Best high I’ve ever had. Me and my ex did it together years ago and the way music felt was unreal!! It was like I could feel the music and just had so much gratefulness towards everything. I didn’t feel unwell or had any bad moments. I just felt free from a lot of heavy shit that was weighing me down at that time. Haven’t been tempted to do it again because it’s not that kind of drug. You just respect the time you had with it.

Tried it once, and it was undoubtedly the most magnificent trip of my life, it was profound. We did it in a group of 7 and not only had a few shared experiences ( horses in a painting running/breathing hard & stars swirling in a forest opening) but then had separate experiences of our own. One of my fondest memories!❤

@maxxx2671 it was different from mushrooms or acid. The visuals felt more clear and pure in someway. As for body, there was a buzz but not as grimy feeling as other hallucinogenics. We had tons of energy, and about a third of us did feel sick for the first 40 min. Or so, but then it seemed everyone had fun. One big thing is that I felt no pain. I flew off our giant trampoline and hit my shin, but got right up like it was nothing. Same thing happened in the woods, as I flopped down in the snow to look at the stars, I hit my head on a rock under the snow, but it didn't really hurt.

Peyote is crazy. My Dad told me he took it with some shamans before I was born and ended up shitting himself in the middle of the desert. He ended up wandering the desert for 3 days before meeting 3 animals which spoke to him. I believe it was Raven, which told him to be wary, Coyote, which mocked him, and Wolf, which told him three words: "You are chosen." I know my Dad and 100% believe all of this. well considering how long they take to grow you are pretty much forced to at this point. also judging how he was talking about Canada's laws I'm assuming he's in Canada. peyote isn't native to Canada so he's not really going to have much option. in all honesty, though, payote isn't worth it anyway. mushrooms are superior. however peyote seems to have am awww around them. likely because of their scarcity. for anyone looking to try it I would recommend just doing mushrooms instead. the nausea is just to intense with peyote. and from what you get trip wise from eating a button or 2 you can easily surpass with an ⅛ of some penis envy. plus getting mushrooms down is somehow easier than peyote. even when it's prepared the correct way.

I remember doing this once in a teepee, i felt like i was going to melt i was sweating so bad. I eventually fell back onto a pillow and saw myself stand up and run with a brown bear. I eventually came to a cliff and sat down, taking in the scene. I closed my eyes and woke up in the teepee soaking wet. My grandpa asked what i saw, and we talked about it almost every time we saw each other before he passed away.

I had a terrifying experience on this shit. Went camping with buddies several decades ago when I was 16 or 17 and one of my buddies broke out some tea he had and we all drank about a coffee cup full. We have no idea what dosage we took because his brother just gave him the jar told him what we should all take to have a good time. I remember feeling sick and throwing up and immediately feeling amazing. The trip was amazing for a short time and then one of my buddies freaked out and ran off into the wood screaming. I then couldn’t recognize who my friends were as they were beginning to shapeshift. With that and the sound of dude screaming throughout the Blair witch woods I walked off in a dried up creek and curled up in the fetal position. Long story short it was a very long and terrifying night that was nothing like the many acid and mushroom trips I have since experienced which were all amazing. Just know how much you are taking

I have no idea if it WAS actually mescaline, but it got you high for about 6 hours and all you did was laugh, HARD, almost the entire time. Your face and stomach muscles would ache like heck the day after from all the laughing. Then they just disappeared and I've never seen them since. Man I'd love to do that again

The key thing is have reverence about it and have someone that is native American help guide you through it. Taken in too big of a quantity with the wrong mindset it can literally drive you crazy. If you are going to take it start with small doses and a controlled environment. And Thank it and treat it with respect and reverence.

People tend to extract the mescaline from the peyote, rather than take the peyote itself, though it is taken in its full form as a religious sacrament among some of the First Nation tribes. Unlike LSD the onset of mescaline is extremely slow, you can wait hours for the effect to become apparent.
Just so you know the microdots the guys are talking about in this thread are a form of LSD and not mescaline. Microdots come in this tiny dot form (who would have thought it😄) that contains enough LSD for a trip. Microdots were more variable in strength as they are not as easy to dose as say blotting paper.
