As a women shooting this gun with my husband I was extremely surprised how little recoil and kick there was. This gun felt comfortable while holding it and was fun to shoot!
It is on the list to get you one, Just haven't found a pink one in this caliber yet.

I am from nj and I bought this and the guys made fun of me. My friend who is a shooting instructor told me about the round. 350 legend is amazing and should be way more popular than it is.
Some people suck as I am not sure why anyone would make fun of you for getting a 350 Legend as there is nothing to be made fun of. The 350 Legend is perfect for states that limit your rifle options, can shoot farther than a slug gun, more accurate than a slug gun, the rounds are cheaper than the slugs for a slug gun. Recoil is minimal and the kinetic energy puts deer down as long as you keep it within its range which max is 200 yards which is plenty far enough. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine. You can never predict what a deer will do after the shot. I have a couple dozen deer under my belt with a Marlin 30-30. Some would roll over and play dead, others would run till they were all but empty of blood.

I am sorry I do not have the box anymore so I am unsure. I know when you look at Savage's website it's not on there, neither was it when I bought it. I do not know why savage doesn't show these camo options on their website. However after searching the internet it looks like this may be it

What ammo were you using?
I use Winchester Power Point 180 grain with my 350 Legend. I have shot one deer with it so far and she acted like she was going to take a step and then fell right down. It's light, short, doesn't kick and puts down deer without issue ( so far ), range is limited based on the data to 200 yards or so but 200 is twice as far as I have ever shot a deer so it will work just fine for me. I love mine dropped the only deer I've shot so far and at 80 yards as far as I can shoot in my back yard 3 shot group all touching . This rifle is not for sale lol

I'd have to shoot them side by side, It's been a long time since I have shot a 30-30 as I do not own one. The 350 Legend though is a great caliber especially if you have firearm restrictions where you hunt. Thanks for watching and good luck on your adventures !
