Its so good. These guys don't have a bad track in all of their albums. The riff is very Meshuggah like in its sound. You guys should react to Meshuggah as they're a huge influence on this band and many others in the Djent subgenre.
This makes me want a Meshuggah reaction! Please do *Meshuggah- Dancers to a Discordant System!* Nobody has reacted to it yet and it's a true masterpiece. Totally different from "Bleed"
Their first album is a masterpiece. Please react to “The price of everything and the value of nothing” or “Inamorata”. Both of those songs are incredible
What an insane track...they just keep getting better...scary...I like the video a lot, but would rather have just watched them playing it...they are just on another level...
The choreography is amazing! Really dig the style. Reminds me of the Bleed music video or the Architect characters from the Prometheus movie. Such interesting movements, almost chaotically inhuman
Loving the increase of uploads from you guys! Best reaction channel. Do Dream Theater - The Glass Prison, if you are not familiar with the band already. Dream Theater is the primary influence for most of the prog metal bands of today.
Love this song, love you guys for playing it... I've heard this song a few times now (...maybe more than that😎) it has so many layers. I wouldn't even call this math metal because it's just thinking metal, it has a feel and a rythm you can grasp, it's just real intense and drawn out. This new album is going to be BROAD in it's ability and tones, but of course I should've guessed that, typical AAL. I mean the dude just invented, yes, invented, a new style of picking called selective picking, which makes you think wow, why didn't we think of this already, then you say oh, cuz we didn't have a Tosin Abasi, that's why. Then you got those mad triplets on the kick in sync with at least one of the guitarists thumps almost the whole song...the layers can be talked about for days. Anyways, no news yet on the new album's date but they are done tracking it since like a month ago. I bet it'll be out by the end of the year.
Guys!! do a reaction of Vildhjarta (THALL) New video! it is AMAZING!!!! Cheers from Argentina! And also check Alpha Wolf - Akudama or No-name (LIVE) Knocked loose - Mistakes like fractures
You are my favorite reaction channel. I watch all your vids and actually I don't wait any videos from any others any more so much as I do yours. If you want to do something totally different and unexpected react to Dimash Qudaibergen - S.O.S. (live at Slavic Bazaar). You won't regret.
I am not sure I have seen you do a reaction to Septic Flesh, I highly recommend them as a live band to watch, preferably any song from their Infernus Symphonica show. Amazing music.
Fantastic reaction guys, I'm not as familiar with this band, but they are technical wizards. If you like this, then definitely check out some of Meshuggah's songs, they kind of started the whole Djent subgenre and are also technically amazing and also heavy AF.
I think AAL need to find more of their own character by dropping the Meshuggah knock-off riffs. They are a great band that shouldn't need to rely on playing someone else's style.
@@jayc4734 Yes, Meshuggah DO have a monopoly on that sound...they created it. It IS their sound. Nothing ignorant about that observation. In fact, i'd say anyone who doesn't know AAL rips of Meshuggah sound are the ones who are ignorant. I will admit the drums are quite different though. And just out of curiosity, do you think Periphery rip Meshuggah off?
@@craigroaring I can tell from your reply that you're not the brightest spark. Musical influence isn't "ripping off", and I'm sure Meshuggah wouldn't refer to it as such. So why does someone like you appear to take offence on their behalf - it's quite sad...
@@jayc4734 You must have very little experience with music if you can't hear the lack of originality in those Meshuggah knock off riffs. It's sad when bands are not held into account for their lack of originality because their listeners are ignorant. You're insults towards me are the height of hypocrisy.
@@craigroaring Nothing wrong with a band influencing a single riff in your song. Have you noticed the other 95% of the song? Bright, inspiring melodic runs in high and low registers, absolutely unique technical drumming, and a sonic palette far more diverse than Meshuggah usually employs. I absolutely love Meshuggah as well, but I'm not going to let that touch of influence prevent me from enjoying the unique riches that AAL brings to the table.
Was just hoping I’d see y’all do this haha just saw it today as well. Soo cool if you notice before he starts “moving to the beat” in the beginning as Erica says 😂 you can see his hand is moving to the beat first, love that detail the dancer did!! Probably doesn’t show up well in their reaction so check out the original video xD
Love the ghost notes in this one, they carry it.

DIDO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! \m/ \m/ \m/ MESHUGGAH!!! MESHUGGAH!!! MESHUGGAH!!!
That dance choreography! Your move tiktok kids
Was waiting on this. Tosin is amazing but Gartska's drum work is some of the best now.
Tooth and Claw is still my recommendation for more of them.
This makes me want a Meshuggah reaction! Please do *Meshuggah- Dancers to a Discordant System!* Nobody has reacted to it yet and it's a true masterpiece. Totally different from "Bleed"
Somehow someway Matt is getting better. Very scary
Animals As Leaders never fails to impress. Glad they are putting new stuff out, been a few years.
Their first album is a masterpiece. Please react to “The price of everything and the value of nothing” or “Inamorata”. Both of those songs are incredible
Along with ‘Behaving Badly’ too. :)
i really like song of solomon from that album but you cant really go wrong with any of them
@@EdddSaid yeah, me too. Basically, there’s not a single track in that album that’s now ‘Wow’ worthy. :)
On Impulse and Point to Point are also some beautiful tracks from their first album :D
@@MattJFilms I agree. Love them. :)
For sure the best music video of the year!!
Animals as Leaders - Wave of Babies
Animals as Leaders - Tempting Time
Matt Garstka. Period.
What an insane track...they just keep getting better...scary...I like the video a lot, but would rather have just watched them playing it...they are just on another level...
My thoughts too. The video is awesome but when you see 3 "humans" playing these songs, you go NUTS!!!
2:51 & this is where you're brought back down from La la land and back to thumbpage to chunkage.
I really respect someone for getting intimately familiar enough with this incredibly difficult song to choreograph this.
The choreography is amazing! Really dig the style. Reminds me of the Bleed music video or the Architect characters from the Prometheus movie.
Such interesting movements, almost chaotically inhuman
the dancers kinda look like they're doing a djenty macarena at 1:05
This just showcases how good Tosin is. It may be a short song but it's so freaking good! Love it! 🔥
That song is absolutely wreckless.
Their sound has really changed since Matt has been a part of the writing process. This is some crazy shit.
Animals as leaders "physical education" would a great one for you guys to check out. First album with Matt Garska (current drummer).
Rishloo - Landmines
Brilliant
Yes, this is very Meshuggah. I recommend you Meshuggah - Combustion.
That was great😊😊😊

Feels like the video is made to resemble some kind of Sufist ritual lol
You nailed it I was thinking the same
Listen to the song and count to 5 and listen close to the snare hits.
Please react to everything they've done.

You need to check out Inhuman Condition. Tyrantula
Yo yo yo, please check out Strapping young lad - detox……experience the heavy devy. Devin Townsend’s first band.
Clearly haven't seen eskimo callboy - we got the moves lol.
It is time to BOTH of you react to JAMBI - TOOL!
PORCUPINE TREE FEAR OF A BLANK PLANET AND HALO PLZZZZ
Next jinjer-pausing death , please, it has one of the modt filthiest breakdowns of all time 😂
Only 4 minutes aal?
