- The national percentage of African Americans who get married is at a low 32%. Making us the least married group in America. Which means Black women is the least married group of women in America. This is due to many reason like, child hood house hold dynamic, past traumas, and simply because men seek marriage outside the race. I could just blame it all on slavery and just give up. Or maybe it's time to move on and step into the current reality.
Men like women. That means feminine women. When women focus on being strong and independent that means they neglect their roles as a woman. They don't commit to the relationship. They prioritize being independent over their present relationship.
Black men date outside their race, because there are very few good women for them. I am white, but my impression is that black men prefer black women, but most of the black women just aren't marriage material or set the wrong standards. Black women prefer to date Chad and Tyrone. The good guys are left emptyhanded and forced to date outside their race.

A man cannot leave a home he never lived in. A lot of people having kids together, don’t even live in the same house if they aren’t married. That’s a misconception!

Your first point in muted by your second point .We can’t be raised to serve a person that isn’t there 💀 in a black family if th man is around , he is being catered to for sure- even way more than he should
I wish we could take some of these stigmas away and everyone should do what is right for themselves. Not every situation is right for everyone and not everyone wants to be married. We in my opinion should be striving for healthy relationships

stop it. slavery plays absolutely NO ROLE. stop this blaming culture. take accountability. black women choose to get knocked up by pookies and ray rays. Those "men" were raised by other single baby mamas.
Slavery actually does not play a huge role for the simple fact that bw had higher marriage rates than ww until the 1960s. The demise of the black family is due to welfare, social policies, & feminism.
you have to look at the systematic racism and even internalized racism that led to these issues such as welfare and social polices- that created the decline of marital status in the black community . These issues would not exist if not for the impact slavery had on American society
@@UnCommentaryBri replace welfare with reparations. Do you think bw would have still chosen to be independent & unmarried? Because as people we do have free will. Even during the most racist periods in this country the black family was intact. Jim Crow segregation nor slavery could break the black family. But a few dollars from welfare could? I understand your lower economic implication of racist actions towards blacks. But I’d argue if bw had been given reparations, they would have left bm just the same. In fact, in the Moynihan report, stated that in the 1960s, once bm employment increased, poverty of black children & families & bw marriage rates did not decrease. The government could not understand why. So, technically that kind of mutes your economic point. The reality is that bw do not wholly want to be married with a family. There is no other conclusion to resolve this issue.
