As a Black American who just left Rwanda (Kigali and Kibagabaga) last month, I can say with certainty every Rwandan I met loved us. The ladies loved us too. We visited a few clubs, ate at some good restaurants we had a good time. Most of them can’t speak English well so this was a hurdle but don’t take these two women serious as ignorance is everywhere on this planet. I’ve been all over Africa from Kenya to Nigeria and can say the overwhelming MAJORITY of the ppl I’ve met LOVE us black Americans. Have never had an issue. Most are just ignorant to our history and culture like we are to theirs. B1 Family 💪 💯
I love your comment my Dear, You just gave me hope, As a Rwandese who lives in New York City, I was very surprised to hear my Rwanda sister 's intro then I wonder if she lives in USA maybe some brother or sister here missed behavior to her maybe that can be the reason why she said that, but I noticed that she is in RWANDA, definitely she doesn't know much about the history and everyday challenge of Black American. Maybe the lady is referring to the languages people use because they use to much F languages which in Kinyarwanda and Rwandan culture, we consider insults or miss behaviors, or somebody who are not polite.
nothing wrong with making heuristics. The truth is many black americans do what she said however she's over generalizing. I wouldn't live near black americans if i was in america, i would find a white surbub and statistically my kids will be less exposed to gargabe (agains statistically) black americans commit more crime per cap[ita
This is why delineation is important. Black Americans brothers and sisters put your people first and stop thinking that all black people are the same because we are not.
Black Americans never put their people first, that's why our communities are wretched and destitute. All AA's know how to do is march and complain. Imagine if they just spend their jordan money on computers and master technology and economics. Lol, just a bunch of friction toes and burnt soles isn't going to get anyone anywhere.

I love my Black American brothers and sisters. Notice I didn’t say African American. I refer to them as Black Americans or simply Americans even tho our roots are from African descendants. Aka Slaves. We’re black and proud. ✊🏽

I won’t go so far and say the most. This type of thinking echoes what they were saying. You get that from movies and stories. Do you know of the African or Caribbean history? Do not mix up Jim Crow with slavery. Do you know slavery was worldwide and was not limited to black or America.
@@ljakp7327 I don’t think you understand what you’re talking about. Jim Crow laws were still applicable until 1965, and several years after that were not that different either. But do Rwandese learn the history about slavery do they know how blacks ended up in the Caribbean ,south America , North America ?I watched part of the video but two ladies made me stop watching it and got pissed
When the camera person zoomed in on that big forehead @11:51 😂😂😂 the camera person was saying that is how we know you are from Rondon😂😂😂 that made my day ..
@rocksiriose yes that is a forehead of noble,Rwandan kings &queens had foreheads and were extremely beautiful, infact in general it is so rare to see someone with forehead who is not beautiful,it is indeed a crown of beauty and royalty ,even most pharaohs of black egypt had foreheads and it said Rwandan kings&queens are their descendants.
I am a black American and I do Not even drink alcohol. I Never even Thought about taking drugs. Neither has anyone else in my family. Most black people I know do NOT even drink alcohol or smoke cigarettes. The images sent around the world via movies can be powerful. They are yet another reason why minority actors should be thoughtful about the kinds of things they say and do in movies/media.
the African American image portrayed on media is soo Bad. They portray them as drug addicts, into gangs, thieves who rob stores, don’t want to pay child support, tattoos all over their bodies, Loud, disrespectful, condescending, Lazy, depend on food stamps, uneducated, that’s the picture. That picture need to be changed because any other race can be all that not just African American. I know of latinas , Caucasian who are tattooed all over and are drug addicts and I know of descent African Americans who are killing it positively in different social settings.
Salute to you Ms. Clayton for a thoughtful response that I not only agree with but adhere to personally. In my own family I am not the only person of my generation who avoids any contact with drugs, alcohol or tobacco products. Unfortunately each of those evils in the past decimated and devastated my family. We don't really avoid these pitfalls because of our virtue we avoid them because literally we learned through the experiences of older family members. I agree with every word you wrote you sound like a very bright and interesting woman. In fact many of the comments here encourage me because while I don't agree with some, a significant number demonstrate substance, intelligence and thoughtfulness. Thank you.
all they think about is the money, like their handlers tell them. Cause thats the only kind of people they want to hire. People that do as they are told and take the money.
everyone is in their feelings over the womans comment. she is simply saying that , its what she constantly see broadcasted. lets be honest , its all negative black stereotypes, being put on a pedestal and celebrated.
As a Foundational BLK American, we are not living in a "foreign" country. The USA is our country. We literally built this country. There was no country called USA until we built it. The USA didn't exist until 1776... Foundational BLK Americans have literally been here before 1776 (before the USA existed). Lastly, Foundational BLK Americans have fought in every war for this country. From the Revolutionary War, to the Civil War, to WW1/WW2, etc, etc... Every "Civil Right" that minorities currently have, Foundational BLK Americans fought for them, etc, etc ... WE LITERALLY BUILT THIS COUNTRY. ---- Speaking of culture, Foundational BLK Americans are the culture of America. And, Foundational BLK American culture is the most copied culture on the planet. We Are The Culture. ---- Foundational BLK American (FBA) 💯
Your analysis is inaccurate. My ancestors have been in America since 1620, it was called British Colonial America or the Republic of New Hampshire, the Colony of Massachusetts, Pennsylvania; no slaves, invented most of the engineering, shipping, armaments, built their own homes and barns, grew their own crops . You may have built some the south, but you did NOT build the north. And even though they did not owe anything to slaves, sacrificed their children to free you and ran the Undergound Railroad. Your typically black activist bs just doesn't gel with history, only a part of it where you can be the eternal victim.
This is sad I’m Jamaican living in America and I have learn the history of African American and I started to understand them, they have been fighting from the moment they was shipped to America and they are still fighting. for a place to belong. This interview only entertains profound ignorance that the global pan africans are continuously fighting against...just image a young african american child having parents who are conscious with a radar view and support for african issues...what if an african american ignorant of people of ruwanda and said they are simple minded to the point where outside forces were able to have them kill eachother, but of course we wouldn't entertain such foolishness...but at the same time our institutions of education are doing a horrible job at educating both shores of our peoples..it's times we pick more available resources to crush all negative stereotypes....Africans Americans are awakening slowly yet steadily..continental africans are awakening as well.....let's build the needed bridges of education...and a tomorrow for all of us...

As a Rwandan, I have to say that unfortunately one of the biggest exports America sends to Rwanda is MEDIA. Media in general doesn’t portray black Americans in a good way. All we saw as Rwandan kids was rap music, drugs, sex, movies and sports and that was it. We didn’t see black business men/women, engineers, doctors…etc(it doesn’t mean that they are not there, the media just doesn’t find them “cool” or sometimes “not black enough”). It’s crazy that when I’m in Europe, I’m considered to be very similar to “media black American”. In addition, media does the same bad representation of Africa as a hunger and war stricken continent, where real life illiterate barbarians live. Most Rwandans haven’t met any black Americans and of course vice-versa. What Rwandans should do is try to educate themselves away from the media(which was/still is owned by white Americans) and know the harsh difficulties that generations of our black brothers and sisters in America had to go through. Those Rwandans who don’t like black Americans, it’s 99.9% not from personal experience. It’s actually very good that you made this video(it’s very cringe to watch😣)…we have to face reality in order to change it. And black Americans reading this, please know that those Rwandans in that video don’t represent the whole country. Rwandans in general love people(it doesn’t matter where you’re from) as long as you’re being good and respectful; if you don’t believe it, go and see it for yourselves. Don’t let media make you hate an entire country just like we’ve just seen it.
American media overwhelmingly shows black people in high positions. It's not a secret. Also social media exists. Thats like Americans seeinging Rwandans as nothing but killers bc of history but that's never been the case.
But guys... do you blame them??? The same way the news has always portrayed the whole of Africa as a war struck "country" with jungle killings, is the same way the media has portrayed mostly young black american men as the ones always involved in drug crimes, the ones always in gang shootings, the ones who always rob stores, the ones who always are in prison and the women as very loud and obnoxious. The list is endless! Its time for social media to correct both impressions.
No ! It's time for some Africans, as well as Black Americans, to stop being so reliant, on the content that social media provides and instead, if you are wholeheartedly interested and are not lazy, to do your own analytical cross-referencing . Which would involve a plethora of different sources of information. The unintelligent responses, that were given by the obviously less informed, reminded me of what White Supremacy has been harkening about people of color as a collective. Regardless, as to what continent you reside or claim as home. Could it be, that the attitudes are only a reflection of the previous stranglehold of colonialism ? I have visited Ethiopia, on two occasions, met a Rwandan gentleman named Awadi (African Prince of Rwanda is what I would scream to him from across the street and all the white people would stop and look at him admirably), dated an Eritrean, Zimbabwean, good friends to a Togolese couple (the wife wants to give me her younger sister, because she likes me herself) and the encounters go on and on. I am approaching retirement and if that becomes a reality, I will spend more time, in many countries, on the continent of Africa. Oh ! Awadi said to me, "If ever I go to Rwanda, let him know.. My intent, whenever I go, is not to stay in a hotel. But instead, to be with the people as much as possible. Be well.
But our people are furthering the filth ourselves for profit. In my real life I don't see half the things going on that black social media complain about.
Understood however if we stop doing it there would be nothing to put on the media. We’re clearly doing it!!! And those portrayed in Africa are doing it too. If WE as blacks/ Africans stop doing these things there will be nothing to post on the media but we keep doing it. It may not be all of us but it is certainly looking like that because some of us just won’t stop
As a black american, We have something called ratchet culture, That is definitely mixed in But it's not all of us, From an individual standpoint we're all different.. Don't be silly , there is undoubtable statistics to say that we have a lot of issues. But ultimately we are american culture. So, as for some of their opinions that maybe negative.I don't think it's a bad thing.I think it's honest opinion. We don't need to be cuddled..
I agree but we’re fighting against a system of systemic racism… From credit score to black jobs the game has change. This system is a game for the wealthy, to “not be like us”
I think that many people judge African Americans with unfairness because they can not comprehend, or conceive what a few hundred years of brutality, the devoid of humanization of slavery can totally change a person. And through such change a new kind of native makes itself, different from Africans. And that difference, so that it eventually grows into its own maturity, is a fine work in progress Nothing is lacking in these new natives, as some people wrongly, ignorantly perceive.
@@ucheanamonye4799 yes it is. but at this present. The situation is very much a work in progress, that I am certain will progress to full and rightful conclusion. All of Mankind has had to go through a process of becoming. A process of freeing oneself from experiences that have been delayed or interfered from coming into one's own. This period is very painful and disconcerting. But, for this reason, the need to eventually, finally come into one's own is the prize of any struggle made. Mankind is strong, determined, and willful. It knows what it wants. It senses what it is. And in doing so, it will fight to arrive at coming on/of/to its own. There is much hope and promise within this excruciating but wonderful process, but it calls for patience. Thank you.
but Africans went through this too. There is no point in living victimizing yourself, instead, look for what is good and correct what is bad. immorality in the North American population is great, not to mention that the country itself is violent and full of crime. more developed than South and Central America, however in terms of violence there is not much difference.
Well most Africans have never met any black Americans, personally I meet many white Americans in Africa but never an African Americans, we only see them on TV, mainly in music and Hollywood movies, thats brings a lot of disinformation about them
Ages ago most of black Americans never travelled abroad especially to Africa, I don’t know if they were brainwashed not travel to Africa in order to don’t connect to their roots and realise that they don’t deserve to be slaves. They were put in position of not being able to afford a “travelling budget” so they don’t go back home, but to live and remain in America and Europe as slaves, serving their masters with little rewards! Only nowadays they have awakened after realising that they were deceived and kept hidden from knowing their beautiful rich and holy culture they have from their ancestors! Now their masters have become so successful in building the gap between black Africans and black Americans / Europeans etc. Pretty sad really 😢

It's astonishing how one person can harbor hatred towards another group, especially black individuals, irrespective of their location. As a black immigrant who has spent more than two-thirds of my life in US, I hold deep admiration and gratitude for African Americans; without their struggles, my own existence would be different. I think these women express their views not out of disdain for African Americans, but rather from a place of privilege that comes with awareness...
"The video's staggering ignorance highlights the imperative to scrutinize televised content critically. It's crucial for individuals to educate themselves thoroughly before expressing opinions. The perpetuation of false narratives, akin to those disseminated by National Geographic about Africa, underscores the necessity for unity among African Americans and Africans. Let's prioritize education and understanding; reading is a fundamental tool for enlightenment and unity. ✌️❤"
Well-said. I may also say western cultural centers in Africa, promote ignorance to Africans. I once went to the American cultural center in Africa, in Burundi to see movie. Guess which movie they showed us? It was a movie showing Black gangs in the USA shooting each other. I instinctively felt this was not right, and was part of disinformation promoting bad image of Black Americans in Burundi and at that time, I never even traveled out of Burundi.

To whoever is watching this, let me make this clear as a Congolese who is also a proud pan-african: there is always going to be ignorance on either side because no matter how we don't want to admit it, we really don't understand each other. - The girl speaks truth because sexual acts does get unnecessarily normalized in the U.S. (Black bros and sisters are there, so you gotta take that L-I'm sorry) - Notice that most of africans and black Americans share deep admiration. Family spirit, right? - Nuances will always be there, because our exposures are different but brotherhood comes first. - 'They are f'd up there, and they don't belong there. they belong here,' a hard truth. - African is so big. This video was shot in Rwanda. Keep that in mind b4 you generalize. Our cultures are different, but what surprised me is how our souls are connected. I just feel it whenever I meet a brother or sister. It is amazing. May God keep showing us a way home.
We have been so divided against each other thru moves. I hope our communication on social media can help improve that. Remember the Hutsi and Tutsi 's... we must come together

I recently traveled through east africa And I noticed that east africans are quite sensible. They are raised being afraid of doing drugs and smoking marijuana. It's like a lot of them.Don't even know about it. They have a sense of innocence compared to the west. The women are very traditional people know their place in their society. And that's something that I really liked aboutraveling through east africa and speaking to a lot of them they seem very friendly.
True. In East Africa, people are more quiet, more sense of innocence, not aggressive, more peaceful. West African people are loud, aggressive, more opinionated, and more easy to get upset and ready to fight back
@SGOA32178 I believe African Americans women are from West Africa. Looking at Nigerian women and Jamaican women and African Americans women, I don't see much difference. They are truly sisters. Nit just about being loud, but about many other behaviors. 😅🤣
Very interesting. Thank you for patiently asking the people what they think and encouraging them to think it through some more. This helps everyone rethink the consequences of how people act in real life and on media.
Willie you should try to let them respond in kinyarwanda and put subtitles. English doesn’t come easy for most, you will get better truer opinion when expressing their opinions freely.
This is what I was thinking as i watched. Willie you must understand that Rwanda was a Francophone country until recently. So most of them cannot express themselves well in English.
I am an African American woman who lives in America. Proud of it! Best place to live, still! A lot of people would rather live here moreso than Rwanda. Look at the legal and illegal immigrants losing their minds to get here; it's ridiculous! Unfortunately, I agree. With some folks that a lot of African Americans misrepresent our race and make the race as a whole look really bad. However, there are also a lot of African Americans who are great people morally and ethically, who are about the right thing, who love their family, fellow man, communities and country. There are some bad actors in every country, even there in Rwanda. That's why its important not to judge a whole group of people due to a few bad folk; that's not fair. When you think about it, there is never a situation when we can say EVERYONE in a race is all bad, whether they be Muslim, Christian, black, white, etc. We are all individuals with different personalities, beliefs, morals, standards, etc. At the end of the day, personally, I don't particularly care what Rwandans nor any other country or race thinks of me; it doesnt matter. And who are they? Those who have a problem with anyone else is THEIR problem, their opinion. I only care what Jesus Christ thinks of me. He is Who we all should strive to impress. Only what we do for Christ will last! It is He who has a heaven and hell waiting on the other side of this life. Where will YOU spend eternity? See what I mean?😊

Furthermore, I found it unjust that you interrupted the young lady's audio discourse at the timestamp of 14:34 And if you're about fair journalism, Why did you not afford her the opportunity to express her perspective, especially considering the positive discourse surrounding African Americans and the distinctions between our communities and theirs?

She doesn’t know our history in dealing with these folks. When slavery ended, Jim Crow and systemic barriers were being implemented towards us while white folks were having their life subsidized. Any progress that we made in the form of wealth was knocked back. Africans really need to see how many racial massacres that melanated Americans endured. See the terrorist groups that we had to face. They are usually quite shocked after meeting American Africans; regarding how much they (Rwandans) thought they knew. The cognitive dissonance is visually observable.
Cognitive dissonance here? hahahhah Do you even know what that means? No, this is called having an opinion, and social media is (for them), I would say, plenty enough to figure out the attitudes of black americans. Deal with it, they don't like your type.
jealousy 😭. No one is jealous of akatas. I promise. You guys just can’t stand criticism and think everyone who dislikes you is because of jEAlouSy when that’s not the case at all.
It’s not jealousy black Americans and Africans have a negative perception of each other based on what we both were thought through history and media by the white man there are a lot of black Americans. They also have bad shit to say about Africans there are a lot of Africans that have a lot of bad shit to say about black Americans. It’s both ways so let’s not act like act like one-sided
She’s is a real African woman and she’s not fake, What she’s saying is don’t stuck in past standup yourself and believing you’re the best person and move forward, ETC
Kenyans are very hospitable. They are exposed and can reason things out. We are open and more tolerant to other cultures across the globe. Some African countries still have closed cultures they are not so open even to other African cultures, e.g, Rwanda. Clearly though that one girl is just ignorant she believes everything in the movies and the dark skinned one just wants herself a Rwandese man to keep her culture to each their own. Yal welcome to Kenya 🇰🇪 ❤.
The strangest thing about life is that when you've never been anywhere to see for yourself, you have a tendency to think that what you hear about others is true.
If your parents and grandparents were kidnapped from what is called Nigeria, taking to Brazil but you were not captured and remained in Nigerian, where are your roots?
@MrHello-nx4xs Unfortunately not everyone grasps that concept. I had a back and forth recently with some Black Americans who although knowledged that their great, great, great grandparents were slaves, do not believe that their ancestry started in Africa!
@@errolsmith5634 No, we all come from the stars, even africans. Well, except from Adam and Eve, then the star people came. Well, you people don't know shit anyways.
I understand these women because they have a different culture from the American Blacks. It is the same as saying all South American countries are all the same people. No, they are not just because they share the same skin color. Also, Rwandan speak very softly and not angry and show intentions of beating up the person. Very well mannered.
1033 comments and not a single person has pointed out that 3 of the 5 women have positive/neutral things to say about black Americans. People need to get a grip, and stop fixating on negativity. This is just a fun an entertaining video, not something that needs to be taken very seriously. 😊
Anywhere you go in this world there will be people who say positive things and people who say negative things. And some people will mature over time and realize they didn't understand. My wife is African and she is God sent. I used to get upset when I heard negative things about Black America. But I know Black America is International and I know our contributions. Also I know African contributions. So on and off the continent ***WE*** have made major contributions to this planet.
C'mon man are you for real? With all of these knuckle head in here you should have done your due diligence and been more professional by posting disclaimers etc in your videos :
What a naive statement. You don't have to keep making stupid videos like this. You aren't doing it with any other race. Obviously, you have an obsession with Americans. You bring nothing informative with these types of videos. Another simpleminded youtuber with a camera trying to do anything to get views/subscribers.
I don’t understand why people are getting irritated with Willie funga it’s not him who told this woman to say what she said. He’s just a young man trying to make content in which ever way he can. When you make educational videos some people don’t show up but gossip videos people run to…. Getting back to the point. Rwanda is an extremely closed off country even for Africa. What people 99% know of foreigners is what they see on TV. Black Americans, being in Rwanda is below subzero percent thus they have little to no actual experience with them. They are looking at movies like boyz in the hood and posing the question would you date get along or do business with that. This is how you have to see it…. In proper context they don’t even know what a black American is. As an example, people in these very comments are arguing that black Americans are loud (remember most judgment is through ones tv) due to being from Nigeria or having decedents from west Africa. This is called sudo science. The first people from Africa to the United States was taken from central Southern Africa in a place called Angola, the next people were taken from west Africa in a country that no longer exist called the bight of Biafra. The next group after that were the trading between Arabs and Europeans within east Africa, (Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, etc) black Americans are a blend of central southern African, west, & eastern African. The loudness Nigeria debate proves my point, they don’t know where we come from or who we are outside of movies speculation & mobile internet. Rwanda is very tribal & it’s why we had A genocide, people live in cast systems. You very much are what your tribe is, It’s like crabs in a bucket. You will never see a purple rains “prince” from Rwanda or a Marvin Gaye from Rwanda. Ever. People are very closed minded & more focused on the division within their tribes vs finding the beauty within their uniqueness, yes even after a genocide. Rwanda is also very oppressed, some of the night time party people that I ever met in my entire life are rawandese but you would never know it because everything is done in secret, hidden, the dark. While I am giving H to this total stranger in a night club. By Day I am the perfect church representative for my tribe. As black Americans we shouldn’t get offended, Africa & Rwanda has a long way to grow. You have to treat as if you are dealing with a kid who needs a little bit more special attention vs the other kids in the classroom. When they are saying they don’t like 100% of you they are talking about a tv screen not you.
I'm touched by your endeavors to correct the offense. Black americans watching this video shouldn't take some of these opinions personally; they are based on little information they have.
Rwanda hasn’t been tribal for the last 3 decades. In fact there’s a law that doesn’t permit you to speak about tribalism in politics. You might be confusing it with the neighboring drc (Congo). Where they currently have an ongoing war.
Sorry but just because one is trying to make some money doesn't mean you don't consider the consequences or impact that your content has on your audience. especially an audience that may have a very low attention span and lack of critical thinking. I'm so tired of seeing video titles of "Who hates Black People", "This is what _______thinks about Black ______" You must not think much of yourself if you have to put what some other person or group thinks of you at a high level of importance. I've heard young people in casual but heated conversation discussing "we're hated around the world, nobody likes us". Repeat something long enough and the lie becomes the truth in your own eyes, irregardless of what the "other" really feels.
We have to change being set up to be divided against each other. Maybe social media is the way.bwe must never forget the genocide of Hutsi and Tutsi 's caused by France. U here is a reason the hyksos (Assyria, Persian, Greece & Roman's set up the cast system like the USA set up ghettos and reservations & like the colonizers set up borders. Africa is for Africans, we don't know who our real enemies are, so we turn in on each other
@@thedailycheckpointthree decades is not a very long time. That’s only one generation. A lot of the people alive during it could be still alive now. I still have a hard time understanding how it was even possible for something like that to happen in a modern country like Rwanda in the 1990’s.

I don't blame her for the lies she has been told. True enough the vast majority of black Americans deal with or celebrate dysfunction, hatred, and distruction of our own race. So if she said some or most that would've been acceptable. Leave this woman alone and place blame where it lies...The media who don't have our (black people) interest at heart.
I appreciate the interview. This topic wasn't easy. It highlights our negative perception of our fellow Black Americans. However, I love how our sisters were honest and expressed all their thoughts and tried their best to overcome the language barrier we actually suffer from. I was trying to answer to the questions at the same time in my mind, but I wish our english proficiency would grow though we have made a significant progress. It's unfortunate that we didn't have many appreciations, negative viewpoints seemed to dominate.
We love you guys in Southern Africa. Yes this true. We had versions of jim crowe/aparthied all over southern African nations, so we can relate. Other Africans in the East West Central and even North of the continent are also waking up. But i feel it's up to Aftican Americans/Caribbeans/diaspora continental Africans who are well aware, to galvanise the tribes and unite us all once and for all. So we can't easily be moved by disagreements any more. We have no more time.
A note about the women who has never met an African American - this is why it's so important that Black Americans guard how we're represented in the media. Keep in mind, Black American women have Sexxy Red, Meg the Stallion, Ice Spice etc. representing them around the world. So yeah, you may encounter people who may have never met a Black American but will assume we're sex workers and hyper sexual based on what they see in the media and that is our fault for accepting and promoting those images of us.
@@benjamincherimusic2305 Oh goodness, that is far from correct. For many black americans, these ancestors were parents or grandparents who had been denied jobs, denied education, denied the opportunity to live in nice neighborhoods alongside whites within the US. This meant that most present day black Americans were born into poverty with lesser education and lesser overall opportunities than the rest of the American population. These parents and grandparents are tired, depressed, defeated from the abuse, etc they were dealt during the civil rights era and present day black children are born into and raised within a broken down community like this. Where on earth are you getting that black American presently are not suffering in America?
They get their news from the media, and that’s Sad how people judge people that they don’t know so Sad and my Husband is from Ethiopia and I am a Black American woman.❤😮😊
As an African American, I’m not really offended, but I am a touch surprised that the image of us makes them standoffish. And they’d truly believe what they learn on the internet as their final narrative of us. The last two girls at least are willing to know us, but the rest of the others seem to be very close minded. Not unlike people here. Which is why you go to other nations and grit the real information for yourself.
Not all of us as Africans think bad about African Americans. Most of us love you and think that you are great people. Don't let a few Africans make you hate all African people. I've seen a lot of African Americans and Caribbeans saying they hate us Africans but that doesn't make me hate you all. We are all one people
If you lived in Africa .. you would think very differently.. 😂😂, you'll quickly learn that you are not African. Just start thinking and behaving like the average African man on the continent and you find a significant decline in your income.
Honestly I don't think this guy should have conducted this interview. I myself I was born in Rwanda,I am currently living in USA,I really know more about African Americans. The information Rwandan people know is less than 1% of what they supposed to know. As you can see those who already met African Americans have better understanding.
African Americans only make up 13% of the American country with a white population of about 62%. Blacks enslaved for 400years ,whites have the political advantage, economic, social, military, media& all other strategic advantages in America. With that said, when you see all the strife, hopelessness, ignorance among African Americans in America, they have story behind the circumstances with all the disadvantages. Now to the native Africans who look down on African Americans, you africans populate 90% or more of their continent, you are the owners of your continent, yet you allow a very small percent of whites, indians, arabs,&Asians come to your continent and control your governments, extract& control your gold,wood,diamonds,oil,children,ect.,ect.,ect., you allow them to install your leaders, own your corporations, and you treat all non black foreigners with a lowly spirit of servitude. So while you Africans look down on American blacks,,it is the outnumbered American Blacks who have a legitimate excuse for there circumstances. But you native Africans being the populous owners of your land and continent, yoooou haaaave nooo excuse for you circumstances. STOP LOOKING DOWN ON BLACKS IN AMERICA &START LOOKING IN THE MIRROR INSTEAD BECAUSE IT IS YOU WHO SHOULD BE IN A BETTER CIRCUMSTANCE THAN THEM. YOU ARE THE RICHES CONTINENT &YOUR OUT NUMBER THE WHITES IN YOUR LAND YET YOU LIVE THE WEAKEST& POOREST. IT IS THE AFRICAN AMERICAN WHO SHOULD BE LOOKING DOWN ON YOU!!!!!!!! GET YOU PERSPECTIVE STRAIGHT!

It goes to Show how POWERFUL Media is..Smh
As a Nigerian you're very correct FACT
I agree but we’re fighting against a system of systemic racism…
From credit score to black jobs the game has change.

Thank you for reminding me to stay positive. You're a blessing my brother.
C'mon man are you for real?
With all of these knuckle head in here
you should have done your due diligence and been more professional by posting disclaimers etc in your videos
:
What a naive statement. You don't have to keep making stupid videos like this. You aren't doing it with any other race. Obviously, you have an obsession with Americans. You bring nothing informative with these types of videos. Another simpleminded youtuber with a camera trying to do anything to get views/subscribers.
One black people and one AFRICA 🌹♥️💋💥
I needed to see this.
Don’t let represent 2 billion black people on the continent
God said we’d be hated by everyone let ‘em hate us
I don’t understand why people are getting irritated with Willie funga it’s not him who told this woman to say what she said.
Sentia (Cynthia) is definitely gonna be an internet sensational. She's gonna trend like crazy.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
she's going to trend the wrong way. A tell me You're backward without telling me you're backward meme.

Not all African-American people are the same and live in America. I can tell you stories about how mean some African-American women was to me but I’m not holding anybody against all my brothers and sisters.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇸🇴🇸🇴🇸🇴🥰🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️🫶🫶🫶
What i got from this is we as black people we have alot of work to do to heal our people 🙏🏿
I'm a continental African and what I got from it is that there is a lot of ignorance out there.
And all i got from this was laughter 😂 im sorry - i love you both but I got bigger problems than this
Not everyone thinks the same way. Those ladies don't speak for all of Africa. Ignorance comes from a lack of knowledge and understanding.
Great insight.. it’s good to know how Africans feel about us Black Americans..
🖤🖤🖤
We are same people 💯. The only difference I see is culture wise which is understandable.
No we are NOT BLACK
@@exalteduchiha1563l hope that's working out well for you!
Big Facts! Our African Brothers and Sisters need to Read 📚 Books about each other's historical struggles and Black Experiences....
No us Africans are different.
@strawberry-jq9fu Yes! In our minds. And our historical experiences... Nevertheless we all come from the same roots....
From the States. I could never hate you Rwanda. Much love
We belong in America we're not Africans my ancestry is here
@nubianpaige It's like you're not even convinced of that yourself and you're trying to convince others!
Your ancestry is in Africa; don't get it twisted. That doesn't mean the US isn't your home
Why is there Nubian in your name then Confucious??
The one who who suffered for America was your ancestors not you
And your ancestors were not born in America but from Africa
None of my business
As an African American, I’m not really offended, but I am a touch surprised that the image of us makes them standoffish. And they’d truly believe what they learn on the internet as their final narrative of us. The last two girls at least are willing to know us, but the rest of the others seem to be very close minded. Not unlike people here. Which is why you go to other nations and grit the real information for yourself.
It’s so said that us black Americans think so highly of Africans and this is what they think of us smh
Not all of us as Africans think bad about African Americans. Most of us love you and think that you are great people. Don't let a few Africans make you hate all African people. I've seen a lot of African Americans and Caribbeans saying they hate us Africans but that doesn't make me hate you all. We are all one people

Thank you for sharing this video and i appreciate this
That is true and what she saying we do try to be more white orientated than being African orientated
If you lived in Africa .. you would think very differently.. 😂😂, you'll quickly learn that you are not African. Just start thinking and behaving like the average African man on the continent and you find a significant decline in your income.
We are not Africans. We are Black Americans. We have our own culture. Most of these Africans come failed cultures.
Not true I am a black American and don’t want to align myself with them
NO ITS NOT, US BLACK AMERICANS ARE UNAPOLOGETICALLY BLACK AND PROUD AND DO NOT WANT TO BE WHITE , WE LOVE OURSELVES
Because black people living in America are not in Africa, so why model themselves after people they don't live around?
He made this video knowing he will get more clicks so he can get paid.. Controversy pays well, unfortunately.
They hate us but love our culture. Make that make sense!
We don’t 🤢🤮
Who cares, they not shit anyway
Where you not listening? We DO NOT love your culture
Stop generalising...those few ladies cannot speak on behalf of all Rwandans. I'm a Rwandan and I have worked with black Americans .Black Americans are our brothers. In Rwanda already we have many black Americans who have settled in Rwanda and we welcome them.Every society has good and bad people .We love black Americans. Welcome to Rwanda and Africa at large.Much love from Rwanda ❤
Which culture..drugs,hoes en guns😂
It is INSANE how much in common WE as traditional people from southeast Europe have in common with the Rwandese people. Actually, we are almost the same in thinking. Skin colour is negligible it is only America and the other colonial countries that spread racism. Rwandans seems amazingly humble and what a great culture
She is them.... Our sisters in Rwanda 🇷🇼 need to Read 📚... Books 📚 about the Black ⚫️ Experience in America 🇺🇸! Since 1619 until present day. Ignorance and Self Hatred runs deep in us as a people globally......We all have been Mis-Inforned, Mis-Educated, and Mis-Led.... 😢😢😢😢

They don't hate themselves. They just don't like black americans, it is simple, you need to learn to deal with it.
How many black Americans read books about any African country?
@timestory243 Many! But not enough...... In Fact, we read 📚 more books 📚 about Black ⚫️ African History than any other group of our people on earth 🌎. The root problem with all of us is no interest in self and kind....
