Kids don’t need to be exposed to what? People who exist in this world?
If the fact that Jules is transgender is never addressed, and the show isn’t talking about sexuality to children, then what exactly is wrong with Jules being on the show? All kids are seeing is someone who dresses a little different fitting right in and acting like everyone else and being nice. How is that a negative message?

first of all, 5 month old babies won't be able to understand anyways. they has been used as a pronoun for aa single person as long as the word has been around everyone uses the term theybto refer to one person even you. "your teacher gave you so much homework why did THEY do thet?" "there's a person walking towards me why are THEY following me" "wasn't your friend supposed to come over where are THEY" those are just a few examples of how THEY is used to refer to one person. sidenotez I found out about trans people when I was 6 or 7 and I wasn't weirded out didn't think it was a big deal it was just another thing and I thought it was good someone could be themselves m

As a grammar-loving English speaker, I must respectfully correct your statement. While both pronouns can be considered plural, they also apply to singular forms as well. Both the APA style writing guide and Merriam-Webster recognize the terms "they" and "them" as a correct and acceptable way to describe someone, regardless of whether it is directed at a transgender person or any single person in general. Both can be used to describe a singular character or person that is disingenuous and doesn't need a particular gender pronoun in order to reach the reader.
Examples: 1) "Doctor, a patient down the hallway is experiencing pain. What shall we do for them?"
      2) "I saw a person's silhouette in the dark and couldn't tell who they were."

      1. I'm actually a registered nurse on a not so crazy country and calling a singular patient as "them" is just stupid. It's what shall we do with "THE PATIENT".
      2. It's I didn't know who "IT IS". Unless you actually saw multiple bodies you don't use the plural form.

It started as a “parody” song performed by SF gay choir.
Then chanted in the streets at pride parades across the country
And now everyone is surprised when it shows up in Disney movies and toddler entertainment.

I’m a gay guy, and Jules can do whatever she wants personally. But I do find it concerning that we are normalizing people who feel they are not men or women especially on kids programming. I don’t think you should be projecting your issues with self-image onto young viewers. It seems to be more about that adult than the child. And seeing Ms. Rachel reach out to Dylan Mulvaney (a grifter) as a representative of trans people just shows how much the average person including Ms. Rachel doesn’t understand what a trans person is or gender dysphoria in general. And then ask that person to be on your kid’s show? Whats wrong with y’all? Specially, giving yourself a label that is essentially meaningless and is reflective of your social issues with society than any definable trait. And I’m sorry but saying you’re not a man or woman or the opposite sex has nothing to do with being gay, lesbian, or bi and even in a lot of these instances even trans. But keep on appropriating and changing definitions by expanding them for a group of people you’re not even a part of. It reeks of homophobia and just trying to place people in newer less meaningful boxes and labels that mean nothing.

The problem is they are sending men to women’s prison, letting men compete on womens sports teams and letting men in girl locker rooms even with minors present. Jules is a female. She can date who she wants. Dress how she wants. Talk how she wants. But if my daughter ever gets convicted of a crime and sent to prison I would really hope she doesn’t have to be incarcerated with men. And if my daughter ever wants to compete in athletics I would really hope she doesn’t have to compete against Men.

My wife and I just started watching Miss Rachel for my daughter and I heard of this BS going on with the so called controversy. I'm a lot more clued in on all the trans crap that is being shoved in everyone's faces my wife ignores everything social media; I do too i jist watch UA-cam. This whole drama session speaks to how people want to be referred to. I get people want to be called something other than girl or boy but I'm not gonna do that. You can't force other people to go by what you feel like you are. And teaching kids to acquiesce to what other people feel like they are when there indeed are 2 sexes, male and female, is just asinine and insane. We have seen where that leads. Some people think they are wolves and owls. To tell our kids that they are to literally accept that about people is to have them live in an ACTUAL fairy tale, and as parents it's our responsibility to have our kids indulge in fairy tales for a limited time to keep to their innocence along a natural curve according to their age. Our duty is to help them identify and avoid other people's delusions. This isn't to degrade anyone. This is to maintain the integrity of human culture which has maintained itself for thousands of years and only recently has sunk down to this self-identity crisis. Let's not continue it with our kids. Let's give them structure and meaning in their lives so they WILL have a solid identity. Let's give them solid gender roles so they understand what it means to be a girl or a boy and then a woman or a man. It all starts with us as parents.
