Decent video, if I have to add something it would be to tell your listeners to sit and wait a minimum of 5 minutes before taking the blood pressure. Your body needs time to equilibrate positioning/movement of walking in, sitting, putting the cuff on your arm before doing the measurement. Not like at most doctor officers or ER's. Drive in traffic, walk in, sit, answer question all while they are talking your pressure. Oh, dont have a full bladder either. Yes, all these things give false high readings. Cuff size is also extremely important, especially if your arm is very thin or very large. BP can fluctuate minute to minute. (retired ER nurse, RN). And yes, BP cuffs can be very inaccurate, but if you correlate with doctor visits you can get pretty good trends. But you do get what you pay for. I recently bought an expensive clinically validated auto BP cuff because I do have high BP and bad ears and was having issues with my manual readings.

Can you put a link to the BP cuff please. I've looked at a few and not sure which one to buy.

I'm unsubscribing if you can't be bothered answering one simple question.

Anyone know if there’s any difference between the green and the white version other than the white version has the ecg? I already have an ecg that works with Apple health using my Apple Watch. Thanks!

While I applaud you for showing new heath tech, No at home BP machine is ever going to be accurate. They are notoriously incorrect. Even the ones that hospitals use are not accurate. The best way to take one’s BP is the old school way: Cuff and stethoscope. It’s easy to learn to do and the equipment should last a lifetime.

Thank you, i think the same could be said for pretty much every piece of home health tech available. My wife's a paramedic and we've tested this extensively and it's pretty close to here manual measurement. If you're taking a number of measurements each day it will give you a reasonable idea of your BP health. All this stuff is to be used as a guide and it's very convenient.
