Interview given by the band in 1997 while rehearsing for the MTV reunion "The Dance". Special thanks to jeffreychristIsAlive for this piece of history.
This is my favourite band of all time. Every single person shares the spotlight. I could go on and on about how great they are, but you already know. It is so said that Christine has passed away, and that is the end of a beautiful Fleetwood Mac story. There will never be anyone like them. ❤ As far as this particular interview goes, it’s really nice to meet them behind the scenes. They are real people who are super talented and make beautiful music together.
Mi amigo. Comparto tus comentarios. Parai no existe banda de rock más grande que Fleetwood Mac. Triste que Cristina se haya ido al cielo pero quedará por siempre en nuestros corazones.
I can’t believe no one has commented on this video. This is a great video showing FM in a more light-hearted, relaxing atmosphere. Absolutely love it, and it’s really much needed considering all their drama. This was the time when Lindsey and Stevie were getting more romantically involved again, before he and then GF, announced their pregnancy. Loved seeing Lindsey happy, and the original line-up enjoying being a band! Thanks for posting it!
No they didn't except she did write the song "Thrown Down" which was eventually released on the Say You Will album. That song is about Lindsay and her during this time period.
It was Fall 1977 and I remember driving at night following a full moon down the highway. I was listening to Rumors on cassette tape and it sounded awesome! I truly believe the 1950s through part of the 80s was the absolute best time for music. Fleetwood directly influenced my life from '75-'79
Christine You Left The Most Beautiful Humble Loving Legacy !! Love You And Your Beautiful Heartfelt Positive Loving Love Songs Ever Beautiful Sweet Songbird Christine Anne Perfekt McVie !! Forever Christine McVie Never Ever Forgotten !! God Bless 🍀🌼🏵️💐🌷🌺🌸💚🩵💙💛❤️🙏🙏🇩🇪🇺🇸💚🩵💙💛❤️
Seeing Lindsey gush over Stevie throughout the interview is cute. 19:58 Stevie blushes and touches her hair as something about 2-part harmonies perhaps had a 2nd meaning. She can't look at him there as there would be a huge smile and she wants to be more discrete.

The song Christine sang "Songbird" my husband and I played when she passed away was so tearful. What a beautiful song. Rip beautiful lady
I bought “Rumors” right before leaving on a cross-country move, along with “Even in the quietest moments” by Supertramp. Having never heard either album before,!I played both cassettes back to back to back for around 2500 miles, then saw both tours a short time after getting situated. Oh, to be young again....
The Dance was one of their best albums for so many reasons. And look at Lindsey. He can’t keep his hands off of Stevie. It’s sad that things became contentious again for whatever reason, and Christine passed.
The interviewer is trying to go back to the past Fleetwood Mac, but the band shows that it truly is about the music. love you Fleetwood Mac, always have, always will.
Worked their show as an IATSE hand at the Pittsburgh Civic Arena on the Tusk tour. I think I was 20 or 21. Got to watch the show from the stage left side but out in the seats where they had a section roped off for employees. Very good show. That is the only time I had seen them a nd that was around the height I believe. Loved Rumors, that is an awesome album, CD or what ever format these days.
Siempre los admire han sobrevivido a todos los excesos hasta el amor, fue una banda icónica y todos lograron sobrevivir a esas épocas, ya bastante grandes todos la pueden contar, Christine se ha ido hace poco pero vivió como quiso ❤
Funny I've heard of them forever but can only name maybe 3 of their songs its 2024 and just watched part of a concert they did thinking it was NEW it was from 1997 but I KNOW this Stevie is Beautiful and Sexy.❤❤❤

I have done some internet research on this in the past, because I was also curious. And as far as I can tell, they were very good friends. They shared the spotlight graciously. 😊
That's why I think this band is so great. Yes, they had relationship issues during the rumours era, but as far as ego goes, it seems like they don't really have big egos. The result is, they create awesome music.
it's a shame the album got autotuned. they sound absolutely fantastic here. my guess is it was warner music who decided to use it simply because it was new technology
I think they were. Hard thing to do. Way too much baggage. Thank goodness for the recording studio, guys. They take the rough edges out. I married a musician . My family are all musicians. My sons play all the instruments . Runs in the family. Studio recording is somewhat of another art of its own. Very interesting .

Probably because it was posted about 13 years ago on UA-cam. Plenty of comments there. ua-cam.com/video/iGBji-8-3jo/v-deo.htmlsi=2obJzBA9nmVZxyQr
I didn't know Lindsey and Stevie got romantically involved again???😮
I have a crush on LB.
They didn't.

I love them. All of them. As musicians, and as people.
YEEES..! ME TOO
They were a special group, unlike any other. Thank you for posting this.
Great interview. RIP Christine ❤
I had the album “Rumors” In the 70’s . I never did get to see them in concert . I would love to see them in concert now . Their music is ageless.
I miss Chris, she is still iconic
They are the best ... having grown up in the 70listening to them
The way Lindsey leans in to Stevie...still so much love even then ❤
Mick was always the glue in the band

I'm so sorry that we find ourselves today - 2024 - and we lost Christine and Steve & Lindsey are no longer speaking.
Sadly, I think Stevie and Lindsay are going to take that bitterness to their graves.
The Dance was one of their best albums for so many reasons. And look at Lindsey. He can’t keep his hands off of Stevie. It’s sad that things became contentious again for whatever reason, and Christine passed.
❤I love Fleetwood Mac!❤
Yo también los amo amiga Teresa. Saludos

No Speed Limit This Is The Fast Lane..Thankfully They Slowed Down A Few Seconds In Time.
Respect's chains keeps them together. Like Christine McVie's songbird, grateful days. (from Jujuy,Argentina)

It’s all about Future Games and Kilnhouse
Good Fleetwood Mac reunited for our President!
Los amo❤
John is like, what the hell? lol
ha!
they all look like their dogs just died and they would rather be anywhere than together
Although it does not show but I’ve always wondered if there’s ever tension between Christine Mcvie and Stevie Nicks.
No , they were like Sisters from the start
I have done some internet research on this in the past, because I was also curious. And as far as I can tell, they were very good friends. They shared the spotlight graciously. 😊

Me da la impresion que el hambiente era muy tenso.
🏴+🇺🇸 band
They don’t seem too enthusiastic.
It was a practice, not a performance..
interviewer makes it all seem so stiff, stressed, square
Linsey just looks bloated and wrong
Yea ok, Hercules
@@georgerichardson7728🤣🤣🤣
Looks like you know something about looking bloated and wrong there, gramps.
YOU look bloated..!
They look miserable
