Hi all, thanks to the amazing peeps who helped to clarify that my J'adore L'or is actually a 2010 not 2017! My brain refuses to believe there is no ylang in there though LOL 🙏
I really don’t like ylang ylang and do love my bottle of L’Or, so I do believe it 😂

I agree about Coco mademoiselle. It's a very good scent but I just didn't enjoy wearing it and I i had the intense version which is more vanillic. I did recently try the oil version and I really enjoy that one. It's much softer.
Happy New Year to you! Love your discoveries, as always. In fact, I've bee contemplating 2 from your line up for a while now - French Flower and Micallef Pure Extreme. I found that there's another version of the Pure Extreme - Pure Extreme Nectar. Would like to know which one you tried.
Mine was not the nectar but I did see that on their website and was curious too!
Happy New Year Cherie! I’m having a moment with Iris/Orris right now… Molecules 01+Iris and Oriris Tatoo by Parle moi de parfum are top shelf right now. Not too powdery but lipsticky enough for my taste. I want all my sleepwear to smell like that! 😂😂 Any good suggestions with a similar vibe?
I really must try that Molecule + Iris! Orris tattoo is fantastic, I did pick up a bottle of that last year, I haven’t spoken about it yet though 😬❤️

The good thing about the "extreme" line of M. Micallef is that they are not that expensive, they are less expensive that many designer releases. I love mine.

Pure extreme is the best I tried from Micallef and I tried almost them all 😅 and I usually I am not a big fan of that profile ❤

Hi! I’m sorry I missed this. I haven’t tried the extrait, I have the edt and don’t enjoy that on my skin but quite like it spritzed in the air. Did you end up getting it?

No, it’s not 2017, you’ve got J’adore L’Or 2010 version, also by Demachy.🌹
I have all 3 versions of J’adore L’Or and this one(2010) is my favourite one.
Thanks! Yes someone else also commented. I just went off what the seller said but also when I went looking I couldn’t tell the difference between the bottle for 2010 and 2017. Weirdly, I feel like the note profile is very similar I get yellow and white florals! A little rose too, yes but I always just thought that was part of the vintagey base. Would be keen to get your thoughts on how they compare 😃

Agree the tuberose by matiere premiere needs to be tested. If you like green waxy tuberose you can test Tuberose by Le Couvent by Ellena. I used to use it, now I cannot take it anymore. So green verging n a fig note 😊 and I love fig but now it’s too much for me

This is 2010 version of lor. 2017 has a wavy neck
I was wondering about that! I was convinced it was the 2017 because of how it smells to me. I couldn’t tell the difference between the bottles!
