War of the Worlds (2005) - "Camelot" scene reconstruction.

The deleted scene quite simply known as "Camelot" takes place between the ferry sequence and the hill battle sequence.
Ferrier and his children are passing through a deserted housing estate and witness a battalion of tripods marching through nearby. The trio have an extreme close encounter with one tripod and shelter behind an SUV as they helplessly watch the tripod pull people out of a building next to them with its tentacles. There could be more happening in this scene/sequence than what has been shown however.
The scene was fully (or almost) finished with VFX and all but was cut out in the final weeks of the film's post production. As we all know, the scene was never released in an extended/directors cut version of the film. Only a handful of images of concept art, pre-visualizations and set photos of the scene exist.
