  • On January 18th, 2024, a school resource officer in Ohio requested backup to a situation at a local school where a suspect was reported for violating a protection order. Earlier that week, the principal had received a complaint from a concerned parent who spotted the suspect dropping a child off at the school. Officers reviewed footage of the suspect at the school earlier that week, confirming she had been violating the protection order. In the early hours of the morning, the officer located the suspect inside her vehicle, who initially refused to stop and talk with the officer, stating she was calling her attorney before driving away.
The officer followed the suspect in his vehicle, where the suspect stopped and refused to exit her vehicle despite multiple commands. The situation escalated quickly, with the officers employing the placement of stop sticks under the vehicle's tires. The confrontation continued to escalate as the suspect resisted arrest, kicking at an officer as he attempted to remove her from the vehicle. Despite the officers' attempts to de-escalate, the suspect continued to shout and refuse to cooperate, leading to the deployment of an officer’s taser.
The struggle persisted on the ground, with the suspect refusing to release her hand before eventually placing her securely in handcuffs. After finally being securely detained and placed into a patrol car, the suspect was taken into custody and later evaluated by medical personnel. The suspect did not report any injuries and was cleared by medical personnel. The suspect was charged with Violation of a Protection Order, Assault, Failure to Comply with the Order or Signal of a Police Officer, Resisting Arrest, Obstructing Official Business, & Disorderly Conduct.

Which is exactly why the pro-life argument of "there's always adoption" is complete bullshit. Some of the worst people become foster parents for the money or the access to children. My best friend was abused by a marine and his wife who were foster parents to her and her sister. They then got moved to another family in another city. While this family is known for adopting older kids and special needs kids, they only love you when you're useful to them. When my friend turned 18 and wanted to go to college, they refused to help her and left her on her own. She has had to fight her whole life and gone through so much that children shouldn't ever have to go through. She had a series of terrible relationships and abuse and cheating because she wanted to be wanted and loved and never knew what it actually looked like. And she is considered one of the better results coming out of the faster care system and adoption. It's a TERRIBLE system and I wouldn't ever put children through it if there were any other option.

This woman was far past a no trespass order, she had an order of protection which means she posed a threat to someone. She ignored that order and blatantly violated it for months. She refused a request to pull over so that traffic could get through. She thumbed her nose at a lawful request to step out of the car. She had to be tased and dragged out kicking and screaming. She fought with police and did not care how many children heard her unwarranted distressful calls for help. She obstructed a legitimate police investigation. She resisted arrest and had to be cuffed. And she was screaming and yelling and making demands in front of everyone present. And before the camera starts rolling she drove away from the first request to pull over. And who knows how many children she terrified with her behaviour. She shows absolutely no respect for authority, for the police, or for the school. And yet she’s supposed to be setting a good example for a foster child. And I’m only halfway through the video.

While reviewing footage they in fact saw her with the child dropping off/picking up. They never said she’d been trespassed and not allowed on the property.. It was strictly a protection order.
