I don't know about looks and presentation, I'd say they're just different... but when it comes to realistic player movements, it's night and day... Konami has been absolutely goated for a while now... love this series. It's so glaring in the pitching... playing the show, you're like: why his arm so far like that... there's no whipping he just kinda tosses it... 99 mph... ok, sure. You don't have that issue in PYS.
Imagine how beneficial this could be for the consumer if Konami can successfully push into the North American Market. Then MLB the Show would have to step up their game just like they did in the early 2010s when they had to compete with 2K

Hell, let's say theoretically that Pro Spirits somehow gets the MLB license for console games AND still do the two year release cycle like they do in Japan. The reason MLB Pro Spirts is coming to mobile only is beacuse Sony has the exclusive console licence for MLB, but is also likely Konami is using the phone game to test waters since the Sony license plans to expire in next few years
no they dont. and never did. any first party company like nintendo or microsoft can make mlb games. they just dont. the mlb license was with 2k until 2k15 which stated no 3rd party games....thats why we have the show, and we have had the show even in years 2k held the license. microsoft couldve released inside pitch again but they didnt. just because sony was the only game releasing doesnt mean they have any exclusive license lol

To all the people who want to buy it but can’t in the US this is how. Basically if your on PS5 you have to create a new account. It’s pretty simple and you can get it done within like 20 minutes. The only important step is just selecting Japan as your location
The only thing this game seems to be missing is the MLB license as well as certain equipment , most notably branded cleats , which is really weird because i could have sworn i saw an asics branded glove in one of the trailers , but as long as there is a franchise mode I'll hold google translate up to my screen and trudge my way through the menus because it looks incredible

Simply put, the best baseball sim there is. Don't get me wrong, the Show series has had moments of brilliance as did the EA series from years ago, but Spirits gameplay has been unbeatable. If only Konami would roll out English menus for the thing...
Pretty sure you can get it on Steam regardless of where you from? At least it's true in my region. All I need to do was turning off the language filter when searching for the game (Steam filters out Japanese only games by default on English-based system/account).

There's a lot more money in mobile mainly because a ton of people have phones that can play games like that. Maybe we'll see a Switch port of MLB Pro Spirit...I hope not lol! I'm not a fan of what they're appearing to offer with the game. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but it's essentially a team building kind of thing, right? Oh, man. Back in 2020 when MLB wasn't going due to COVID, NPB started back up. I heard from my brother that a the time, the Korean League games were being broadcast in the US while there was no MLB. NPB missed out on a golden opportunity with that. Heck, even now with Ohtani being such a superstar, trying to find a way to give people access to Japanese baseball outside of Japan is a way to grow their sport. I don't think it would sky rocket interest or anything like that, but things are mostly locked to Japan, which is just stupid. - Danny
You'd have to get past the stuck up minds of the Central League lol. NPB doesn't have interleague TV rights, and Central League is notoriously complicated in that regard.
I hate it when interleague play is on here. Particularly with the Carp. I usually plunk down on a month of DAZN here for interleague play (which their ridiculous cancellation rules, that turn into two months), but if the Carp are playing in Hiroshima against my favorite team the Lions, my only option is to just turn in the radio. Yes. You just need to create a Japan PSN account on your PS5. There on tutorials online how to do that. Really easy. After that you need to get a Japan PSN gift card and redeem that on your Japan account. I bought my gift card from Play Asia. If you didn’t want to go the digital download route You can get the physical version from Play Asia. PS5 is region free so you can play any disc game you want on there.
As it turns out, there is some basic English that they provide in the final build of the game. Namely for overall options and controls. I just uploaded some direct feed gameplay showcasing this! - Danny

Playing the game on pc, the 4k is really unsupported even in RTX3080 any visual settings above low will dunk the fps down to 10fps when any cinematics are playing, visual above medium will even struggle to pitch or bat since the fps will dunk at 10-20 fps on average. There's no frame generation support, no dynamic resolution, and the graphic settings are all handled with an external settings tool they show on the start of the game. Someone bound to make a tool for this or at least implement frame generation support. This is Unreal at least so it will be plausible to do so.

Some menu's are translated, but majority of text including any story related text, instructions, tutorials, and the likes are all still in Japanese
