Resisting Gone Wrong: Kids Cry as She Calls 911 - Mom’s Traffic Stop Escalates!

- On November 26th, 2023, an officer in Ohio observed a vehicle reversing in the middle of a road, then heading east while the driver appeared to be using a cell phone. The vehicle changed lanes without signaling and was clocked at 46 mph in a 35 mph zone. After initiating a traffic stop, the officer approached the driver, who was holding a cell phone and refused to comply with requests for her driver's license. The driver began recording the officer, asked for a chief to respond, and continued to refuse to provide identification.
Despite multiple orders to exit the vehicle, the driver refused and called 911 to request the presence of the chief and sheriff. Additional officers arrived on the scene, and after repeated warnings, the officers informed the driver that she was under arrest for obstructing official business. They then physically removed her from the vehicle and placed her in handcuffs. The driver requested medical attention for minor injuries and was transported to a hospital while refusing to cooperate further with the officers. The suspect had her two children in the backseat, who were later released into a family member’s custody.
During the vehicle's impoundment, officers found a loaded firearm in the glovebox. The weapon was secured for safekeeping. The suspect was charged with Obstructing Official Business and was issued citations for Operating a Motor Vehicle Without a Valid License, Signals Before Changing, and Speeding.

The other day I watched a pregnant woman being nicely walked to the back of a police car (because she got into a fistfight with someone) and they didn't cuff her because they were being polite. Right when they open the car door she takes off running, they catch her pretty quickly and there's four officers trying to cuff her (gently I might add). This woman starts screaming "throw me on my stomach so I can sue you!" and then she throws her stomach up against the car and starts laughing about all the money she's gonna get. It was the most sickening shit I've ever seen.

If there's no visible injury or illness, the officer should have the discretion to take them to the jail for medical assistance instead of tying up fire/EMS time on obviously fake or superficial injuries. How ignorant can some people be? She was told numerous times why she was pulled over, she was told numerous times to exit the vehicle, and wonders why she was pulled out. And if a medic is requested, she should have to pay the charges. And pay the charges for ambulance, hospital charges
I heard once that if they get taken to the hospital before the station, they have to pay, but if they get checked out after they already go to the station, the police department pays for it. Could be different in different states or wrong altogether though.

@@notalysha No, once you’ve been arrested you’re in police custody and you don’t have to pay anything whether you’ve been to the station or not no matter what state you’re in. The only difference is some states won’t take you at all unless it’s something major because they have a nurse or medical personnel at the jail.

Call an ambulance for scraped knees is downright abuse. Paramedics are leaving the profession in droves due to nonsense like this. Call all these resources for a scraped knee while someone is having a major medical emergency elsewhere is criminal.
