Old style Snorkel vs New style 🤔

Old style snorkeling equipment vs the new design, which is better.
My family and I recently tested both designs over a week of snorkeling.
We unanimously agree that the old style is far superior!
Old style snorkeling gear pros
1. Breathes way better
2. Much lighter
3. Less drag under water.
4. Less prone to failure.
5. Easier to travel with.
6. You can dive much much deeper.
7. Interchange parts.
8. Lens more scratch resistant.
Cons
1. Might be initially less comfortable for some.
New style Snorkeling gear pros
1. Very good visibility, when new.
2. Lens almost never fogs.
3. Can talk will swimming.
4. Completely, separates face from water.
Cons
1. Heavy, Big and hard to pack in luggage.
2. A leak can affect your vision and ability to breath
3. Very difficult to dive with.
4. Lens scratches very easy.
5. Many potential failure points.
