@@WorldsWorstFishing I've been watching your customize playlist thank you for going over the equipment you use, for some reason it seems near impossible to google any information on making soft plastics. It seems like the run around just to find websites that sell plastisol or injection equipment. Thanks for the info, I'll have try some of the companies you have mentioned throughout the videos.

What worm oil do you use? Lurecraft worm oil seems to disolve or soak into my baits.
@@TheBaitCave all worm oil will soak into the baits, worm oil is basically softener, which is plasticizer. too much worm oil i the bags will result in your baits expanding and getting wayyyyy soft. Best thing is let them cure for multiple days before bagging with worm oil.

Those baits in that color scheme look great! As if fishing doesn't cost me enough money, watching these videos makes me want to buy bait making supplies and get out in the garage and make my own baits. Between watching you and Marling Baits, I want to get to work.

Have you ever worked with the Natural or Super Glow powders from Lureworks? I got some yesterday but just thought I'd ask.
If not and you want to try it eventually, stick with green. It glows the best and blue is ok. Purple was terrible. Don't know about aqua but it is most likely better than purple. Thanks for sharing.

I just received my twin injector I shoot a lot of crappie baits and having problems getting them 2 color is this just because of the size of them that one color fills it up or do you think im doing something wrong?

its a custom mold I had made...the guy who made it runs Viva Molds and Oracle Lures...he can make you something.
Scale a fish and grind up the scales and use that for the glitter.
What was in the bath that you put the baits in?

About to put in my first order for dead on plastic. Just curious how long 5 gallons lasts you and what the shelf life is. I only make plastics every so often so I’d hate to waste 5 gallons if it doesn’t last.
shelf life is many years...it lasts only as long as you make it haha

When you package your baits for sale do you put any type of oil in the bags(worm oil) or are they fine without? Maybe just enough to coat the inside of the bag.
I add worm oil if they wont sit right in the bags haha..i usually bag them dry or with scent on request.

@@BlackWaterDojo yes I have 2 custom CNC machined aluminum Injection designs...both guys who made them for me no longer make molds.. I'm not sure where to get custom c&c bait molds nowadays.

What's the plastisol like in stretch and toughness compared to the zman baits?
zman is not plastisol..its a cold injected rubber polymer, there is nothing as durable and stretchy as the zman stuff..
the plastisol I use and other brands are more like what you find in a bag of Zoom baits or Culprit etc.
Cheers we get some other brands but not those brands in Australia. Mostly gulp savage gear zman squidgies and a couple of smaller brands one man gu th s like yourself these seem to be fairly stretchy but course in texture when they tear if that makes sense.
Check out the dartspins there like the zman but what a mold they are bloody awesome the way they have all the holes and cut outside in them for the hooks. Action from the spinner tail is bloody good as well. Something a bit different

yes sir...we exchanged ideas and settled on the frog..now its my turn to make something with the mold and catch one on it!
So because you pour all your own baits, when one gets destroyed by a fish, do you save them to melt down and re pour? Or do you let the bait die in glory knowing it did its job?
I rarely save them...I guess because I know I can easily replace them.
