In this video I am printing a 3 color simulated process halftone printing on a black t-shirt. I am using plastisol ink.

Hello. How do you apply half tone on certain part of a design or color. Like for the green one I noticed that not all part of the color or design is on half tone, only a portion of it. Thanks

Hello great work! a quick question. is it possible to screen print a realistic photo with the full colors? like DTG or does it always have to be half tone? thank you
Yes we can print realistic image. Halftone are pixels to creates the mix of colors. DTG images are printed using halftones which are not visible because the pixel resolutions are higher. In screen printing it will be little visible. But that’s the beauty about screen printing. But in short we can print any image using screen printing.

Do you use a conveyor dryer or do you use a heat press to fully cure your ink?
We are using heat press. We r upgrading to conveyor dryer soon. Would recommend conveyor only if you have high volume prints per day. As it uses more energy and space.

What type of ink do you use?
We used Plastisol ink for this video. However we recommend water base ink as it is good for the environment. We will post videos on water base ink soon.
