some say that he was tired of working on the project, and others say that it was just a provisional idea, but there are others who say that this would be one of the most terrifying scenes, where the Tripod would pull people out of a building by force, and some would already be "consumed" immediately. So you can understand why it was removed.
I think the most frustrating thing is that they FILMED THIS SCENE IN FULL. it was cut from the movie for whatever reason, that’s fine. But at least add it to deleted scenes on the menu, directors cut. I mean, just release the damn scene already.
