Do a wet test.... squirt oil in the cyclinder and if it raises compression then its rings.... it if does not raise compression it is just valve or gasket related.

I had that fuel problem on my JD with a mower deck. I put a little air pressure (5psi) to the fuel tank and primed the fuel pump and once it had fuel in it pumped fine. Bring the engine up to temp and see if the compression comes up. Great video Steve!

With a coilnut has points most likely and by the looks under the air cleaner lots needs cleaned. Sounds great turning over. Theres two fuel filters in the tank. Just search online for things. I ran all new line.

just a few thoughts I would share. The fuel pump works from the pulse created when the pistons go back and forth. The crankcase needs to be sealed for the fuel pump to work, that is to say that things like the dipstick must be in the engine and the seal on the dipstick intact. The reed valves in the fuel pump should seal their openings. If they bypass, there won't be much fuel pressure. I suggest that you check the fuel flow coming from the tank, sometimes the outlet from the tank can get restricted. Also a pressure gage can be put on the hose coming out of the fuel pump. You should have at least 1 psi of pressure.
IF you can get it to run a bit those valves can come back and reseat better.
I’d try running it for a bit and check the compression again could just be some smag that has to get burned off.

If it was me I would try to save it if they could I had a 420 it was a good fun tractor had a high-speed road gear in it I bet she would go 30 miles an hour anyway do the best you can with what you got and enjoy doing it like your videos take care

The 20hp onans were known to have their problems... I don't know what changed from the 18hp in the 318 to the 20hp in the 420. My old 420 eventually suffered the same fate. Unsure why.
could be the seat switch if you dont sit in it the seat sw won't work........if it has one
those onan engines were good engines but there out of business now bought out by cummins parts are hard to get

The Onan/Linmar engines have a habit of fouling up with carbon.. Clean it and that compression should come up substantially.

Hey Steve had a new system put in furnace and condenser but now I can't feel any airflow threw the vents but prior to that there was a ton of air flow I was told that it is a much energy efficient unit and that is normal but I call it a shit show what's up with it it is a goodman everything 3 ton gas furnace
Ecm and modulating blower motors "act" a bit different then an old PSC motor. Did you go from an 80 percent to a 90 percent efficiency furnace?
