Now today seeing some crappy game vids labeled wrongly as TL2 🙄. Maybe the beginning of the end of following this channel.
Very early on in this video someone in chat asks if you've ever dreamed you were playing d2 because you've played so much. For me, I don't think I've dreamt of being in a d2 game even though I probably have 10x the playing time in d2 .... but I can recall dozens of nightmare-ish dreams about being inside a diablo 1 dungeon. Haven't had any of those in maybe a dozen years though ... those were some pretty awesome dreams though because of the way your mind can just make up stuff on the fly. So many insane monsters and dungeon designs from those dreams. And every once in a while I'd see an insane item, too ... but mostly it was just running for dear life from cavern to cavern trying to dodge the hellish hordes: still nothing that I've played comes even close to the atmosphere of d1 ... Fun times. Edit: one really helpful thing d2 is missing is the ability to downgrade runes. You can combine them to up them but no downgrading...
They just want you to grind more. Downgrading runes will lessen your grinding time. Same goes with limited stash sizs. Dont worry. You can always cheat your way into it.
You are underestimating the amount of effort that goes into designing and building a game. It took me about 5 years of effort until I could make a living off my multiplayer game, and it's nowhere near finished. Even if you hired only a programmer, an artist and a sound designer you'd still be looking at 7 figures. That's because you need good people, and good people cost money. You could also make a deal and share revenue with the developer team or something similar. Oh yeah, if it's going to be a multiplayer game then that will easily double the required effort. At least you have the marketing part down, as having some modicum of celebrity really helps. Good luck. I hope you manage to grow the project over time.
Just a suggestion for the LlamaRPG. I would love a new game to take a page out of the old Sierra playbook. Skills get better by using them. If you want a high powered fireball, go out to the woods and cast at a tree for hours. I really miss that experience from doing in newer games.
That is not something I would enjoy... too much macroing involved for that. I can't remember what games used that, but macroers abused those systems to no end.
MrLLama, do you have an answer for this possibly? I cant get ahold of blizz support, their automated system keeps just bringing me to a sorry we cant do anything screen instead of opening the live chat. in offline play the game froze after the cinematic from beating baal. When i reopened the game all my GG charms were gone on my toon. I had put them on the ground to get all the loot, picked them back up and put them in my stash for my next toon. But after the freeze the game reverted my toon back to before i had picked them back up, so they are all gone now. I have 500ish hours in the game, and alot of that was grinding for gear and charms. I know this is a tiny amount compared to what you and some others have. but that is still a TON of time. and blizz answers with a blanket, if our game messed up and you lost items or toons, sorry we have no way to fix it.... yet somehow they can make toons for PTR, and they made you a toon. but they somehow dont have a way to put items back into your inventory.... I find this improbable, and impossible. Even if they cant get into your specific charachter, there has to be some logs so they can see what was lost, make a new lvl 1 toon for you with all the lost gear, so you can go in it and move the gear back in your stash. **sorry for the long comment, but im losing my mind at this point** is there ANY advice you can give on how to fix this? Blizz seems to ignore us plebs that artn community contributors, and its really pissing me off.
Can some one tell me on single player why I've found 5 tals armours Zod cham jah 3x ber 7 X sur 4 X Lo 3 X Ohm Griffons metal grid but I can't find a good damn arachs belt or arrests helm
Mrllamas…. You said last year if we found anything weird in D2R, let you know. Well I found something weird. My ladder character has a body stuck in town that I cannot loot…. So effectively I lose all my gear Everytime I die.
