Congratulations! What a fun time of year to get engaged! Also, just wanted to say that you should be really careful about the items you’re selling that infringe on IP. It’s illegal to sell them online or in person and I’ve heard of a ton of crackdowns lately at both markets and e-commerce shops (Etsy, TikTok, Shopify, etc). Your stuff is so cute and I’d hate for you to get into any legal trouble. For my own business I just don’t think it’s worth it. Your cute original designs are more than enough to make you stand out!
Congrats!! I watch scrunchie makers use an item called a bodkin or bobkin. It's literally a stick with a clip on end to make threading elastic faster. Good luck and congrats again

I know exactly what you mean with balancing life and work. My husband and I both have our own businesses and we have neglected the house. I just did three baskets of laundry and the kitchen is a mess. I'm trying to work through all the chaos in my studio but trying to fulfill orders is a bit difficult when I'm working in clutter. but CONGRATULATIONS to the both of you again. Also, Dunkin in the background of your videos are too precious. Donut is adorable. Love them! Keep being AMAZING!

A long bodkin will be beneficial for inserting your elastic. Clover have one, but I believe there’s cheaper one in Amazon. I’m personally using a very long plastic one, which I bought online, coz Clover tend to be very expensive in my part of the world. 🤭

Congrats on the engagement! Yes there is a faster way I promise! If you get a long stick and make a hook in it, or maybe a stupid long crochet hook that can allow you to use the safety pin to hook onto it and pull all the way through.

There are lots of sharp objects involved (the needle itself and the griped frame) so I’d wait until teenage years

To save some time when cutting the fabric, you could fold it up multiple times (fold in half, half again, half again etc) & then just measure across the distance you need & cut through multiple layers at once (a rotary cutter is usually better for this). Then just cut the strips down to the right length. Hope you can picture what I mean!

a few things:
First: CONGRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTSSSSSSSSSSSS. I literally screamed when I seen the title.
Second: My almost two year old knows your face so when I started the video he goes "Mama our friend!" which I think is hilarious
Third: Get a walking foot for the sewing machine for the thicker fabrics, it's much smoother and a bodkin could make threading the elastic much easier or a loop turner that you can feed through the fabric and grip the elastic and then pull it through (just keep an eye on the end so that it doesn't get pulled in)
Fourth: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH CONGRAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Hello! I have a clip n glide to help me with the elastic for my crunches. It helps a lot! I got mine from clover. I hope that will help you guys with the elastic with those covers.

Maybe for putting the elastic in you could try using a long thin dowel rod and thumb tack the elastic to it.

I get you as a nail biter. I am one and I am trying to stop. I heard getting false nail or whatever it's called o er your natural nails can help break the habit and grow your nails. I can't do that due to the industry i work in but for my Christmas break I will be putting on nail polish to help prevent me from biting.
