As French speaker who have been in Disneyland Paris since I was little kid. A few additional best things: The Paris version of *Pirates of the Caribbean* is the best! Aside from the one in Shanghai which ends up being a very different ride, the one in Paris feels the most complete and detailed of the classic we all know and love. Personally, I prefer *It’s a Small World* here as well. It has the same Mary Blaire dolls, but it’s in one giant room where you transition from different scenes by going under thematic bridges, and the sets seem more up to date. It’s not just the *castle* but overall its the prettiest castle-style park Disney has made to date. There’s so many details, you can tell the imagineers put their best into it while designing it for an audience used to castles and with the oldest theme parks in the world. The theming in the different lands here is very well done (the best of them all in my opinion) and the addition of areas where you can find a bit of peace and quiet is very welcomed. The *Disneyland Hotel* is right at the entrance to the park. Currently, it is under refurbishment, but it’s such a great experience being able to get a room overlooking the park. You’re right there. For a slightly formal dining experience, *Walt’s* is really great. The decor has a Victorian theme and the dishes are based on what Walt loved. The best part is that the different dining rooms are themed to the different lands in the park, and as it’s on Main Street, you can get nice views of the parade from your table. 🥰

Nah. It's our French Big Thunder Mountain the best of all I've been in Tokyo and Hongkong one I can tell you, our DLP version is the fastest and longest one Speaking of Phantom Manor, it's the one that looks delapidated and scary. The reason is.....the famed Tony Baxter wanted a better version of Haunted Mansion compared to Tokyo, California and Florida The Perfect definition of Maison Hanté 🏚️
Funny to see an American go completely wild at a Croque Monsieur. It's such a basic food thing here in Belgium and France. You can literally get it everywhere they serve food. In the Netherlands it's a bit less popular and its called 'Tosti' (without the A). There are also other popular variations like Croque Hawaii (a Monsieur with a slice of pineapple) or a Croque Madame (a Monsieur with a fried egg on top of it).
I don’t know how, but you look like spongebob. This isn’t an insult, you just have a SpongeBob vibe to you. It’s weird that a human man is reminding me of SpongeBob
Disneyland Paris is and will always be my childhood! I know this park like the back of my hand and still learnt a few new things from this video! I'm going back in November and I just can't wait to see this beautiful place once again and share it with my young nephews! P.S does anyone know if it is possible to simply go into the Hotel New York to have a drink at the bar or eat at the restaurant if you are not staying there? I am most likely not going to be staying there as my nephews love Cars and there is a Cars themed hotel but I would love to go in just to see the place and be immersed in it!
Hi Want to plan a trip for next year what do you and Amanda recommend Disney Paris or Disney Tokyo first?? Im Dream is to go to all the Disney parks ♥️
Chris, the way you pronounced croque-monsieur (monsieur is pronounced muh-syer) had me cringing and all I had was 2 years of high school French LOL. It translates to Bites Mister. It also looked INCREDIBLE! My daughter is a chef in Portland. I'll have to have her make me one when I go there next time.
I also took high school French and I was wincing. At least the "croque" sounds not bad. But to be fair: "monsieur" has an irregular pronunciation. How do you pronounce monseigneur? You don't say muh-seen-your you say "moN-see-n-your". So phonetically, Chris isn't far off but "monsieur" has irregular pronunciation. Historically, it was two words and the N was pronounced: "mon sieur" ("my sir" in English). So, maybe Chris is just speaking in Old French? :)
@@DoomGoober Leave it to Chris to give me a history lesson on the French language. LOL. I will now go sit in the corner and look for a piece of paper to roll up as a dunce cap for myself.

I’m getting really nervous about us coming from the states after reading so many threads about aggressive and rude guest. I don’t know how we will navigate fireworks and parades after reading how common it is for people to push others, shove their kids in front of you or skip lines. Any tips? Is it really that bad? Any tips for where to stand for fireworks to stay safe from being pushed or trampled on? Thnx
You may have already answered this but my eyesight's not the best so it's hard for me to school now I'm too much. Anyway I was wondering about the comment you need that you have to look backwards and it's the best way to ride. Why? Because I didn't see anything different and I can't feel it? See anything that excited me but also is it just a Paris thing or something that you recommend for all of them my favorite is at our Disneyland and if there's a different way that you can recommend to enjoy it I definitely would try it
They need to bring back Space Mountain Mission 2, Hyperspace mountain is an awful overlay and ruins the land. They struck gold with discoverland and then ruined the whole idea. (Also I'm a massive Star Wars fan, I've consumed every piece of visual Star Wars media there is, and I love all of it, but Hyperspace Mountain makes me mad)
Same. But the Star War theming gives more adrenaline. Feels like more fastest than the original one Ive done Space Mountain Mission 2 so many times like 20 times or more. But it's old now
The main thing that puts me off going to DLP is the audio on rides is in French. Why wouldn't it be but also I don't understand what it's saying. Funny how Grim Grinning Ghosts was in English tho. Is there some kind of translation device available? Sitting backwards on BTMRR is probably a great way to throw your back out.

I can tell you, our DLP version is the fastest and longest one
Speaking of Phantom Manor, it's the one that looks delapidated and scary.
The reason is.....the famed Tony Baxter wanted a better version of Haunted Mansion compared to Tokyo, California and Florida
The Perfect definition of Maison Hanté 🏚️
Funny to see an American go completely wild at a Croque Monsieur. It's such a basic food thing here in Belgium and France. You can literally get it everywhere they serve food. In the Netherlands it's a bit less popular and its called 'Tosti' (without the A). There are also other popular variations like Croque Hawaii (a Monsieur with a slice of pineapple) or a Croque Madame (a Monsieur with a fried egg on top of it).
Amazing thank you Provost park Pass
Phantom Manor looks like the Pscho house.😬
Absolutely you can go into any of the hotels, for drinks or food. Be aware you may have to book one of the restaurants to guarantee eating there.
When you where talking about space mountain slow down next time please it would be great
Hi Want to plan a trip for next year what do you and Amanda recommend Disney Paris or Disney Tokyo first??
Looks fun...I would have to find something else for #5 as I don't eat animal products. Big Thunder looks crazy 🥴
did you take an iv shot of the espresso
You are cool 😎
I say this all the time if you're going to any type of attraction you're going to go and have fun not to go eat
You need to make a video Amanda to buying the whole Disneyland park and cladding Walt Disney World too and California adventure and downtown Disney thank you so much bye
The last time I was back in 1991, or if you prefer pre-Disney!
For me I'd prefer the early the early 2000's 🇨🇵
I can't wait to go to Disneyland Paris! But next time, please try to pronounce the French words correctly!
Hello good Sir
See anything that excited me but also is it just a Paris thing or something that you recommend for all of them my favorite is at our Disneyland and if there's a different way that you can recommend to enjoy it I definitely would try it
What about Tokyo?
They need to bring back Space Mountain Mission 2, Hyperspace mountain is an awful overlay and ruins the land. They struck gold with discoverland and then ruined the whole idea. (Also I'm a massive Star Wars fan, I've consumed every piece of visual Star Wars media there is, and I love all of it, but Hyperspace Mountain makes me mad)
Same. But the Star War theming gives more adrenaline. Feels like more fastest than the original one
Ive done Space Mountain Mission 2 so many times like 20 times or more.
But it's old now
Agreed 😢
Im Irish so basically I have cheese toastys all the time weird you’ve never tried one
Did your family go to Disneyland Paris with you?
