The best and most underrated Aussie 4WD show period. I don’t know why you don’t have more than 200k subscribers. My wife and I look forward to every show. Please keep them coming!
here we are 4 years later, and im going through every video i ever missed, just realized this episode doesn't have the cooking segment. I look forward to that every video hahaa
Been a member of a 4WD club here in Tassie all my life. Competed in rallies state wide and love the place and lifestyle. Glad you blokes enjoy it and hope you keep coming back 👍
Emery Booker That's how "Gumbo" is made here in the Bayou's of Louisiana, we just start throwing whatever we have in a big ole cast iron pot and build a fire under it "Ooo eee, that's mighty fine eatin
I've watched so many of your adventures and I'm amazed at the isuzu dmax. No CVs broken. No steering arm broken. Nothing which destroys the drivetrain. Except that one time the shaft broke. Haha. But apart from that. The isuzu has been very impressive, I might get me one in the near future but with a manual transmission. Good on ya Graham.
I transferred from 4 to 2 wheels 10 years ago, don't miss driving cars at all but these video's really make me miss 4wding, keep up the great work guys!
There are so many alternative routes they can use to their advantage some of which are clearly visible in the footage even a metre or 2 each way, but I suppose it's just part of the adventure and makes the show more interesting!
Hi guys my name is Anthony I get up at 2am every day to watch your episodes. I’ve seen them all 4 times over even beers in the shedded. I love ever truck you take away but the smack is a surprising weapon. I live in Victoria and have been dreaming of taking my family on the tracks you guys go especially the high country. My partner has been through a transplant and the relaxation of a tip away as a family is our dream. I’ve been searching for and 80series like the red camera car but even that is an expensive goal with medical bills.
Could you give me some suggestions as to how to set up a reliable touring rig as cheap as possible and the best places to start off as my family and I will start by going alone. You guys are awesome. Graham’s laugh is infectious and the freedom you get to experience is just what she needs to recover. Love the show keep it up guys
30:07 - That tip on how to repair a broken winch rope is priceless! Absolute genius! I really appreciate this about your channel, guys! Maybe you could think about collecting all those little tips and making a playlist of “tiny tip clips”?? :) great work!
The fun you guys have together is great to see. Shaun is a legend and has great taste in 4x4s we only moved to Melbourne a wile ago so friends on a trip are hard to find but like you guys always say it makes all the difference !!!! Living the dream boys !!!!!!!
Shaun!!! Front locker!!! So many times it seemed as if an ARB in the front woulda had you through. Great video and great driving. Entertaining and good teaching material.
This is the best channel on UA-cam hands down! Can’t always understand what you’re saying but I love the content you guys know how to have some fun ! Much love from the USA
Mainly the reason I'm hooked on watching everything you guys produce, You provide more knowledge than anyone by far in this scene. From simple rocks in ruts to ratchet straps and the theory you're using behind the madness, the camera angles the crew is getting, for example: - when rockets Springs fell out and you stapped it to hold even in an off camber mud climb. -Your tips to us who are living outside of Australia and need to know basic requirements, for water food weather to expect both extremes of the years, - Your ongoing support to local businesses who create some amazing innovate products, like those clearview mirrors I had no idea they pulled out further or had 180deg of movement, -The absolute full extent of what you can do with maxtrax gives us so many limitless possibilities to go back and re rethink something that could be passed so simply. You guys truly are amazing, and so good to watch, never a dull moment. The impersonations of each other are hilarious. All in all 15/10 How good!
Thought of you boys as I aired down and used the back and forth wheel maneuver to get through some tough 10 inch deep snow we recently got. In my front wheel drive Toyota Corolla!
Man these guys look like they're having so much fun and they're pretty knowledgable. I bet it'll be fun overlanding with these guys, just can't afford the rigs they've got.
Your videography is awesome , feels like a proper production show ... Good luck on the show boys and keep up the good work , I've just bought my first 4 wheel drive , gen 3 Hilux sr5 ( like the 4runner ), can't wait to get it I to some off roading
One of my favorite and most useful “hacks” for being out in the wilderness while trying to pack carefully and properly is to get a couple automotive shammy’s that they use for drying off a car after washing and detailing. You can get them at any automotive or general shopping center. They fold and roll up real small, they aren’t big to begin with, they soak up water and wring it back out like a super sponge, and they’re excellent for drying anything and everything, including yourself after a shower. (Or more likely an “airplane” shower as my dad called it when we’d go camping; just wash under the wings and the cockpit 😉) That said, they really are great for that and I recommend going with 2 shammy’s in different colors and using one for drying yourself after a wash, and one for everything else. There may be better options out there now that I’m not aware of though since I’ve been out of the camping scene for a fair few years now unfortunately, but I still keep one in my SUV and one in my go-bag. If there are better options that are just as cheap and portable, even to stuff in a backpack, I’d appreciate anyone letting me know!
Now I would never dream of telling you experts how to do anything, but just a suggestion for deep muck and mud is chains. Like deep snow and ice, mud responds well to them sometimes.
I have been curious for a while about your winching technique, why don’t you guys use free spool to pull out cable instead of winching out? Isn’t it hard on the winch to winch out cable all the time?
It sounds like Shaun has something loose like a wheel bearing or a bad shock. I also agree if the DMAX had a lift kit and bigger tires that thing would be a beast. It's no slouch the way it is. I live in the States in Blacksburg VA and I would love to come to Australia and go 4 wheeling with you guys. We have a couple trails like Bailey's Gap that is very hard to go through. Deep mudholes that will swallow your vehicle.
You guys have become my favourite channel to be subscribed to. The content you boys make is fantastic, plus you guys always have usefull tips and hilarious banter that just makes this channel stand out. I recon you guys are on the path if become the #1 4WD channel in Australia!
Guys love the channel... Thanks for all the adventures, I had learned a lot through you two and I put it on practice every time am in the bush... All over southern Africa You guys are freaking awesome
On my ATV's I have 7' (1 meter) straps always connected on both ends for quick easy hook ups. The Florida mud can get the suction quick. The faster the extraction starts the easier it is.
Para mi no existe en el mundo nada mejor que la Toyota serie 80, tengo una y creo que me quedare con ella hasta siempre. Porque una vida no es sufiente .
Now just wait a dang minute. The very first doozy of an obstacle, and the DMax got stuck? I kept seeing that driver side front spin and spin, but where was the traction control?
Guys, your videos are amazing! You came up with a magical formula on here! Ive been binge watching like crazy and telling everyone about Ya'll! keep them coming! If you ever want an "American co-host" on a show or two PLEASE let me know! i've always dreams of having an adventure like what you are doing!!!!
Stu’s recovery at 30mins in, I’m surprised you guys didn’t do a snatch block recovery. It was alooot of Tension on that winch line :) good to see second try was successful though.

@jpg36c did you not watch it all the way through?
Some say the boys are STILL trying to find traction a few months later! Who's driven in mud like this before?
Im a local tasmanian, i love our tracks.
Keep up the good work and keep visiting us
Are you only allowed up to a certain lift and tires on your vehicles there ? Looks like a great time . I live in Utah in the US
We live just at the start of Jeffery’s and managed to even snag a photo with the boys, love the place

I bought a pressure cooker and started just throwing things in after watching this show often and it works. Never had a bad meal since.

Probably definitely maybe one of the best 4wd action videos I've seen yet

How good!
Feed the tail down the centre of the rope to finish it off nicely. It also helps lock in the splice when the rope squeezes it as tension increases.
@@4WD247 definitely!
I really like the canopy on the isuzu. The dmax since 2007 look very nice and sharp with a canopy. Great engines.
This makes Fridays kick ass
Thought of you boys as I aired down and used the back and forth wheel maneuver to get through some tough 10 inch deep snow we recently got. In my front wheel drive Toyota Corolla!

Sean roasting Graham for his good old traction control comments at 1:07 is hilarious! They're good at poking fun at themselves.
Glad to see you fellas came back to tassie for another trip, so much fun to be had here any time of the year.
More power to this show!
Great job to both mate Graham & Shaun and credit to the team also.
Watching all the way from Philippines.
