Bought the CF3 - Power 14 based on your 1 minute review a month or so ago. Haven't been disappointed. It is some weapon at the Kitchen. My control is not as good as yours, I feel 16mm - Power is more plush control, obviously... but the game is so fast now that pop and top spin rules, so this one really checks out. Funny that people are not used to how amazing Standout paddles are and are thinking this is a commercial
What’s the difference in feel between the 14 and 16 mm versions? Does the 16 mm feel more muted, or more sluggish during hand battles? Wondering which model to try if I can generate my own power and favor feel/touch above power… Thanks!
CF3 14mm is my go-to for 2024 and I have every high-end paddle on the market, but always seem to go back to the CF3. The only paddle that I found that compares as far as "FEEL" is the new CRBN True Foam Cx1 (which is not released to the public yet). I did have one CF3 snap at the handle on me during a game, which was surprising. Fortunately, I had a back-up. LOL. The only improvement to the CF3 would be the butt cap or maybe the handle length. Maybe a less aggressive butt cap or slightly longer handle would make it even better. I add about 3-4g from the throat on either side. Great paddle.
That's good feedback, I haven't had an issue with mine, but maybe like the DBD, they'll come out with an elongated handle at some point. Either way, this is a fantastic paddle 🔥
The Control is a new launch from them, this review is for the CF3 Power, primarily the 14mm. But the concepts outlined are true for all of them, just depends on your personal preference of control vs power
@@bk_pickleball ok probably I will lean more on the control side, are both power and control are All court paddles? started playing pickleball this year close to once a week transitioning from tennis I do use topspin on forehand and 1-handed backhand slices as well
@@ernest4483 Yes, all paddles are all court paddles, definitely would recommend a 16mm if you are looking for more control! Both the Control and Power 16mm are good options
When the paddle was originally released they didn't have as many options, Standout recently released a Control and Power version of the paddle in 16mm to go along with the original 14mm, as well as fine tuned the swing weight based on player feedback. They also released a ton of new colorways, so waited until now to put out the review ☺️
This company doesn’t get enough attention. I did wish they didn’t put their “SO” logo right on the sweet spot. The logo feels slightly slicker than the normal surface, and I would be worried about it negatively impacting spin.
Every reviewer usually has a discount code, but all my reviews are always honest. I'm not trying to sell the paddle, just giving you the facts after my time playing with it! 😅

Absolutely, this is an outstanding paddle, everybody that has used it gets what I mean haha 🙌🏽
I’m a big fan of Lu’s paddles as well! Glad to see Standout getting some more attention! Keep up the awesome work! 💪
Absolutely, love their paddles! Appreciate the support, you're killing it too 🙌🏽
@@bk_pickleball Too kind! ☺️

I just purchased one thanks for sharing your review. Excited to try it out. Where would you apply led tape to optimize the paddle ?
I added mine to the bottom corners of the face as you can see on the paddle, I like to bring the sweet spot down for stability

I'd be really interested to see transparency on what factories all of these paddles are being made in.
This is one of the finest.
That it is!! 🙌🏽
Love that smoke effect hahaha
Thank you!!!!! Took a lot of effort hahaha
Thank you! Ordering it with your code… bye bye dbd
Love it!! 🙌🏽
What is the spin rpm?
You should talk about the KC1 - I got it, edgless kevlar!
sweet review on their website there's two versions of the CF3 Control and Power of course there's the 14mm and 16mm

@@bk_pickleballthe colorway the red and lilac on the CF3 control are fire 🔥🔥🔥
@@ernest4483 That they are!! Very good looking paddles 🔥
have you hit the hurache x control? if so, howd you compare?
Haven't had a chance to hit that yet, going to try and get my hands on it soon
any idea how this stacks up against the J2k 14mm? I was considering buying that, I previously played with a DBD then went to the J2k.
Haven't hit the J2K yet, hoping to get my hands on it soon! But as far as a DBD replacement goes, this is a fantastic choice!!
Did I understand you called this paddle a hybrid? If so, how is it a hybrid when it appears to be a regular rectangle shape?
Not sure where you see a rectangle, it's definitely a hybrid haha! Curved edge for sure, very similar to the Double Black Diamond Shape
This paddle has been on the market for months. Just curious on why you chose to do the review now?

FACTS 🙌🏽
Not a hybrid if its 16.5” long. Just a rounded head like the Hyperion.
What is the swingweight and twistweight?
14mm:
Swing Weight: 112
Twist Weight: 6.7
16mm:
Swing Weight: 118
Twist Weight: 6.9
7.7?! No way. You sure?
I feel like there’s no way it’s 7.7, maybe he meant 6.7?
I checked the site and it also says 7.7 which seems crazy for the weight and thickness. If that value is true that's amazing.
@@HeavyAndLow as someone who has this paddle and a briffidi. Mine had a tw of 6.4
is this review honest? you have an affiliate code lol sounds like an ad

They all have codes. Gotta make money somehow
