Surprised Steve trusts people to shut off the power. I worked at McD's when in high school. One day the ice machine broke down. The electrician showed up and believed the manager that the power was off to the machine. ZZAAPP! Nope, power was not off.
What a nice picturesque New England drive down the road to get to the house. Compressor not sounding great after the new cap, or maybe that's just how the microphone picks it up.
Hey Steve, I'm a bit of a tool guy and was curious. Where did you purchase your nut drivers? And what brand are they? You seem to have all three the study, the standard, and extended reach. Do they do both 5/16 and 1/4 inch. Love the program keep up the great work
A lot of older units do not have low or high pressure switches. But compressors have an internal relief that opens if the head pressure gets too high. It usually makes a squealing or hissing when open.
@@davidnorton5887 You don't want to rely on it. Because it can get stuck open and the compressor will need to be replaced. If it gets stuck open the pressures will be equalized.
I thoroughly enjoy the trips to the truck to rummage through the capacitors, finding the right one for each job.
Yep ASMR
Over 40 years of experience. Steve has seen it all. Great job. 👍

you can get those at most plumbing or electrical supply houses. it is a 1/4 and 5/16 magnetic head that you just flip to the size you need
I sure would of looked at the compressor make sure the cap was right
Don't these systems have a temp/pressure switch that shuts it down if head pressure or compressor temperature gets too high?

@@hvacguy84 Thanks for the explanation.
