The "build ships for 10k men!" was actually meant to be "build ships for 100k men!"
10k was a mistranslation in that chapter.
Finally someone clarified.
Yeah sawyer had learned of this before, and whereas 10k is a stretch but feasible. Sawyer mentions the last few hundreds to meet 10k can be filled with strawhat alliance members.. . But 100k joining just seems super unlikely, and it being 100k just makes it hyperbole whereas 10k can be taken as foreshadowing (which is more interesting, narratively)
Regardless i hope the mass number of ships is used in an interesting manner, wether they get enough ppl to fill them or not.

Two things
1st if you look at the map he's only destroying Bridges around Udon that's forcing the Rebellion to have to go through the Flower Capital just so they can get anywhere. the ones in Ringo can't go to Hakumai they have to go through the Flower Capital. The ones in Kuri can't go straight to udon they have to go to Kibi and they can't go from Kibi to Udon that bridge is destroyed so they have to go to the Flower Capital then Udon. So no matter what, if the resistance wants to go to Udon they have to go through the Flower Capital first. which a group of 4000 men will we spotted rather easily
2nd there has to be a third entrance into wano because if you go up the waterfall you'll get Smackdown by King, if you go through the tunnel and then straight up through the elevator you'll end up in Hakumai region and yet both Luffy and big mom went under the water and ended up on the beach of kuri not Hakumai on so there must be a third way in

To all the people that have said Oda keeps trolling with silhouettes, let me explain: He's been building up Oden giving him a great deal of clout so to speak and notoriety i.e. Member of Whitebeard, Roger pirates and the only man to ever wound kaido. Not to mention the level of respect that's thrown around when his name is spoken of is to the level of dare I say shanks. Even the WGs Sengoku and Akainu seem to have respect for him all this with the air of mystery to how he looks will come to ahead when next week we see how this legend looks. Although I will say the overuse of the Oden silhouette could have been just as effective with words spoken about him in most cases it still does a fair share of hype that leaves me excited for this TRAGEDY portion aka Act 3

ei05056 yes Mihawk is stronger than Shanks since shanks isn’t the WSS. Haki is fairgame in swordsmanship and shanks IS a swordsman based on everything we’ve seen from him.

Color spread for chapter 310 shows Luffy wearing the exact same armor as in this chapter. And yes, it even has the Kozuki crest on it and the sword sheathe designs. Oda's been planning to use this armor in the story for over 15 years!!!!

There is no traitor. Orochi basically doesnt really care if it's a rumour or not, he has the power to do what just did in this chapter and doesn't back down cuz of gossip from his subordinates. Orochi is a paranoid frikker but one with a brain.

We saw that Luffy got really mad with Orochi so he most likely betrayed Oden, but althought they know the stoey we only saw their reaction.

Kidd and Franky could build bridges easily. Franky and Ussop were probably already at the sunny repairing it when the cave was blown up. The fleet probably already left and orchi blew up the extra ships they made. The only one we know who could create those storms at the harbor is Nami. Some sort of battle probably took place there before the scabbards got there
They should put one piece anime on hiatus and give us a good season instead of this long dragged, extended, filled 20 mins thing(I won't call it an episode)...Hate the anime....LOVE THE MANGA

During Urashima vs Luffy fight, they just showed Luffy balancing for about 10s..This happens frequently with most of the characters in some way...I agree that the animation is phenomenal but pacing makes the whole thing bad

About the oportunity of the Sunny destruction and upgrade, I agree, Franky could already make two more spots for Jimbe and Carrot.
If the reason Wano has been isolated is for poneglyph reasons we MIGHT find out what the poneglyph surrounded by dolls that Brook found more or less says. Because like how Cobra knew what was on the poneglyph in Alabasta, Oden might know what's on the Wano poneglyph and never got the chance to pass that information on to Momonosuke. Super secret story impacting mysteries literally set in stone.

Franky made a decoy ship
Law could be the "traitor" still. but more along the lines of feeding the right information by setting up orochi to make it easier for the alliance to fight back. like you said orochi destroying those bridges makes it hard to deploy his 30,000 men. the only bridge left is the one they used to get to the port and sail to onigashima. the alliance could hold that pass/bridge 300 style especially in a moonlit night.
to be honest, 4200 vs 40,000 is a struggle unless we see some massive kings haki out of luffy and kid. but big mom and kaido have kings haki too. for the alliance to protect their forces from big mom and kaido they cant be on the same field. so while orochi and kaido are in onigashima , the alliance needs to attack the capital. orochi and kaido send their armies back and they meet the alliance where they are dug in with terrain advantage and the full moon. then separated from their armies the scabbards and the strawhats hit onigashima where the bosses are.
There has to be a reason oda saw it fit to connect 4 of the most powerful dudes in the verse, past and present, to this one man oden. If Roger, Whitebeard, and shanks took an interest in him and Kaido was the one to end him, his flashback is gonna go crazy.
Things to look forward to in the flashback: the Roger pirates, Whitebeard pirates, and then the Rocks pirates.
I don’t know if anyone has said and they probably have but I just feel like oden is just gonna look like an older version/mix of momonosuke and hiyori.
If you go back to chapter 310, you'll see Luffy wearing the same armor that he's wearing now.
The only person not restricted to the bridges being destroyed is law who could be the spy and gave away the plan on purpose Bc he knows he could move the alliance around easily while cutting off any enemy reinforcements
when Zoro said Enma it reminded me of how Naruto would say "Kurama" and go all out or Sasuke: "Sharingan"

I got Goa kingdom vibes outta this chapter. Here is a RULER trying to blow up his precised locations via his secret spy. While Luffy n crew have to deal with or prevent the out comes of certain moments.
What if there actually is no traiter but a decoy plot in play to keep Orochi unalert. Would be a nice tool to build up e. g. Namis strategic capabilities. Have here create a Sunny mirage and plant half the (not even needed) ships for Orochi to destroy.

The explosion was Franky turning their bombs against them. We see Franky leaving the area where the boats are getting rebuilt and there is only 1 place for him to be heading so he was definitely at the ship. Each and everytime he is given free time before a conflict you will find him at the ship.
(When they got back after the time skip he was the first one back and made a beeline to the ship and met Kuma, when the chaos calmed down on Fishman Island he went to the ship and met Tom's brother and on Punk Hazard when they were all captured and escaped he went back to the ship where he fought Baby 5 and spinny dude)

Also to be frank, I understand you have to set up the big conflict, but it’s beginning to drag imo. I’m starting to just click through chapters like this more quickly than usual. And the flashback will probably be more of the same.
I think that Wano is closed off because they are the ones who aided the 'D' clan members during the void century.
And Oda is still teasing us with Oden's silhouette.
not all bridges were destroyed. The flower capital ones are okay and as usual most of the officials are there (Probably planning a Trap !) .
Jinbe would be super helpful in raising up the sunny from the bottom of the sea after the battle.
