The Hornet actually did very on the grass. Cool to see how different it was in the sand.. Second course was a good one. This was actually a very good David and Goliath matchup lol

thanks mate . yeah it’s torque tuned but it just loves thick sand and handles very linear . the hornet apparently doesn’t 😂👍

Yeah, as expected, the big one crushed the little one here! But the buggy did well on the grass, you were able to keep full throttle all way round, where with the monster truck you needed to take it easy in the corners... It was a nice match, exciting as always, buddy!

Great head to head Dom. I saw in the poll when I voted the Hornet was the favorite but I thought the MB had it in him to win! More controllable and stable over the bumpy stuff really helped out. The Hornet is a fun buggy but the twitchy rear end can make it a fight to stay going where you want it to!

Nice comparison. I polled (is that the right word) for the Beetle. The ORV is definitively the better chassis. And the big wheels're a big advantage on this loose ground.

Hornet looks tiny in comparison! I like Monster trucks as you can take them pretty much anywhere. 👍🏻

Ah interesting contest Dom. I think that the MB has a better chassis and the big tyres let it ride over the sand. Too much bounce on the little Hornet and I think I saw some tail dragging 🤣 Great stuff mate 😁

The hornet was always going to struggle in the deep sand against the large wheels of the monster beetle.Have you had any problems with the gearbox on the monster beetle and are you going to get the novafox out again.

hi mate and thanks for watching . i have the mip diff installed on the monster beetle. talking of problem gearboxes .. my novafox is completely broken. if i run it again it will be a new one. sorry buddy

you should . i have those two and they are all very different chassis and the MB just looks so nice . can be fragile around the gearbox … well worth researching thst before committing but i love the monster beetle 😊👍
