Well, honestly, I wondered this too, but would have never dared ask. It is non of my business! Momma raised me right! Tim, thank you for your service. And you are an inspiration to our wounded warriors, coming back home. That life is what you make it!
You two are amazing people and God bless your family. My 96yo Grandmother introduced me to your show. I found your UA-cam channel and just subscribed. 🙏🏻❤🕊
Ever since I was a child, my father, an avid sportsman and Kentuckian, admired you more any hardly any other man. He would near religiously plan for and watch your Kentucky Afield show every week. He often would boast about your overcoming from the disability of your accident, and light up from all the great advice and information you gave him. He would drag me to conventions to watch you speak; and we've all met 2-3 times in life. I believe your exposure even allowed him to "retire" from compound to crossbow after he had a hand accident. While I never caught the sportsman bug, I understand its importance and admire the lifestyle and the joy it brings my family. I always was in the kitchen with my grandmother growing up, learning the joy of cooking. Now that I have found your UA-cam channel, your content fits with me at the same time of my life as my father did a generation ago. Thank you Tim. You make this Kentucky family proud
Tim I really appreciate you coming out and sharing this story with us folks who've only been with you for a few years. You certainly didn't have to, but it's straightened me out and made me realize that my judgements of another person without truly knowing what they've been through is a poor and baseless way of looking at things. Thank you.
Even though I lived in California at the time, I still watched Kentucky Afield. You were a great host and there was always something interesting or fun in every episode. When I took up hunting, it was the Kentucky Afield UA-cam channel where I learned how to field dress a deer.
Tim you are an inspiration to us all! There is another UA-camr,The harness farmer who makes us all See We place limits on Ourselves. My father always said don’t worry about what you don’t have….concentrate on what you Have ,God has blessed you! Keep up the good work, you have made difference in my life.
That’s inspirational when your down to get up and thrive! I know what it feels like being in recovery many times for major injuries and years of laid up in bed
I have been lucky enough to meet numerous persons in my life with stories similar to yours. My father-in-law enlisted at 17 between the wars and picked up a dud mortar round. Blew off 2 fingers and mangled his right hand. Later he taught himself to play golf, was a motorcycle officer in the 1940s. Some people show an uncanny ability to adapt and to live their life and refuse to whine and quit. People like that are an inspiration to the rest of us! Keep it up!
As I grow older, I reflect on the events and people that have impacted my life. Tim, I've been watching you since I was a young man back in the 90's. I realize we'll most likely never meet but from a born Kentuckian, I thank you for your service to our country and the state. I now live in Alaska on Kodiak but I do miss late season squirrel hunting when the leaves are off the trees....
We're so glad to have found this channel. Your voice is very soothing, the first time we heard it and thought that you might be a professional host or a disc jockey by profession. Thank you for sharing your life story. What an inspiring story of perseverance and hope, indeed! It is something we can all learn from. Thank you for your service. 🇺🇸💖😃
