It was a great tour seeing Disney Land Paris.
Fab disneyland vlog, loved the cars ride, and special effects all around the rudes etc. You enjoyed it by the looks of it, thanks guys till Sunday bye for now,x
Loved watching this vid. Worked there for a summer season so seeing this was fab x
Glad you enjoyed it!
Exited to see another great video and another wonderful journey of yours! Thanks for bringing the world to us!
:-)
Great to see Disneyland again after 18 years, I loved the atmosphere. Thanks Tim
you are welcome thanks for watching Dan
Came here pre covid in 2019. The longest I waited for a ride was a little over an hour
Top vlog Tim, went years ago so enjoyed the memories, looking forward to your Florida vlogs ! There is a line on the Simpsons Ride in Universal at the beginning when Marge thinks she’s going to get run over on a rollercoaster, Homer says “They’ll never kill you in a theme park while you still have a dollar in your pocket”… how true.
Great Vid Tim it was a bit busy for a Monday In January
Love it when i type something in and you pop up haha
We bought food from our hotel to take into the park,it was pricey but not as bad as if we'd bought it on park.
Tim, I love your videos. Taking me to parts of the world that I haven't yet been to. Geep up the great work !
Thanks, will do!
Thanks Tim and GAbby, that video was very helpful for me,my daughter has been many times with my grandchildren before she wants me to go.I can see the attraction but don't think my cup of tea but would probably loved it as a kid.My daughter does always say food was expensive think she got deal with hotel .brilliant video as always.
Well done Tim...regardless of the weather xx
Amazing video! Me and my family love watching your videos 😊
thanks Emily
Another fabulous video tim..Nice to see your baby 👶..looks cute
thanks for the vlog Tim & Gabby, hope your stay there was awesome,,if i was to go to any Disneyland then just gotta save up & get to Disney California ect...*for 1* get better chance good weather ,bigger, & far as i believe all round way better experience & on whats on offer
A really great video….just walking around seeing all the different attractions has been fab. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it
Nice one,love the Gabbster 😉👍
❤️
Visited 2018 and 2019, thankyou for taking me back!
You are welcome
Beautiful theming. I do think the old classic Disney Characters are dying off a bit for more modern characters like Buzz light year etc but he’s getting on a bit, he will be in a care home soon lol.
Glad you enjoyed the trip. Queue times can be over estimated but difficult to judge queue length and time against estimated unless you are a theme park fanatic. Great birthday treat for Thumps who looked totally fascinated.
Absolutely
I’ve been there with my daughters in 2013 , was absolute brilliant ❤
Oh Tim ye of little faith Excalibur does come up from the stone but only occasionally for very special magic people , my OH was one such person and he was thrilled. How great to see people who aren’t Disney buffs enjoying DLP , it brings back the magic , thank you .
I worked there for 7years at the opening and a lot has changed. A lot of us meet up on every 5th anniversary, was there last year for the 30th reunion in April and went back in September for my birthday, nice and quiet since kids were back at school
I loved Disneyland and Disney World when my kids were small. If only you took Casper on “It’s a Small World.” He would have loved that. Best ride in Disney for kids and kids at heart.
Great review. Thanks all for your great video 👍
thanks jo jo
Quite suprised at the long wait times in Winter. We went in July a few years back and the wait times, even for the kids rides, were around 3 hours. Also, hope you took a suitcase full of cash if you went for something to eat here 🤣
Oh yes, totally overpriced!
wow 3 hrs
as magical as it is I’d rather be home than be somewhere waiting for 3 hours
Brilliant video with tonnes of variety.
thanks
Very interesting. Thank you
Another good vblog Tim nice to see Disney land haven't been there yet nice to see you all
Thanks 👍
Thank you Tim.We know this video will be terrific as all of yours are.My family has loved watching your journeys and so look forward to you and gabby showing us England and the world. There are many who see what fantastic human beings you guys are and are grateful for what you do.Thanks so very much.Much love from America and God bless
thanks Tricia
It looks fantastic Tim and Gaby, thanks for sharing it with us. I went to Alton Towers years ago and waited 3 1/2 hours for a ride, then when my group reached the front, the ride broke down! We were given VIP tickets to jump the queue at all other rides - Much to the annoyance of everyone else queuing!
Lol
Been going to alton towers for years and never once seen a wait time of 3.5hrs. Just buy fast pass for the main rides for £8 money well spent imo. We stayed at the tree houses last year and they include fast passes 5 per guest.
looking at going to paris as we have never been before.
25:04 Also reminded me of the River Caves ride in Blackpool Pleasure Beach, when you went around the Ice cave past the restaurant also, (The Gold Mine used to also be in the same cave above you at the same time) but sadly they have closed the roof space of the River Cave ride, and separated all three parts now. Used to be great too, The Gold Mine was closed and is now the Wallace and Gromit ride.
I remember that!
💐👌🏻 Nice Virtual Tour
You can use the single rider line, it's buts shorter and most of the time you still sit toghter!
Surprising how long the queues were for what should be the quietest time of the year. I did wonder if Casper would take it in at his age but from his happy face, he definitely did. Another excellent video.
Good question! tbh we knew he would love the sights and sounds
@@WalkWithMeTim I say his expression 23 minutes and 15 seconds in , make the whole experience worth it
It is a very good travel blog today when you visited Disney land paris on holiday tim and gaby / Casper , Holly aswell
Thanks for sharing Tim! Boy are you taking me back! Blackpool that ride where go through restaurant called Goldmine. Some of the figures used to move. Bless your son taking in the sights, Must be overwhelming all of it. Very expensive all of it when you add things up and the queuing times. At least Gabby is set up for the weather conditions 😘👍🏻
I have a,ways wanted to go to Disney land Paris. So glad you took your fans along for the ride. I love how well maintained and clean these parks are.
Loving your channel so much I just had to subscribe!
Me and my friend recently went to DLP this past October for 3 nights and 4 days and it was absolutely perfect. Even treated ourselves to the Premier access passes they have and it was worth the extra £100 jumping the queues and we made it onto every ride. I don't think I'll be able to do it any other way now 😅
Well done Tim, great video. Brought back memories of when we went back in the 90s 😃
The food was expensive then too
So true!
Wow, it's really changed since I went in the 90s on a works jolly! A lot more has been added, and I particularly liked the spooky, and night themed rides. I'm not a Disney person but I was impressed at the level of detail in some areas. Queue times, and food prices are always over the top - thanks for highlighting that. Great review!
Thanks Nellie, me neither
We’re looking forward to going in a few months-taking my 2 little boys for their first time. Space mountain has changed since I went when I was little. I love Disneyland
Yes it has looks awesome
Oh brilliant this is a surprise Video!😊
Can't wait to find out how you found Disneyland Paris Tim.
I remember my Brother & his family went to Disneyland Paris in about 1991 & it was quite the place to go then!
Be interesting to see what it's like now!
much better? let me know
@@WalkWithMeTim will do! You can count on it Tim😊
Opened 1992.
@@lparky4409thanks for info it was only a guess my Brother must of gone when it first opened around 1992 or 1993 I can't remember exactly I wasn't there.
Hello Tim and gabbie and baby Casper happy birthday for yesterday how are you all love your vidio have a good time in Disney land best wishes take care stay safe xx
23:31 It’s the Little Mermaid Tim!!!!!!!
Actually really helpful video. We are looking forward to visit it in summer.
Glad it was helpful!
Great video! Going end of feb for a 5 days - surprising my 7 year old daughter, hopefully she won’t twig till we get there, which would be truly magical for her.
wow I bet! have fun Clark
Only visited the one in the US some twenty odd years ago, Tim. My kids loved it all the same mind... 👍
Having been to World many times in Florida, and Land in Anaheim, thanks for this vid. I think this vid has dissuaded us from wanting to see this version. Almost doesn't look like Disney at all....very unusual!
Hi Tim Gaby Holly and Casper. Hope you all enjoyed your time at Disneyland Paris. It looked really fun as for me I have never been but now I am to old to go.
Never too old
I've been lucky to visit Disneyland Paris 3 times. I went when it first opened in 1992. I'm glad I went when I was younger, couldn't deal with those queue times...or the prices..now ! I went once in early December in the week & it was much quieter..top tip!
Thanks for sharing!
Sorry a bit late, but thank you so incredibly much for this video. I have always wanted to take a look, but unfortunately i can't, so this is just wonderful. Thank you Tim
Glad I could help!
Yeah your other half is right , its all about the atmosphere of the place .
She is so funny , you are a lucky man.
Thanks for the view my grandchildren would like to go to Disney land thanks again to you all look forward to the next Yvonne 😊
I'll stick w the museums in Paris, thanks.
Been quite a long time since we went, my youngest was 5 now 16. As my son has autism we had a pass for the exits so had minimal wait times, they only allow on carriage with disabled at a time. So we never got to go in that room at the tower of terror, we went straight to the lift shafts.
Gaby is right. Spending the experience waiting for so long to get on the rides would suck the joy out of the whole trip.
I hope in a couple of years when the boy is old enough to truly take in the experience, you head out to Florida. That would be an epic video.
I think I would prefer it too lol
The problem with orlando is, the parks are extremely packed now, and the genie plus side of things, you have to book your time slots and ll through the app, so you spend most of the day in ques and constantly on the app. At least with universal, with an express pass, you don't need to spend the whole day on the app and can just walk into most rides which offer express, which is all but hagrids
I’m so excited I’m going real soon but I’m know it’s going to be packed! I’m hoping to go on some riders if I can
