I was going to put the address of the vendor to warn people not to buy there, but they tried their best to process my return so I won't.
They acknowledged that there were some quality issues in their inventories. I still won't buy it for a foreseeable future but if you like to tinker with it, look for it on ebay.

So they say but I think V/U is receive only. I feel deceived. Will confirm with later video(s). Time to go to sleep.

@N4GW I think I got a bad one. It keeps crashing (red screen of death). Have you experienced RSD?
With the RSD, you can do a full master reset. Export your settings first. To do a reset, while holding F1 and F8, turn the power on. Then import your settings. Then on the Calibration menu, select Flash G11. Turn radio off and back on.
