@@UnCommentaryBriwe are not African we consider it a inslut
Black Americans(FBA) we have not been in the continent of Africa for 500 years. Some of us have been here for thousands of years
We're so tied to this land our soul won't allow us to leave and we endured allowing so much bs done to us. This land is home.
But Don’t Deny That Deuteronomy 28:68 Leviticus Leviticus 26 Obadiah Aren’t True?
We not African-American we are black Americans
This is a mainly a social media/internet beef. People need to put down their phones and experience cultures…As a black American who travels to Africa, numerous countries…I felt nothing but love from my African brothers and sisters. Most native Africans are more concerned about working and taking care of their families…same with blacks part of the diaspora. Also, “AFRICAN” is a very broad term to use. Kenya has 44 tribes and they all don’t get along. Cultural and genetic diversity between native African groups can be far greater than a demographic from diaspora. But there are many lines national, cultural, ethnic, racial, and community/tribal.
I think it’s both, real life and social media beef. Didn’t the wife of the president in Nigeria make a sub towards black Americans just recently ? (On stage infront of an entire audience) When Megan Markle came to visit Nigeria with prince Henry. The beef is very much real outside of social media
@@UnCommentaryBri ….you may be right…but I never experienced it personally beyond hearing people’s views based on their cultural ignorance and the lack of empathy and understanding. This occurs on both sides. For example, I’ve dated a Kenyan woman who lived in the US for 20 years but she didn’t know much about African American history and contributions to society. Her views were limited to what she saw on TV or what she heard on the radio. She never saw the professional and educated class of African American. That’s ok because there were areas I was ignorant about her culture too. But her family and friends were great and accepted me.
Key reason why I reduced my social media usage and limited the things I see on the shaderoom, tiktok etc. Alot of unnecessary ethnic wars going on by people who lack proper knowledge about these topics
Me too
Foundational Black Americans or American Descendants of Slavery are an entirely new ethnic group. First off, we are mixed with different tribes in Africa, we have European DNA, and Native American DNA. We are not the same people that were herded onto ships heading for the Americas!
I agree with everything you said except for “we are not the same people”…. Yes we are. We are just stripped from our roots but that doesn’t mean we should totally disregard our roots. Like I said in the video, Africans and black Americans are cut from the same cloth. We are different in many ways but still the same. Yes we had our dna mixed with colonizers and native Americans but that doesn’t mean we are no longer African- we are just now African American.
@@UnCommentaryBri We are not African American. An African American technically is an African immigrant who migrated to the United States. A Foundational Black American is a “Black American,” whom ancestors were involuntarily brought to American Colonies as slaves or ancestors derive from Natives. For instance, does English Australians consider themselves English or Australian? Probably the latter! We haven’t been to Africa in hundreds of years & have no cultural similarity to Africa, nor do we know where we from in Africa. So, we can’t claim we are African. The only thing that ties us to Africa is skin color & that don’t mean much. I think there is danger in romanizing things. Because you ignore the reality of the situation.
#ADOS check out Yvette Carnell for that political cultural education. #lineagematters
@@UnCommentaryBriHere is the thing…. Most African Americans are made up of 10+ ethnic groups from AFRICA. These people may have “black” skin but these ethnic groups have different DNA sequences amongst each other. This is why when you do a DNA test it can identify where your DNA matches in Africa. Yoruba people and Congolese people are completely two different ethnic groups DNA wise, cultural wise, language wise, history wise. With that being said, African Americas are so mixed they are probably the most MIXED ethnicity on the face of the earth. They literally can be their own ethnicity. This is before you start adding admixtures like european ancestry, native american ancestry, and whatever else that could be there.
@@UnCommentaryBriy'all sold us never set aside no land nothing we are in our home America. africans come to America and undermine our efforts for justice and reparations we Koo on y'all we are not the same nor do we want to be y'all were called akata and other things we good
I never knew it was so bad. 1st my grandma who was on plantations in the south and lived through jim crow said she was in line when a Jamaican man tried to cut in front. She wouldn't let him and he called her a in-word with a Hard R. She told him you black just like me. I had to explain to her no nanna they don't see themselves as us.
Then my daughter tries to play with Ethiopians daughter that moved into our black community. She came home saying they told her they not allowed to play with Black people. I was like what 😡.
If that ain't enough i got WHYTE FOLKS on my job im cool with telling me thy Africans there are saying horrible things about Black Americans. So bad that not even the white folks no longer speak go them. Like this is nuts.
I'm from the Caribbean. You don't need anyone that's not a Black American except God. You and your Nanna have helped us and if we've helped you I can't see where (maybe you can tell me)....
I say all this to say "thank you" family 🫡

@papamaehem black Caribbean live in the hood with black Americans ever since and have the same lifestyle no different, you must live in Oklahoma or Arkansas and met 1 Jamaican in life, non hating fba know Caribbean and black Americans live together, Africans stay away from us both
I refuse to engage on these matters. We only gave each other. No matter where we are from.
I feel you. But I think we need to acknowledge these issues in order to have a stronger bond with each other instead of hate towards one another
You wish
@@UnCommentaryBriAs a black person, this is probably my FIRST time hearing this. I don’t associate myself with people who think like this or absorb this bs from social media
@@UnCommentaryBriwe are indigenous/aboriginal people of this Land yes few came by way of ships during slavery. Africans sold some of us Igbo out they never helped us or restored out human decency so I don't care to much for africans they are tribalistic
I agree with you.
We had this in the 🇬🇧 UK between africans specially Nigerians and Carribeans Jamaicans for years, is not new.
Oh wow, I didn’t know this. Thank you. I’m based in the US. So I usually do videos from what I experience here

@@UnCommentaryBriyou’re not fba stop trying to talk for our people
As an African American our parents NEVER taught us to hate or dislike other black people in other countries because of what we have been through for over 400 years. All our ancestors wanted was other black nations to support them because they were trying to survive in the BELLY OF THE BEAST. A nation that no other country in this world could fight. They felt defeated, but kept fighting THE BEAST of RAYCISM. I was told that other black folks were OUR PEOPLE. The African Booty Scratcher thing was also said to DARK SKIN AFRICAN AMERICANS. Ask them how they were teased at home and in school. In our culture in the past, there was this thing called PLAYING THE DOZENS. Young people would have verbal battles saying funny terrible things about mamas, daddies, your clothes, your breath, your hair …. just have fun laughing at the insults and the best insulter WON. That activity is the creation and influence of RAP BATTLES.
Once again we were taught especially in the Civil Rights era all the way to the early 21st century that other black nations of people were OUR PEOPLE. That teaching was culture then.
FBAs are non immigrants in the same way other countries (eg China) had a native population before it formally became a country. FBAs were here before there was a USA and our exploited labor built the economic foundation of the USA empire and we fought for all Africans to have rights as well. We deserve way more respect
Let’s be honest! Only 5% of the descendants of the transatlantic slave trade were sent to the US, but somehow we as black Americans are mentioned by Africans more than any other group. Why are Brazilians not being mentioned or pandered the way we are as black Americans? Seems shallow to me and not about kinship but latching to the popular black group. We are not cut from the same cloth by the way! If we were, then Africa would have Beyoncé, Prince, Michael Jackson, Michael Jordan, and Malcolm X, MLK, Whitney Houston! Let’s be about truth.
Black Americans benefit from American imperialism. White men solidified America as a global superpower after WWII. Interesting how that is never acknowledged.
They are jealous!
@@coolida23511with the help of black Americans they couldn’t have done it without us that’s what you don’t get
This is so sad...Willy Lynch is going strong and those folks are loving it...
In the UK its Jamaicans vs Nigerians, in the USA its Nigerians vs Black Americans. You'll never hear 'beef' between Afro-Brazilians, Afro-Colombians, Afro-Peruvians etc. and Africans, why would we be beefing anyone? lol The diaspora wars are a myth, need to stop lumping all of us together its a mostly Nigerian, Jamaican and Black American issue. There are dozens of other African and Caribbean communities in the UK and USA that have been here for decades and we've never been involved in any 'diaspora wars.'
Well, I didn’t lump it all together in this video, it’s specifically Africans vs African Americans. But I see what you’re saying… to some communities there is not diaspora war. But for others, there is unfortunately
@@UnCommentaryBriyour ppl are NOT “African” American . Plz stop referring to them as such
Black Americans are not fleeing their country and roaming all over the world like nomads looking to live off of someone else's struggle. So it's not a black American thing. We are in OUR country, minding OUR business. That's some Nigerians/Jamaican bs. Their spirits are one.
Black Americans are the first Black ethnic in the U.S. The rest of you immigrated here, because of our ancestors. Also, why would you think we would be speaking of the rest lol? We do not bring you up, at all!

Stares in Caribbean specifically Haitian lol
What is an African America? We are no whefe near the continenr of Africa. Why does African not speak up about Liberia? What happened to Afro-Liberians and Afro-Caribbean. It has become insulting.
Whose caused what happened to Liberia? Was it not your Freeman Brothers?!?
@@okene What happened to the red white and blue stripe flag? Monrovia is named after the US 5th President. No one wants to discuss Free State of Liberia. It was for the freed Afro Caribbean from America. No one mentions it. African forgot.
@@MsNerdsRevenge typical delusional American. Yet you wanna accuse Africans of hatred
More people need Pan-African consciousness.
Africans need consciousness in general. In most countries literacy is low and tribalism is high
When you see segments that uses trigger words like versus….. alphabet supe’s calling card.
Not a trigger word, it quiet literally explains the divide that exist between our communities
Africa is a continent, with a lot of countries...n each country is different...❤🇿🇦 🇿🇦 🇿🇦
Give it a break. Everybody knows that Africa is a continent. America is a continent too. United States is the country. But foreigners say that they are going to America, not the US. So if you can say that you are going to America, we can say that we are going to Africa, duh.
We just have to stop sounding the weaknesses of one another because then people would naturally side with their own which causes the divide.
True
These were apart of the tribes that made negotiations to sell off humans in the Atlantic slave trade. The beef has been real for centuries.
There is no war going on. What war without weapons
War of words
It was only 300,000 slave in America
“Only” like that’s not a significant number. And it’s not like that number can multiply when slaves were forced to have children 🙄🙄🙄
You’re forgetting the ones created here that added to the original number remember there was a time when you could no longer import slaves. And the number is 390,000.
Most slaves were "created" in the US from enslaved Black women. There were literally breeding places that allowed white men "to have at it." This is the reason why on average, Black Americans are 25% Caucasian.
DIVIDE AND CONQUER

Everybody is wrong.
Lmaooo yes why can’t we just all get along
@UnCommentaryBri we never have. Selling off people that tribes considered "other" centuries ago let's us know that a divide existed centuries ago. Colonizers exploited the divide to where they profit from. Africa never sent an army, navy or airforce to check on the groups that they sold.
@@abundance6484 i agree with you but you cant include the whole continent when it comes to slavery. Some places have never been affected by it and some fought back

@@UnCommentaryBri you don’t have to explain yourself. Ain’t nobody thinking about them. Period. They just mad that they are being called out about their dusty ways.
@@UnCommentaryBriThis video doesn't focus on the crux of the issue & it doesn't have to, but I'm not going to watch a video highlight the African offenders when Tariq Nasheed & Phillip Scott created a Hate Group that is on their hate grind everyday on Social Media.
