Gene Yu is one of many things. Former U.S. Army Special Forces officer and author, Gene is most well-known for orchestrating a highly public and successful rescue mission of Evelyn Chang, a Taiwanese national who was kidnapped in November 2013 by Abu Sayyaf terrorists in Malaysia.Gene is currently the global head and Vice President of Corporate Development for migme, a fan-based social network platform largely based in Africa, Middle East, South and Southeast Asia. Gene is also the founder of FLOW MMA, a pan-Chinese aesthetic mixed martial arts fight gear and apparel company, based in Hong Kong.

I saw this video about a year ago and still cannot believe this video has not reached millions. This man and the SF community are real life warriors and heroes. Thank you so much for what you have done. God Bless everyone of you guys and the Philipino SF community.
His books are really good/funny and one of the best insights into daily life funny situations in the Green Beret, West Point and Rangers.

This video deserves more views and YGB(the book) deserves to be a hollywood movie. The script is probably written alr but just waiting for the hollywood execs to greenlight more asian american films. (After CRA and hopefully MCU movies)
