The hotel prices kill it...but honestly prices for tix on the secondary market are dropping like flies ...it is possible to go on a bit of a budget IF you're willing to camp instead of getting a room
Flying over from Sydney Australia.... seated floor tickets... flights and accommodation for 3 days has set us back 10K .... my wife surprised me for my 50th... it is what it is cause it's a one of event!!! So so so so pumped!

Fly into Ontario Airport grab a rent a car then drive 22 Mi East to Redlands and get a cheap hotel like a Hampton or Hilton Express and from Redlands Drive 59 miles to Coachella you're looking at an hour to an hour and a half drive from Redlands to Coachella. But if you ask me it's not worth it especially in the summer heat
I stand by my original comment on your other video on Power Trip. Unfortunately I think this is going to be a massive embarrassment for all the bands and organisers. Rod is usually a really astute manager, he knows exactly where, how many and for how much Maiden can sell, but I think he really dropped a bollock on this one. It's a shame. I think there must have been some really convincing words from Power Trip management to get them to play. Not just from the Maiden camp either, the other bands too. I think they've completely overestimated the amount of money metal heads are prepared to pay, even with this lineup. Looking at the Desert Trip prices from a few years ago, it was CHEAPER than this and with a more mainstream audience pull. I just hope it goes well and doesn't end up like Fyre Fest! I would assume Maiden will be paid regardless and I think it's fair to say the money we are talking about is eye watering, probably the only way of getting this bill was to offer ludicrous fees, hence the high ticket price, metal tends to be working class and not affected as much as other genres with influencers or FOMO, the truth of the matter is with the exception of DC you've been able to see all the rest of these bands post covid and for a lot less money, has Rod dropped a b*llock, not imo

Several of the camping options are sold out. This is SoCal,bro, a few grand for three days of fun in Palm Springs isn't a big deal. Tickets are still available so it obviously didn't sell as hoped but the idea that this could fail is ridiculous.

I love iron maiden but I wouldn’t pay that for a show I’ve already seen because maiden been maiden probably won’t change the Setlist from earlier this year so basically you would be paying over 6000 dollars for the same show it would be more for me coming from the UK and I am a Yorkshire Man so we Yorkshire people are tied fisted buggers hopefully they will steam it
Most bands there are OVER the hill Metallica will no doubt have the best performance they are still on top of there game definitely can't say that for the others Maiden old and they sound it same with AcDc
Go to Vancouver, Calgary or Edmonton for Maiden. It will cost you 800$ for everything. I saw every band on this bill and many a shitload of times. This festival is stupid.
It's a giant money grab by thr promoters aimed at the same clowns that paid this type of $ to go to their last festival. Maiden is the only band(ok, and Priest) on the bill thats worth seeing, and I say that without bias. Have you heard Axl Rose lately? And Motley??? Stop it.
this festival is such a joke. Mostly seating at a festival? Or at a rockshow for that matter, that must be an american thing. Designated seating at a festival? no way. But then again: 2 bands per day is not a festival. At a festival, you have bands playing for most of the day. Not just two.

They can take more than 2 shows per day. This "festival" is made for people who don't usually go to concerts or festivals but only want to see a few legendary bands. Preferably while sitting on their fat ass. Thats why most of the venue is seated, with a small standing area at the front and another one all the way at the back.

If i would have that kind of money to spend, i would rather buy tickets to all the canada dates, bring the family, book some nice hotels.

Almost $7000 to see six bands is an awful lot of money. Hotel establishments will always up their prices to ridiculous amounts for events like this.

This is a show made for an older crowd. Think 40+, Maybe 50-60 average. That's why it's just 2 bands per day.
