    We have PVC on our roof of our current rig. We asked our manufacturer about it and they did say it cost more to have PVC. We are really impressed with the quality of Brinkley’s cabinets. Thank you for a great video from an actual owner! Yes everyone need to go do a factory tour, we toured two manufacturers while we were there in the area.

      @@TreeTalkerTheTraveler We did the Alliance and KZ tours last week and seeing how these campers are built is very eye opening. Do they get things wrong, sure and sometimes it’s a lot. Finding a great dealership to fix the problems is challenging in itself. Side note, We’ve had our current rig for 4 years and we haven’t had a problem that made us stop camping forever. While we were at each location we got to video 2025 models for our channel. Thank you for the comment back at us, we truly appreciate your feedback on Brinkley.

    We live fulltime in a Brinkley Z2900 and have a Lance 2075 for touring - so I can relate and agree with your assessment of both - thank you for a great job. Both RVs do well in very cold and very warm weather with some preparation. Unfortunately on the Facebook sites of both RVs - the owners think they own the best and don’t want to hear any negative comments on either - so I read their good comments and go to other sites like yours to see what upgrades have been implemented to make improvements or replaced junk equipment with better quality ones.

    I was one of the guys in the Lance 2445 group with you lol, we both have good taste, went from the Lance to the Brinkley. Will never buy something with a Schwinteck slide after the major failures we had with Lance. How you like traveling with this over a bumper pull? 41' vs 30'. Im torn between this and the 3110. We have the 295 travel trailer but want to go Fifth Wheel. Is it easy to find good camp sites?

    • @TreeTalkerTheTraveler
      @TreeTalkerTheTraveler  2 місяці тому

      We had no issues finding camping sites this summer, but did stick to bigger campgrounds. I found it pulled easier than the Lance and was no problem at all but I did get a DWD. Pulled it with my SWD and it was fine but decided to get a little more truck. Can’t go wrong with either the 3110 or 3610. You will love it.

    Great video we are looking at a 3610 . You pointed out some good things,porch light would be nice,and since they prep for slide toppers, it would be nice if Brinkley installed the one that fits slide toppers are important. The one thing we wish they would include is the shower seat should not be a option. The biggest reason we like Brinkley is the fit and finish the extra mile they go on building there frames,and from all the people who have Brinkleys there customer service is the best of all the rv manufacturers. We look forward to more of your videos on the 3610 .

    Beautiful RVs! I love the light interiors and all the cabinets. The nonexistent exhaust fan is a big deal. I take it the window behind the stove doesn’t open. That would be an easy fix if it did,I guess. The porch light is important too.Quiet AC is great,but as you mentioned the on/off thing over night is annoying. Agree about having the option of slide cover that one can order from manufacturer as an option. The wrinkling of roof is kind of scary. These are very valid points.
    Really enjoyed your video!!

    TPO is a great roofing material been used in commercial applications for decades. Nothing like rubber (EPDM) and can be patched just like vinyl. To clean all you do is wet it let it sit 2 mins then use a power washer....will look like new.

    thanks for your experience with the 3610. I to feel Brinkly, came out with a new fresh look for Rvr's. Sleek and modern. They definitely dropped the ball with the control panel. I to have and fifth wheel with the "incomand" system. I love it. If I need to adjust lighting, heat, outdoor lighting and I am in bed, I simply open the app and take care of it. Seems like Brinkly went back 10years in time with this one.
    I have been in the 3610 and to be honest we are looking at one. 1 thing that I would like for them to do is slide the island over 1 foot. Or reduce the length. We cant see the fire place if your at the table or even on the right lazy boy. Seem like the counter is smack right there.
    I would also rather a tank water heater with both electric and propain, If you run out of propain your out of hot water. Give us options please brinkly

    • @TreeTalkerTheTraveler
      @TreeTalkerTheTraveler  2 місяці тому +2

      Thanks for watching. Ironically my issue with the Lance is it only had the in-Command switches so if it went out (and it did once) nothing worked. Ideally you would have an inCommand type set up with physical back up switches.
      I was worried about propane only on water heater but it has not been an issue as it’s so efficient it barely uses any propane.
      We REALLY LOVE the 3610. I think you will be not be disappointed if you get one. Great rig and good quality.

      They went with the panel set they have because many folks do not like the touchpad systems. Also there is a high failure rate on the touchpads requireing master reset....firmware updates etc and people don't want to deal with that.

    • @SEANRMZ
      @SEANRMZ 2 місяці тому

      @@waltfriedrich7631 I totally understand. But if your looking for an older style of platform there are other brands that have that style of tech Grand design or Montana. I love the out of the box thinking, new idea's, modern look from Brinkly, but its like having an Iphone or Android with dial up internet.
      I have many friends young and old with newer motor homes and they have the touch pads. Like I mention there is no perfect Rv, I still am leaning on the 3610, or the Pinacle 2025.. will at the Rv show this year in Tampa.

    Great video. Some of these things are just head scratchers. As you know we have an Alliance 5ver and a Lance TT. Yes there are head scratchers in those 2. BUT your head scratchers are worse. The slide switch in the MB especially is bad if its a schwintek. The light switch in the cabinet is dumb....the AC plug issue below the desk....the slide topper not an option is a non starter. We had a dealer put in a dryer vent in our Alliance...and when they installed it was not even close to being level. Cant imagine how they would butcher slide toppers.

  • @5OHcamping

    We have the 3610 as well. Here is my list of dislikes:
    #1) Both the bunkhouse and bedroom a/c units, the design in the bunkhouse was awful, both had temperature sensor issues and the sensor now hangs out to fix the problem. Both have diverters on them to push the air away from the intake, and they are loud….once there is a low profile chill cube the current units hit marketplace.
    #2) drum brakes are terrible, if you are selling a “premium” product it should have disk brakes standard.
    #3)The roof, even our recalled and replaced vents have cracks, the osb at one point swelled and our TPO roof on the slides have holes where the material has wrinkled, and torn, the solution….eternabond.
    #4) The dealerships, our sales process was great, the camper had body damage and we were promised it would look factory, far from the truth. Our closest dealership refused to perform a NHTSA recall because we did not buy from them (I am looking into if they can refuse to do this because they are a Brinkley franchisee)
    Overall the build quality has been great and Brinkley answers their phones. The RV is beautiful and we are hoping to get many years out of it. It is going to take some work to get some of the issues fixed but Brinkley seems open. To criticism and implemented improvements quickly.

      Ours is a 350. I think the 450 looks better and gives you better turning radios with just a small lost in payload. All things equal I would get the 450 but the 350 will do great. I’ve watched this 3 times now. We are looking at 3110 or 3100. I’m not a TPO fan but is PVC a good alternative? PVC doesn’t play well with uv from sun. I asked about light switch during first walkthrough. 3 way switches needed. The vent missing over stove is a show stopper for me. I would like to hear more about your tow vehicle. Nice. We have a 2025 z285 trailer. They put chill cubes in the living room and bedroom! I think you will see more chill cubes in the bedrooms of the 5th wheels when they come out with a low profile version. It looks like they are using GE low profile systems now. The other thing i am disappointed with is the owners manual. It is quite lacking on where things are. The rear end looks entry level-ish, higher end models have a motorhome type cap back there (take a look at the Jayco Pinnacle).
    The paint colors… .black and white, boring. Don't need stripes and/or swoop decals, but come on, put some color on those things.
    Lastly, I don't like the profile of it. I hate how the roofline on the back dives down, again, it gives the trailer a cheaper look and those things aren't cheap.

      Thanks for watching and sharing your opinion. We all like different things and that’s good that there are different options for that reason.
      That slope is called a mid profile. There are reasons for it and pros and cons. Sounds like you would like full profile model.
      Thanks again.

    This guy is whining and complaining about first world problems. Dude you have the highest quality fifth wheel RV for the price point. There are a lot of people in this world who would love to have your problems. Quit complaining and go enjoy your RV.

      @chetreece226 Actually I don't think he is helping others such as myself who are looking at campers and Brinkley is on the list. One of the ways companies improve their products is customer feedback. Just maybe Brinkley can address these issues and build future campers better.
