These are the shots I feel really good about. Deer just feels a bee sting and then acts like “huh? That was weird” and the thinks “man I am sleepy I am going to lie down a bit” and then falls asleep forever.
We were using 180 gr deer season. We dropped down to the 150 xp's (No particular reason). Haven't had a problem with either harvesting a deer. My father-in-law, was complaining about the 150, but he was really making bad shots and blaming the ammo...LOL...
My experience with the 150s has been good. Shot a buck with it this year, and he dropped in his tracks. Double lung at about 80 yards, it was like turning off a light switch. Just dead right there
same, i really dont understand the bullshit ppl are on nowadays with saying .350L isnt worth using......they say JUST GET A 450 be a man.... recoil isnt the issue its the ammo availability lol i barely see 450 in my area, and when i do its 60-70 bucks a box for winchester super X lol
@korazjian5251 i dislocated my dominant shoulder. So the recoil for me with the 450 is actually a major issue. But i agree. 450 is great. But it's really overkill for deer. I'll take my 350 all day long
@@jonquirk9582 right on brother ain’t no shame on the game I’m just wanting to get back into rifle hunting as I’ve compound bow hunt past few years. Not sure which one is worth it. I’ve shot a buddies 350 more than enough to get familiar with the round I’m just worried on distance with it. I’ve heard good things on both side of the fence I’m just at a stand still before I setup a rifle lol
@korazjian5251 i went with the savage 110 apex in 350 if that helps at all. The 350 is good to hit minute of deer out to 250yards. Mine shoots just over 1 moa at 100
@@jonquirk9582 nice, I was looking at getting their 110 hog Hunter. It’s on sale at my LGS for about 650 with a vortex CF2. What’s the difference between the hog hunter and the apex?
I've shot 4 deer with the 180gr. Power Point rounds, 3 dropped instantly the other ran 30 yds, I recovered the bullet on this deer, perfect expansion at 100 yds. I shot another deer twice with the 150 Deer Season at 50 ft, it just stood there for 10 seconds then trotted off. All I found was a little fur, no blood. Hours later I found a massive blood spatter at the edge of the property. Never found the deer. I won't be using that ammo again.
My 35 Rem is basically the same with 200 gr @2080! I’ve never had a deer stand like that! They either drop in the spot or start a frantic run ,never over 40 yds! I don’t see that that round created enough shock! Wish that you showed the exit! My 30-06 used to do that, exiting like a pencil hole when I used 180s but made wicked exits when I switched to 150s! They’re constructed more frangibly for better expansion on thin skinned game! No disrespect but I don’t like that reaction to the 350 Legend!
Why not wait for the new 360 Remington. Check it out. It is made for lever action rifles. Henry is making three lever actions and a single shot for the new round. Better internal ballistics by far. It's a ballistic twin to the .35 Remington.
@@gunkanjima3408 The deer did not even react like any deer I've seen that's been shot. No blood either. I've shot deer with a 350 legend before double lung that had blood literally pouring out of them and fell within 20 yards. Shot placement is important with any caliber. I swear by this gun in a straight wall cartridge state. My guess is he was using 150 grain and after slowing it down looks like he may of hit a single lung by the way the deer arched, also looks like the bullet didnt pass through. 180 will rip right through and leave blood.
The hell are you talking about? The deer was dead in less than a minute. It felt a sting, heard a strange noise and peacefully fell asleep. You can't ask for a cleaner kill unless you hit it directly in the heart.
@@colbywhite7198 WTF are you talking about, the deer was alive for close to two and a half minutes. I've never shot a deer and had it live longer than maybe 30 seconds this is a very poor big game round

That deer was surely eating a lot of snow for a long time. After hunting 50 years , I just learned deer love snow.
Love it Brother!! I plan on getting a 350 legend this summer. We can use them during primitive season where I'm from.

I wasn’t impressed with that kill shot either, just bought a 350 legend and plan to use Barnes copper solid bullets, hopefully I have better results
Great hunt!
Yes congratulations
RIP bambi
What brand and grain ammo were you using ?
We have been using the 150g deer season xp and haven't had a deer make it 40 yards yet.
Video about the beers good but what's up with the bottom 1/4 of the screen
What camera are you using?
No tracking!!!👍👍
Perfect neck shot
wow that girl held her head awhile dam

@@Mark-uq9kmwait a full season, miss a season, just waiting on the manufacturing? This makes no sense.
Was she carrying twins?
Dead deer
That's awesome
Looks like a clean passthrough. The bullet did not expand!
Is it always such a slow kill when you shoot small deer with a 350 Legend? Had been thinking of one but that kinda really put me off
Don't buy one. they seem on the edge of too small.
@@winstonjones7519 Yeah think thats gonna be 35 Rem for me
Nice! You will not have any trouble with that round.@@joelodjick230
To be honest I thought he missed. Most likely a one-off, but seems weird the deer barely moved and still stood his ground. Where did you hit him?

I shot the biggest buck ive ever harvested with a 350 legend. DRT
Cva cascade?
I thought that by the topic, that the deer must've expired quickly but that obviously wasn't the case.
Well, "doesn't know what hit it" works just as good for "stood around for a while, laid down, and very slowly died" I guess?

There was no shot taken!
I have a 350 Legend, however, I will be getting a 360 Buck Hammer as soon as they are available.
That video speaks volumes as to why I Wouldn't own a .350 Legend.
why?
I don't quite understand that comment deer there didn't go 2 feet why would you not want that

I killed a 224 pound 8 point at 167 yards with a cva 350 legend single shot he ran about 10 yards before he dropped dead
@bluecrabchris kinda crazy,I can't believe how accurate my Scout is
Piss poor shot. You owe it to the animal to make a shot where they don't suffer. You need to go back to the range
Well... not a very human round there. Get a bigger gun.
Lmfao
It infuriates me how people are forced to use such an underpowered and inhumane cartridge like this.
I don't think anybody would call .35 Remington underpowered... why call 350 Legend underpowered?
Deer lack capacity to know what a bullet is. Your title is redundant.
Why do you spend so much time watching instead of just shooting it quickly? A big buck might have bolted and run leaving you with a nice video.
