I’m about to do this to my Mk5 to hide the shitty rocker panels. Kind of amazing you made a tutorial for this as these skirts are such a niche product that almost no one buys. Appreciate the help
Did You drill new holes underneath the car for put the two screws that You showed on each side? Ora did You use any existing one? i only usted the screws on the edges and put 3m doble side tape but not sure if only that handle the central part of the skirts. Thanks man

Also wondering about this.. I'm worried about drilling into the rocker as I'm not sure if it would open myself up to future rust.
Anyone know where to order side skirts for a sportswagen? I have 2009 and I'm guessing the wagon is longer then the jetta ( rocker length)
Do I need to buy the side skirt with hardware kit or can I order the 2 separately and save myself some money lol
I didn't use the mounting kit. I just used the 2 sided tape that came with the part and used screws directed into the rocker sill.
should've painted the skirts and bumpers white instead. black plastic looks cheap
It would look great all matched to the body color.
i just paint my 2009 mk5 tdi white and i all matched to the body color its look nice and lowered a bit @@ShinyFastLoud
