One thing I love about this channel, as much as it is about the vehicle, it's actually not. It about having fun with your mates. You can go and have fun in any make of car. I am also very Impressed with how simelarly performance the cars are, from a reasonably stock dmax keeping up with a heavily modified landcruiser. It's shows its all about the driver and the lines.
Ive literally watched every episode and I can honestly say I haven't watched a bad one yet A big thanks to graham, Shauno and the crew for top entertainment and great laughs cheers fellas !!
100% my fav channel on UA-cam. That was one hell of an episode, Graham's "disturbed, down with the sickness" reference at 1:11:08 was priceless! Unfortunate circumstances have left me homeless and on the street but I won't ever miss an episode of 4wd action!
Stay off the drink dude, wouldve loved to have this when I was your age. Get a saturday job and start saving trust me itll be worth it 😉 get yourself a little Jimny or something to save on insurance
My youngest bloke and I absolutely LOVE your show, he cant wait to see the DVD's every issue and watching every new video on youtube. He particularly loves watching your cooking Shawno and has often demanded we make what you have shown us! Keep it up boys, we are loving it. We are slowly kitting up our Ford Everest and doing some minor wheeling about the place. Thanks for the inspiration.
I bought a 4x4 because I live on a dirt road, that gets super beat up every time it rains, and there's a creek that goes through it, which loves to flood when it rains too. I wish I had an 80 like Shauno's, but I've got a 2008 FJ Cruiser. You guys are the reason I'm building it, so I can go trail riding. Cheers from the USA!
Graham and Shauno...you guys are tops! Thank you for high quality content videos... I watch each and every one! Keep it up for the next 30 years... can't wait for your latest off-road video...just luv it!!! From a 1988 FJ62 four wheeler, Joseph (Cape Town, South Africa)
1HD-T motors are notorious for losing idle at steep angles. Something about the sucking power of the injector pump. You can fix it by adding an electric low pressure pump in the line.
I've driven that last hill up to the Telstra tower many times in my 2004 Hilux with lockers. The track in the middle is getting a bit chewed out so we tend to use the right hand track now.
Drive the sandy creek track the back side of the Conondale Ranges on the Kilroy side... comp trucks were going past climbing horizontal washouts higher than my car. Sent the family home with the local police, recovered the car the next day. Wild.
It's always refreshing watching 4WD Action episodes here in Kenya and I make it a point not to miss any episode. I think this show is just real in its authentic off-roading trips. Got to love the humor between Shauno and Graham ..... and Rocket Rod.... whatever happened to Legend X's Bazooka Barney Lewis...
YES PLEASE ! Was on the road this morning when I got the notification - NEW 4WD Action !! So I'm a little late to the party on this one but hey, Monster Rossi and 4WD Action to kick my morning into Low Range Powa !
We have some pics and vids from a few of our boys in my group driving that hill if you want to see them two twin locked 80's and a 150 series prado that got to the very top before he needed to jump on the winch.

Love the show. Over an hour episodes of exactly what I want to do. Couldn't ask for more. Even the way y'all advertise merchandise is respectable and flows well. Keep them coming!
Watched all the episodes and you guys are by far the best 4x4 driving crew in Australia. My favorite was the "mile of mud" please redo the track with the same guys and also don't forget to include Rocket. His goes nuts with his 79 beast..
Here in America with a 2nd generation Hilux. I watch all of your videos and I guess I should get to building on this thing so that I struggle a little less! Haha. I see the Opus campers have held up well to the abuse you guys put her through, I am looking at the Opus OP4 myself so that I can take the whole family out with me.
I think its cool he shows how far you can get without one, most IFS trucks its not really an option, so I appreciate seeing it, heck the Dmax has zero lockers and look how well it does
Brill as usual, very happy to see the Ford ranger in the episode as they are so popular over in the uk. Would love to see another ranger in another episode soon. Regards Paul.
my friends and i went to the mountains in Pennsylvania ( off road trip from Toronto CAN). ended up on a trail with no option to back out. 200m downhill so steep lost oil pressure had to shut it off. two feet on the brake peddle , and the man trans in gear 2nd low. sure was a rush :)
Imagine being at the bottom of the mountain hearing this beautiful 79 series V8 and then a second of silence for Rocket to go woooooohooooooooo ! That would make my day

Glass house mountains was my most epic! Went out on my own (big no no) 9:00 at night, 40mm of rain that day and 2000kms away from home. Broke the left cv joint and popped two tyres off the beed. Got back to Caboolture (girlfriend was there with her nan) 8:00 next morning 👍
OMG Graham, This is James from Canada... I'm looking at moving to Australia. First though... I was drinking some when I saw you go from your waeco to his to grab a beer. When you cheers him with his beer I literally laughed so hard I had beer come out of my nose. All over eh
Nice drive Shauno. Only ever once done something like that and yeah, I slipped and got to travel back down the track, backwards, far faster than I liked. Dont like being passenger at the best of times, but when your MEANT to be in control, yeah. Scary. Gotta love pea gravel. Ruts saved me. (except my shorts). So yeah, I could definitely feel ya on that climb. At the bottom, I was sure I could do it. My old rig goes up most thing without too much trouble, usually only pass up things that would put her on her side (a bit top heavy due to lift). 75 Troopy, lifted, lower gears in transfer, twin locked on 35's (at that stage). It was an eye opener to suddenly be going the wrong way and having no choice in the matter. Was a few years ago now, still sends shivers down my spine.
