- Hi I'm xeno1237, and along with TheRealJoe, we are striving to recreate the cut "Camelot" scene in it's entirely to the best of our abilities. Thanks to my friend Pixltripod we have an amazing tripod model and this wouldn't be possible without him. This is a fan project not associated with Paramount Pictures, Universal Studios, and DreamWorks.

IF spielberg were to Re-Release the movie with this scene, i would watch it another 10 times with no hesitation, still, you guys are giving your hearts doing this, can't wait to see it finished, amazing job!

0:57 You can see the tripod almost nudge itself in what could best be described as a "huh?" movement, like something caught its attention. You guys are putting so much detail into this, I cant wait to see the final outcome.

Why didn’t they add this sence to the movie
It's "scene" and they removed it for pacing issues..
Spielberg was getting tired of the project, he HATED war of worlds but It was too late to call back the producing

some say that he was tired of working on the project, and others say that it was just a provisional idea, but there are others who say that this would be one of the most terrifying scenes, where the Tripod would pull people out of a building by force, and some would already be "consumed" immediately. So you can understand why it was removed.
