I was born into traditional religion and later practicing Muslim, but when I grew up, I discovered myself and read a lot about why I must have a religion. After considering all religions read about many religions, I'm finally now a Christian because it's not a religion but a way of life. Christ never preach religion but knowing God and be responsible to others.
@@nunya54The Torah was to be followed because Jesus didn't make the sacrifice yet . After his blood flowed the new testament was to be followed as now your sins have been paid for and all you need to do is follow Christ his teachings to enter heaven . The whole point of why things where strict before Jesus was put in the cross was because no one went to heaven when they died . When Jesus his body died he went to Hades to retrieve all the souls that died before he paid the price for sin he brought all the people that followed the law of the Torah to heaven .
I’m from Zambia, a Christian nation since 1991 . There’s no apostasy laws and freedom of religion is encouraged even in universities and high schools . There’s is no justification to take anyone’s life no matter what they did only in self defense but otherwise there’s zero justification. An eye for and eye will only make the whole world blind . Love and forgiveness conquers all

Mohammed Sule the ex-muslim is seriously well read and highly articulate. He has a calm way of speaking with sound reasoning. He was calm even when rudely cut off. You can see Christ in him. He sounds like he has read that John Ortberg book titled 'Who is this man? the unpredictable impact of the unescapable Jesus'. That book surprised me with wisdom. I applaud the ex-muslims. I recognise the difficulty they may have faced or face. The Muslims were also very well spoken. This was a good episode.
@@RachelOmolaraOdubore He oozes wisdom, patience, and refinement. He looks like someone one can learn a lot from if we give him the space to talk for long.
Religious attainment and debate are not necessary struggle. Our mates in the Western world where we virtually every Youths in Africa want to be do not bother themselves with religion. The bible is a book for them to remain loyal their masters. Come up with discussions that will bring about change in our lives
Some are but some aren’t I feel bad for the ones who has the knowledge and having to explain things to the others who are just talking based on their emotions than religion
Mohammed Sule...MO as we will fondly call him at nccf Oyo, am so super proud of you and your journey with The Lord which is ever growing evidently. Its Uche here please lets re-connect if you see this
From a former Muslim to now proud Christian, salama if you see this-your heart is still with Christ. Please do not take it as offense, I encourage you to look at Christ again. The guy in the white perfectly interpreted the sharia, but failed to apply it when questioned on the justification of apostasy. Gods word does not change, today, tomorrow, or yesterday. Meaning, everything that was applied back then, is applied today and tomorrow. This is another fundamental difference between Christian’s and Muslims. We as Christian subconsciously follow the old laws, because Christ fulfilled them-therein showing us the correct way of doing them under the new covenant and by keeping all the 10 commandments (which Muslims do not have, though they have similar moral codes, as they respect Moses). Nevertheless, the issue to why there is so much extremism in Islam is because Islam is not just a religion, but it is also seen as a culture within Arabic culture. This is why, when one converts to Islam, they must take upon the Arabic traditions, culture, language, etc to fully integrate into Islam, & properly practice it. This is why most middle easterners within the Middle East do not see people outside the Middle East as true believers. Hence why in Africa (speaking as an African), it is sometimes very difficult for us to truly practice whatever religion we’re in because we have strong cultural ties. Christianity refuses culture because it clashes with that direct relationship with God that requires total submission. Christianity tells you that sometimes culture is not good, and if we can’t accept that, how can we accept God openly. To love your neighbor, does not just mean love the good people-but to love those who also do you so much harm. This is why the Bible says “If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also.” Because Christ still loved all those who caused him pain regardless of how bad it was. He was beyond selfless. It’s easy to say that even without any religious affiliation one would still be very selfless into loving those who have caused them harm. I learned that the hard way, when I humbled myself enough to know that without Christ, I have no morality whatsoever or standard to follow in order to not want to seek revenge to those that have done the worst, because my human nature is to take revenge. But with God, I can turn the other way and forgive them. But I truly loved everyone that spoke on this panel. I pray that God continues to guide and assist you all in whatever you do. [edit] I will not be responding to anyone anymore. The question or comment you might have, might already be answered-if not? Pray about it and Jesus will answer it, amen. Love you all, and may God be with you all who come across this ❤️❤️
What’s all this paragraphs about 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Yeah Salama’s Manners of yelling and clapping while talking as if they’re quarreling is so disappointing. It clearly shows that she’s mannerless. She’s showing signs of a hypocrite.
So glad you’ve joined the family!❤What I love about being Christian is that our faith is spiritual. Our identity in Christ defines us, not culture, language, or physical forms. Every day feels like heaven on earth, knowing His spirit dwells in me, connecting me to Him☺️
“You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.' But I say to you, Do not resist one who is evil. But if any one strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also" (Matthew 5:38-39)
Lol. Please read what you quoted for me again, now slowly, and not hastily. This is a basic interpretation. Jesus NEVER said we should take revenge but leaving the matters to God to judge. There is no way you just concluded that Jesus meant taking revenge from that text.
@@sundayodunuga2022 all I did was quote a Bible verse because someone said the Bible says an ‘eye for a an eye’ but this is what Jesus, our Lord and example on earth said about an eye for an eye. I didn’t say anything about revenge lol maybe take your own advice my brother in Christ.

Muhammad is intelligent! Greater grace bro .... His idea of love superceding religion. And the way he reconstructed the frame is wonderful ..... I love because of my Christian Faith!
I am a Christian and grew up with a Muslim & I learned every basic. As a Yoruba, everyone knows we don't care about whatever religion you practice. But there are so many things that need to be corrected in Muslim practices. Most Muslims are too defensive and aggressive when it comes to questioning so many things in that religion. When people question, they wanna go deep and know more, but being given an attitude or making the person an enemy is not the answer!!
In islam asking questions is not prohibited its says to seek knowledge and be open to questions. Some people are too touchy with their faith and may be defensive. It has nothing to do with the faith itself but the individual
It happens when you ask most that are indoctrinated. They are just born to be a certain way, most don’t understand themselves.. they memorise the Quran and the ‘meaning comes later’ all while birthing/ breeding multiple kids and continuing the cycle.

It is beautiful when I see a Christian Mohammed, the Lord be praised.😅 I think a fundamental issue is that many simply remain in Islam mostly out of fear and then out of ignorance. I'm not saying there aren't those in Christianity, but I think a higher percentage will be found in Islam. And I didn't say there aren't those who are walking in understanding in Islam. But that fear, omo! I know what my friend went through when he left Islam. You can access a bible online, you need it. Jesus loves you. Shalom!
I should also add that the fear one would experience when they convert from Christianity to another religion isn't a fear that they would lose their lives; because someone thinks he's doing his God a service by killing another person. That's not what we do here. The fear an ex-Christian may have is mostly related to the unknown, because they've taken a new path in life, this change would definitely affect how some people relate with them and the likes. It is never about losing their lives. Shalom!
My issue is this: Everytime Islam says something relatively good. All Muslims will be like "You see? Islam is so simple and easy to understand. Even children can grasp it" But when you see something in Islam thats clearly psychotic, then they're like "Islam is so complex, you cant look at it through just one lense." Or! You'll hear this "Thats just your bad interpretation." Then they proceed to give a longwinded and empty explanation justifying something thats simply horrible.
It’s simple in the sense that there is only one creator and if you can remember that to your death bed you might be okay but what’s this complex issue you have
@farhad198 That's just general faith, not at all unique to Islam. Here's an example: Muhammed was said to be illiterate, yet he claimed the Torah and the Gospel confirm him as a prophet. Hence why he said Jews and Christians are "fellow people of the book" and "natural allies". How does he know that if he can't read? You could say "well someone read it for him and told him. Or maybe God or an angel came to him and said this". Okay but when he goes up to the Jews and Christians, they both denied him and said he's false. Neither the Torah nor the Gospel speak of him, much less acknowledge him as a prophet. This made Muhammed look extremely bad. But his excuse to his fellow Arabs was that the Torah and the Gospel had been corrupted (which doesn't make sense because you also catch Muahmmed saying those are the word of God, and that the word of God cannot he changed). But again, he made all these claims about religious texts.....HE CANT READ So we run into this dilema: If the Jews and Christians changed the word of God, then Muhammed lied. But if the word of God was never changed, and what the Jews and Christians have is still the same over time, then Muhammed is just crazy. There is no outcome that makes Muhammed look good. And Muslims continue to hold on to this idea that they've been corrupted (never explain how).
Islam primarily served as a vehicle for economic, cultural, and Arabic expansion, the religion aspect is the add-on. Also, Muslim-Feminist is a wild concept.
@Explaining_Christianityabove all, her heart is in the right place and she identifies and accepts she’s a muslim so she is. it’s a personal journey y’all should stop stressing fr.
Firstly study the life of Mohammad and Jesus..then you will know who represented the devil and God The hadith contains the story of Mohammad, the gospels contains the story Of Jesus. One said God sent him to die for the sins of men 2000years ago,the other who came like 600years later said no he did not die, where as the jew who killed Jesus did not deny that they killed Jesus. One offer life after death, raise the dead, and his coming back, the other was killed by poison and never rose but believe Jesus is coming back to judge him. One killed, the other said love your enemy. One said he doesn't know the way,the other said I'm the way the truth and the life. Read for yourself and pray that God should show you who is the devil and who is God.😊 One love
Mohammed was peaceful in Mecca bcs he had less power but when he became a governor in Medina,he became violent So the peaceful verses in the Qur'an was Mohammad in Mecca while the violent ones was Mohammad in Medina. This was really interesting. Nice conversation. Salman did justice. Even though I feel some questions we're not asked and some questions were not well answered.
Not a Muslim but I agree with Abu Salman's arguments about contextual understanding of history. For example: Arranged marriage was the correct behaviour for thousands of years but now it is frowned upon by society. Even in the Bible, Mary getting married to Joseph was a product of arranged marriage.
@@johnichie6130 Many people mistake arrange marriages with force marriages. Arranged marriage is mutual consent from both sides. Islam encourages arrange marriages as love fades it is only mercy between the couples that will last. So it is the most important aspect. Islam is against forced marriages too. Salman and Mohammed spoke very well fr And i also think Salama has a lot of research to do cos i couldn't even pinpoint if she was a muslim or an ex muslim tbvh It's all love from this end❤

Salman is so educated and insightful and he understands the Quran better than most religious leaders because someone is obviously telling these people that killing someone is justifiable because they'll go to heaven.

the beauty of Christianity is "15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness." 2 Timothy 2:15-16. I was born a Christian, and I am still a Christian but I made a decision to be Christian because I did a comparison of all available religions, even modern ones. Berean Christians are commended for their habit of tact-checking what they were thought. You dont need to learn a special language to do that. The Bible is available in your local language. You dont need a special teacher, you can understand it by yourself. People have tried to twist and turn it but "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." John 8:32. 11Now the Bereans were more noble-minded than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if these teachings were true. I absolutely enjoyed watching this…and I learnt a lot from both sides. It’s really nice seeing how non-northerners view Islam, it makes it seem more tolerable (it can be really scary up North). Also Mr Mohammed is quite knowledgeable, Salman also talked intelligently. For those requesting Northerners to be brought on board…it could be really intense because whether they fully understand their stance or not they tend to be very emotional and sometimes violent when it comes to topics about religion and I want to believe it’s because it harmonizes with their culture.
Your stance on northern Muslims and "violence" is quite wrong I must say. The same way jungle justice is done in other predominantly Christian regions in Nigeria by hoodlums. Is thesame way you should believe it is done in predominantly Muslim northern regions. By not saying Muslims but hoodlums. If you get what I mean.
@@Himustapha I get your point however the jungle justice crimes are not carried out in any religious context unlike the violence I’m talking about and I’m not of the opinion that the violence some of these people exhibit is justified by the religion but it will help if these type of violent acts and discriminatory actions towards non-Muslims in certain regions are openly frowned at and dis-annulled by other Muslim masses and their leaders…but when people turn blind eyes to these things what will you have the victims or onlookers think?

LoL, this discussions ehn... Rough play will full for people that like theories and not reality. Yes, accept or pay Jizya. And Islam will protect you..and will not break the agreement. Now that the Muslims are not in power. I guess the Christianity theory as allowed the western countries full of Christian population and leaders to leave the neck of the Muslims right? LoL... They won't. That's the reality. Not some lies full of theory. The reality is they won't. And when Allah gave strength to the Muslims as well, we won't. At the least of it, we'll take control of lands. And, you can check the history record, the Islam controlled empires has never been any close to the cruelty of the ones controlled by other religions. Why? Because it's not worldly or material desire. It's for the protection of the interest of the Muslims. And whoever agrees to it, enjoys their freedom under the control of Islam. LoL. Even now that you're not under Islamic empire, you still pay taxes and them no born anyone well make he no pay. So, asking for taxes not too much to ask for. In fact, it is nothing compared to the exploitation the other religions have done and are still doing. I always say this: when you talk about Islam alone, it's easy to think you're right. Next time, use comparison. You'll find that no religion comes close. Not even Christianity.
Listening to these conversations alone, you cannot but want to be a Christian if you are not already one. The truth of Christianity is highly compelling.
It's due to ignorance of the speakers. 1 Corinthians 14:34-35: Women should remain silent in churches. 2. 1 Timothy 2:12: Women shouldn't teach or have authority over men. 3. Ephesians 5:22-24: Wives should submit to their husbands. Jesus(an innocent man) was sacrificed on the cross. Like all these pagan gods Sango and Ogun that used to sacrifice innocent people Don't tell me Jesus chose to die He cried out on the cross Mark 15:34 and didn't want to die Luke 22:24. I don't mean to be rude, I'm just stating facts. Islam is enough for me.
Women should remain silent and man has authority over woman do not diminish the woman status in Christianity. You are only a bias fellow finding ways to defend your faulty religion. The Bible is clear that as a man, you have authority over your wife BUT YOU SHOULD LOVE HER AND TREAT HER THE WAY CHRIST TREATED US. Now how did Christ treated us? - HE DIED FOR US. The Bible is technically saying as a Husband BE READY TO DIE FOR YOUR WIFE. What show of love is bigger than dieing for your wife? Hmm answer me. Christianity is beautiful wether you like it or not. Women should not speak is because GOD GAVE MAN THE RESPONSIBILITY TO TEACH IN THE TEMPLE and not the woman. It's was not the woman God gave thr task of preaching on the altar of his temple but the Man. But in Christianity the woman is a great person when it comes to inculcating moral and decent values into the children. What more is greater than this? Your excuse and your points are useless. I don't see anything in them that diminish woman status. In Bible a Man is commanded to DIE FOR HIS WIFE. Unlike your Quran that instructs you to beat your wife and diminish your Women into nothing but mere male property.
@@She_is_ImanAlright so, in my opinion you are taking verses out of context, I shall illuminate it. “Women should remain silent in churches.” Again, Paul is not issuing a categorical ban on women in teaching ministry here. He is specifically prohibiting them from the teaching and governing ministry exclusively reserved to the ordained clergy (1 Cor. 14:34-35). St. Paul clearly affirms elsewhere the equal dignity of men and woman in Christ (Galatians 3:28), as well as that women can pray and prophesy otherwise within Christian worship (1 Corinthians 11:25). Paul adds that women provide an important service in teaching the faith in word and deed in other contexts (Titus 2:3-4). Again, you point out that women should submit to there husbands, but the next verses state the responsibilities of the man. Verse 25 says “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ loved the church and handed himself over for her.” Verse 22 says “Be subordinate to ONE ANOTHER out of reverence for Christ.” No, it’s not a sexist command, it’s a command to love your wife, and for the wife to love her husband. Again, Christianity has no roots to paganism, correlation ≠ causation, the crucifixion is stated several times throughout the Old Testament, for example Psalm 22. Again, speaking about psalm 22, Christ is quoting psalm 22 in Mark 15:34. another important prophecy about the Messiah. Rather than this being a shout of confusion, or uncertainty, what Jesus says here is a reminder of what is happening, and why. Luke 22:24 is about a dispute? Did you misquote?
I was born both a Muslim and Christian(mum Christian, dad Muslim)...i was exposed to both religions(mostly Christianity... didn't like Islam becos the world hates Islam... so I was also of the opinion that Islam was false and abnormal just as the way these ex Muslims think and most Christians and other faith)... growing up, i made my research in both religion and had my personal encounters and I can boldly say by God! the creator of the worlds! This is why Islam confuses me you just said“ I pray allah doesn’t take this favour away from me” you can never hear that come out from a Christian’s mouth. Our faith and salvation is sealed in Jesus Christ, the Bible says even whilst we were still sinners he came and died for us. He loved us so much that he did not spare his own life, he gave it up for us, so it is very very unlikely that you would find a Christian thinking well “I hope Jesus doesn’t take this away from me” it’s left up to the man if he tells Jesus with his words and actions that I want to leave you and that man turns away from the faith but Jesus will never forsake us and take his love from us. Have a blessed day
@@janeta.1234This has always been one of my many problems with lots of Christians ... you just bluff without deep understanding...using your ideology to judge other's belief...In case you don't understand when a Muslim says this, it has nothing to do with how you perceive God! I could hear a lot of TAQUEYA from the devout in this group. Sharia cannot be applied to non-believers? Let a non-believer commit a crime in one of their countries or states and request for non-sharia justice. Your conclusions are as good as mine.
Mohammed said to Moslems to always use taqiysh to defend Islam and to lure non Moslems to believe in Islam.Taqiyah means to use lies and deception to deceive and lure non Moslems to believe in Islam.
It's probably not Taqueya, but just them mistaking their personal moral with what Islam actually rule it as. Like apostasy for example, I have met muslim who say that it got no punishment, it's pretty much because if you don't learn about it, your consience will lead you to believe that people should not be punished just for leaving a religion. If he hadn't learn about it in Islam, because he associate Islam as morally good, he assumes that sharia law only applied to muslim because it sounds more fair that way.
I love the girl in Hijab, the ex Christian. She is objective and open minded. No judgement from her. We need More people like her ❤, religion should not be imposed, be a good human being first.
God is the moral compass. not the act of beleiveing in Him. the act of believeing in Him is religion. but Him being who He is isnt religion. its just His nature. Good. Just. Glorious. Objectively moral. He is the one who sets the meaning of objective right and objective wrong. He is the moral compass. we look to Him for where to go. what to do. how to go about things. i learned to fold my clothes from reading that God folded His clothes in His tomb when He rose. something as simple as folding clothes... through Him i know is moral. something as big as murder or saving a life... through Him i know is immoral or moral. He is our guide. The supreme leader.
I'm wondering if it's difficult for you to understand that people can understand your perspective and still not buy it. Is it? Anyway, I simply don't buy your truth partel. It isn't my own truth, and I hope you make peace with that.
What i see here is one party placing strong premium on love, while the other is neither here nor there. But thr fact is clear even to the least discerning
I think that is important for holy books to be translated into the languages of the readers and written clearly so anyone can read and understand. If one reads a book in a language they do not understand, then they are at the mercy of the human interpreter who may not even know what the original text means indepthly or may want to propagate their personal agenda.
I think Oyindamola made a great point on the legal gaps in various Muslim countries. These things should raise issues because people like to conceptualise ideas and influence innocent followers.
Alhamdu liLLAH I'm from Nigeria, My father is an harbalist and my mother is a muslim that doesn't no anything about Islam not to talk about praying 5times daily, she don't use to pray, But Alhamdu liLLAH I devoted my self to Islam and today Alhamdu liLLAH. I'm happy to become ahlus Sunnah.
If there's anything anyone couldn't but notice, it is the quality of Christianity in the people here who profess it... Being a Christian myself, I could look at their sincerity as it blazes like flames... To the Muslim counterparts, it was lovely to learn some more about your Faith... However, we must understand that a divine law cannot be subject to time if it's actually as it's stated, Divine! If God wrote the Qur'an as it is popularly believed amongst Muslims I think God knows enough into the future and not to give you a law that will be outdated with time, who knows what next would be outdated, 50yrs from now? Nonetheless, I have much respect for your thoughts, kind regards!
I imagine you’re a Christian from your response. Your position on how a divine law, (binding on all people across generations) should not be time-bound is profound, especially when you further consider that said law proceeds from the utmost Supreme Being. I do not actually agree with the position of the speakers on apostasy laws being time bound because there’s no proof of such claim in Islamic sources. However, how would you respond to the laws given to the Israelites in the Old Testament from God that they’re not obliged to follow anymore. E.g not sewing clothes with two materials etc.
Christians are hypocrite and only read what they are told to read by the Church. Their religion/Bible preach worst things. I'm sure this person isn't aware of the apostasy law in the Bible.
@@0001Hart PART 1 (Tread in this sequence) thank you for your gentle response. You have made a case for the Jews, and I wish one of their scholars were here to defend their perspective. However, I would like to offer a response from a Christian standpoint. 1. Why Was the Law Given? The law was a "taskmaster" meant to highlight humanity's shortcomings rather than resolve them (Galatians 3:24). It was designed to weary those under it because the law in itself does not take sin away. As Hebrews 10:1-4 emphasizes, "the law is only a shadow of the good things that are coming-not the realities themselves. For this reason, it can never, by the same sacrifices repeated endlessly year after year, make perfect those who draw near to worship."The law functioned not only as a spiritual code but also as a moral and social guide for the Israelites, who had been estranged from the knowledge of God for 400 years in Egypt. They had lost much of their understanding of God and had become accustomed to the ways of Egypt (Exodus 12:40). The laws were given to confine them to the ways of God and help them rediscover a holy life (Leviticus 11:45). Abraham, on the other hand, lived by faith long before the law was given (Genesis 15:6; Galatians 3:6-7). This suggests that the law is not an end in itself, but a means to an end. Faith existed before the law, demonstrating that God's ultimate aim has always been faith and relationship, not mere adherence to rules.
The Scope of the Law. The law was primarily intended for the Jews. This is evident in the actions of the apostles, who, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, decided not to impose the full requirements of the law-such as circumcision-on Gentile believers (Acts 15:1-29). Paul reinforces this in Romans 2:14-15, where he notes that Gentiles, though not under the law, "do by nature things required by the law."
3. Moses and the Law. It is worth asking: Was the law binding on Moses himself? Moses had a unique relationship with God, unlike that of the priests or the people. While the high priests could not enter the Holy of Holies without blood, Moses entered God’s presence without the same ritual purification (Exodus 33:11). This underscores that the law was a temporary measure for the people of Israel rather than a permanent, universal covenant.Furthermore, Jesus clarified that some parts of the law were given due to the hardness of people's hearts. For example, Moses permitted divorce on the grounds of adultery, but Jesus taught that this was a concession, not God’s original intent (Matthew 19:8). Jesus' teachings reveal a higher moral and spiritual standard that transcends the law.
@ILikeBreadBro they didn't deny his statements. For example, when he said shariah law is not meted out on non-muslims, the prompt said "some aspects can be meted". How does that deny what he said?denial will be "shariah law is meted out on all non-muslims".
@@ILikeBreadBro I’m Muslim and I can say he is educated in terms of islam. Their “fact check” was not done by a Muslim who actually knows the Qur’an and Sunnah. As the ex-Muslim guy said, the Qur’an is not the only part of our religion. There’s the sunnah we learn through the Hadith, all that isn’t something a layman will check online to verify. One has to sit down and go through centuries of data to learn those things.

Salama getting angry over a religion she is practicing is crazy and shows how much work of finding her identity in Christ she has to do. Love you regardless❤
Mohammed is clearly well-read and articulate. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to him speak, especially on the last topic. I appreciated hearing Ridwan and Abu Salman’s thoughts, particularly on the Sharia law - I wasn’t conversant with some of the nuances, and it was really great to learn that there are measures put in place to ensure some sort of temperance with meting out the acts of justice prescribed in the law. Unfortunately, despite their best efforts, they were unable to make a good argument for apostasy laws. A divine law, given by a transcendent being cannot be explained away by anachronism. If it was valid then, it should be valid now, unless it was commanded by a temporal being making decisions based on contemporary events. I believe Oyindamola made some comments to this regard as well - she was also lovely to listen to. Demilade was also a delight. Salama is quite…interesting. I admire her fervor. However, for someone who seems to hold such strong convictions, it is interesting to watch her navigate the dissonance with her faith. It does seem that her conversion was more emotional than intellectual, which is sad. As someone who also struggles with anxiety disorder, I understand how easy it is to develop an attachment to activities, people, or sounds that provide succor. Listening to Ludovico soothes me and puts me to bed, but that isn’t quite sufficient reason to declare myself a Ludoviconian (assuming that is a thing). I reckon she needs to do the hard work of seeking out truth like Ridwan advised at the end. It is not enough to have the appearance of a Muslim if you disagree with nearly every tenet of Islam. Altogether, this was a really insightful video. I pray that everyone who comes across it is inspired to seek out truth, and that they find it…that they find Him, Jesus Christ.
The Muslim guy on green said that it was justified back then to kill people leaving the religion in order to prevent other people from leaving too ???? That’s just ridiculous and it shows that there is something wrong somewhere
It sounds more like a Mafia move...blood in blood out. You don't commit murder in order to prevent a person from leaving a religion that supposed to save souls. What then happens to the person who been murdered? Does his soul go to heaven or has he been condemned to hell? How would his creator allow such callousness? If there is no compulsion in religion then one should be allowed to leave without any consequence.
@@hassanabubakar648 This is for the Israelites coming out of Egypt for people who worshipped other gods, not people who just walked away from the religion. Lastly, this command was under the old covenant FOR ISRAELITES. God said He will bring A NEW LAW/NEW COVENANT when the Messiah comes “But this is the new covenant I will make with the people of Israel after those days,” says the Lord. “I will put my instructions deep within them, and I will write them on their hearts. Shout out to Salman, Ridwan and Salama for participating in this panel, I love to see amazing muslims representing the Umah! I'm glad Salman made the distinction between the context of the past and the present as that law was instated during a very hard time for the early muslims, a time of war, where all their lives were at risk even if one person were to betray information to the Quraysh. However, this ruling was only for that certain circumstance and time and so if anyone were to claim it's relevance now they would be extremely, extremely wrong. I commend him for keeping strong to his point even when everyone put him under pressure because they didn't understand what he was trying to convey. Also thank you for Ridwan for clarifying and supporting this distinction. Amazing point Salama on religion not stopping you from having love and showing kindness to those who don't share the same beliefs as you. Everyone spoke very well mashallah it was very interesting to listen to this panel! Excited to see more like this in the future. I wish luck to everyone on the journey of faith and seeking the truth! Keep your hearts and minds open and may you find it inshallah. Just to add upon Salman's last note in the episode, I speak as a Muslim who also used to practice just because I was told to, but after actually reading the Quran and doing my research now I am confident in my religion and I would just like to tell any Muslims out there who are unsure to read and do their own research and inshallah you find the answers you were looking for. Peace and blessings upon everyone, thank you for reading my comment (it was a long one indeed XD)
@@FantasyAnimated-o5vI pray for you today that you will receive that truest and purest love from Christ that His light will shine down on you and you shall know what the truth, way and life truly is, Amen. 🙏🏻
I was born Muslim and grew up among Christians and praticed christianity from a young age probably because i found it flexible, i was a Christian for the last 28 years of my life but alhamdulilah Allah SWT shined His light on my heart this year and i decided to look back to Islam, i started from reading the Quran with its tafsee and the scales started falling, the bible started making more sense while reading the Quran. I hated the Sharia law before but now that i have know more and read alot about it, it is what the world needs to be a better place if its practised correctly. Reading about the life of the prophet made my hate for Him turn to love. Now I'm learning how to read the Quran in its Arabic form because the English translation speaks and resonates with my heart, it gives me conform when i read it in English and also listen to it in Arabic. The original text will definitely pack in so much more meaning. There is really no reason to leave islam if you know and read and reflect. Islam is not a religion you can practice without true knowledge of it and facts about it. I'm grateful that i was once a Christian because it made me understand islam and actually see its the only truth. Islam is perfect, Muslims are not.❤❤
I hope you have an assurance of an eternal with your new found faith, i hope you are confident of going to heaven at last. you see, Christianity is not just a religion you practice, it is a life that stems out of having a personal relationship with Jesus. you were ''a Christian'' but you never knew Jesus Christ. you think Christianity is flexible, wait till you encounter Jesus after you transit this world, when you stand before the Judgement throne of God Almighty to give account of the life He gave you. i pray for you, that you will find your way back to God before then, you wont have an excuse for not knowing Him.
@@faithgokir9783 I am so sure of the mercy of Allah SWT that if I keep to this straight path, with His mercy I will definitely enter paradise. Yes, I know about christ and love Christ the right way. I believe He's one of the greatest prophet and I believe in His teachings and I believe in His second coming. We are all to stand in front of the creator of the world including Jesus and every prophet that was sent down with the message, "THE LORD YOUR GOD IS ONE AND WORSHIP HIM ALONE" . All the prophets was sent with this message if u read from old testament to the new. The message has always been one. Islam is the definition of having a relationship with God, Islam is about balancing your soul, the Quran nourishes the soul and give it peace. I saw all the inconsistencies in the bible, all the mistakes, I can't depend my salvation on a book that has the words of men in it. The Bible also contains the word of God but it's mixed with that word of men too. God is perfect and pure, His word should be perfect and straight forward without any inconsistency. The Quran has passed the test,.it doesn't have any error or mistakes in it. It is the absolute word of God with no word of men in it. ( Trust me, I did a lot of research to confirm this). May I not see what will take me back to Christianity. I found my peace here and I've never felt better. If I die tomorrow, I know I died doing what I was created for ( WORSHIPPING THE CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE ALONE WITHOUT ASSOCIATING PARTNERS WITH HIM)
There are lot of things to learn in Islam… the more you know the more beautiful it becomes, listening to beautiful recitation of the Quran only doesn’t make you understand the Religion…… Learning is actually a key factor in Islam. May we be guided to the straight path.
The girl that said she was first a Christian then an Atheist, then a Muslima. She has not yet became a Muslima, she still has most of Christian law in her. A true Muslim will developed a hatred to confront anyone that says something contrary to what Islam preaches. 1) A muslim doesn't know what is loving a neighbour without him/her being a muslim. They can love you but that love will get a boundary because you are not a muslim. Love is something that is based on believe and expression. Since all of us believed in one or different ways, Religion plays a huge role in our love process. So, to compare Love with the narratives of other religions, Christian surpassed all in the world.
Christians only decided to adopt the loving narrative after doing the exact opposite all around the world. Islam is superior in their teaching of love as it is only based on what God loves. So they do not love evil because God does not love evil. They do not love sin or disobedience because God does not. We should have boundaries on who and what we love.
I feel like Salama takes religion as a community/somewhere to belong rather than a devotion. Islam was an escape from what she was feeling at the moment and it stuck 🤔
Salama became a Muslim but isn't really being Muslim, the way she's arguing against islam shows it. I was born a muslim and Alhamdullilah i like it and i love the feel of being a Muslim ✨❤️🩹
Muhammad was calm and eloquent while stating his points and that was why he delivered. I wish they all had this. Secondly, In conversations like this, nuance is very necessary. In life Things are not necessarily yes or no, context is always needed. Putting a person in a tight yes/no spot where whatever this person says will be used against them shows lack of nuance on the part of the person doing the asking. Thirdly, this was like a 4 against 1 because one person was consistently against "their side" anyways, truth is truth no matter the numbers or who does the convincing. Ultimately, islam teaches that there's no compulsion in religion and thats why we humans have free will. Its your choice!😊 alhamdulillah ala nimatul islam✌🏽
Conclusion, the ex-Muslims arguing points were based on emotions, personal experiences and what Muslims did. The truth is objective and not subject to your own emotion, personal experiences or what happens around you. If you leaved Islam, that just mean you doesn't truly believe that Quran is verbatim the word of God. Sadly, the Muslim girl also brings emotion talking points and tends to agree with some of the point made by the ex-Muslims.
I was born into traditional religion and later practicing Muslim, but when I grew up, I discovered myself and read a lot about why I must have a religion. After considering all religions read about many religions, I'm finally now a Christian because it's not a religion but a way of life.

I will not be responding to anyone anymore. The question or comment you might have, might already be answered-if not? Pray about it and Jesus will answer it, amen. Love you all, and may God be with you all who come across this ❤️❤️

Yup
U are right.
She doesn't seem to understand what Islam means yet.
It is beautiful when I see a Christian Mohammed, the Lord be praised.😅
I think a fundamental issue is that many simply remain in Islam mostly out of fear and then out of ignorance.
Shalom!
Mohammed is very knowledgeable and he has a very in-depth understanding of the faith he is practicing 👏👏👏
The lady on pink does not yet know her stance
She doesn’t know what islam is let here wait arabs will carry as slaves! Nonsense!
Real but she is so fine 😩
My issue is this: Everytime Islam says something relatively good. All Muslims will be like "You see? Islam is so simple and easy to understand. Even children can grasp it"
But when you see something in Islam thats clearly psychotic, then they're like "Islam is so complex, you cant look at it through just one lense."
Or! You'll hear this
"Thats just your bad interpretation."
Then they proceed to give a longwinded and empty explanation justifying something thats simply horrible.
It’s simple in the sense that there is only one creator and if you can remember that to your death bed you might be okay but what’s this complex issue you have
Also the same with Christianity
@@usemann3640 You see this with cults like Mormons and JWs, but not really with regular Christians.
@farhad198 That's just general faith, not at all unique to Islam.
Here's an example:
Muhammed was said to be illiterate, yet he claimed the Torah and the Gospel confirm him as a prophet.
But again, he made all these claims about religious texts.....HE CANT READ
So we run into this dilema:
If the Jews and Christians changed the word of God, then Muhammed lied. But if the word of God was never changed, and what the Jews and Christians have is still the same over time, then Muhammed is just crazy.
There is no outcome that makes Muhammed look good. And Muslims continue to hold on to this idea that they've been corrupted (never explain how).

Even in the Bible, Mary getting married to Joseph was a product of arranged marriage.
@@johnichie6130
Many people mistake arrange marriages with force marriages. Arranged marriage is mutual consent from both sides. the beauty of Christianity is "15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Like all these pagan gods Sango and Ogun that used to sacrifice innocent people
Don't tell me Jesus chose to die
He cried out on the cross Mark 15:34 and didn't want to die Luke 22:24.

Have a blessed day
Thank You @@janeta.1234

It's probably not Taqueya, but just them mistaking their personal moral with what Islam actually rule it as.

Muslim majority countries don't necessarily represent Islamic society. There is a lot not Islamic in those countries.

@@0001Hart PART 1 (Tread in this sequence)
thank you for your gentle response.

@@aoayoola7 It may not happen in a day. But planting a seed is very much important.
You don’t read your Bible properly. The punishment for apostasy in the Bible is death Deuteronomy 13:6-11
Christians for most of history killed apostates

These people are 100 times more self reflective and articulate than the people in the jubilee video. Thanks for the video, you gained a new sub xD
She’s just ignorant and mannerless. She’s showing signs of a hypocrisy. May Allah guide her fully
She’s just yelling ignorantly and she’s mannerless
Christians only decided to adopt the loving narrative after doing the exact opposite all around the world. Islam is superior in their teaching of love as it is only based on what God loves. So they do not love evil because God does not love evil. They do not love sin or disobedience because God does not. We should have boundaries on who and what we love.
Yelling doesn't mean what she is saying is right. She is yet to understand her deen
Give her a break. Remember she's a revert and still, it's not a walk in a park. She will learn eventually.
