I still love my grasshopper I bought in 89'. It started me out . Now I've got to share the hobby with my sons. Almost as good as fishing and cliff jumping 😂
My neighbor had a grasshopper back in 1990. That sucker was tough. put my Kysho Big Brute to sham. Lol
Black foot was always my favorite. Along with grasshopper and monster beetle 💪🏻🔥💯

Lunchbox was my first, back in the days. I definitely need to by one. Memories.
My first hobby grade Rc was a Kyosho Pegasus back in 1985, lol. I have a 1980s Clodbuster I rebuilt, Grasshopper, Optima, and Tomahawk.

I’ve a little brushless system in mine with the rear diff shimmed and it’s been running at 23mph with no issues… any faster is unstable and things break

They still make those we just put electronics in it but you'll never have ball bearings in any of them.

Believe it or not they improve the gearbox.
