I love your loom - the combs seem like they work better than what I’m using right now. Such a wholesome video - it made my heart happy when you panned over to your daughter with her own bead project - following in Mama’s footsteps and it reminded me of how my grandma taught me to bead. She had an Native American Trading Post and I would crawl around on the floor picking up all the beads and silver scraps that fell. Anything that fell was mine to use (certainly she left treasures for me). Later, I was her partner at powwows to purchase supplies etc. My beading skills have carried on throughout my whole life and I’m so glad she cared enough to take the time to teach me what she knew then buy me what I needed to move from step to step.☺️❤️🇺🇸
Do your customers pick the colors, etc? (1st video) How to you let them choose things?
Thank you for watching! Love the family history with beading! I let my clients choose their colors, and I have them tell me what colors they hate! I have a video about communication with clients where I go over this in detail.
What do you do when using all the same size beads, but they can still differ in width? So, some areas end up not being straight . Do you push them against each other anyways and add extra beads eventually or do you keep the line straight with line gaps?
I had an issue where loops occurred at edges because of it not staying straight.

What is the program you used on your computer to make the pattern? I just started beading on a loom and I’m having trouble tracking were I am and figuring out what pattern I want to do. I think planning it out beforehand would help me stay on track and help me like the pattern I end up going with. Your work is beautiful!

How many hours does it take for the beading on the belts?
That’s a loaded question! Anywhere from 13-20 hours depending on how intricate the pattern is.
