I can’t believe no one has commented on this video. This is a great video showing FM in a more light-hearted, relaxing atmosphere. Absolutely love it, and it’s really much needed considering all their drama. This was the time when Lindsey and Stevie were getting more romantically involved again, before he and then GF, announced their pregnancy. Loved seeing Lindsey happy, and the original line-up enjoying being a band! Thanks for posting it!
No they didn't except she did write the song "Thrown Down" which was eventually released on the Say You Will album. That song is about Lindsay and her during this time period.
This was amazing in its entirety. Learned more than I ever assumed about the timeless band. Bottomless, thanks for sharing this video. Sleep peacefully, sweet Christine.
This is my favourite band of all time. Every single person shares the spotlight. I could go on and on about how great they are, but you already know. It is so said that Christine has passed away, and that is the end of a beautiful Fleetwood Mac story. There will never be anyone like them. ❤ As far as this particular interview goes, it’s really nice to meet them behind the scenes. They are real people who are super talented and make beautiful music together.

In 1989, I worked for a musical instrument import co and we had a booth at the NAMM show in Anaheim. As I was helping set up, I saw Mick at a booth across the way. I think he was there as a guest since he stayed there quite awhile. On my break, I nervously approached him for a photo and he was extremely polite and a really nice guy. I think he's the heart of Fleewood Mac, he's the glue.
Nice story, that was always my impression of him- basically a nice guy who, along with John McVie, paid his dues for years with Fleetwood Mac before they achieved great success.
I bought “Rumors” right before leaving on a cross-country move, along with “Even in the quietest moments” by Supertramp. Having never heard either album before,!I played both cassettes back to back to back for around 2500 miles, then saw both tours a short time after getting situated. Oh, to be young again....
Thanks for posting! They all seem not super happy about doing an interview in a hot studio but enjoy the genuine playfulness between them (ie Christine saying “oh shut up Mick” or Lindsey poking Stevie to get her attention). Everyone is so cynical - just enjoy it for what it was in the moment.

The song Christine sang "Songbird" my husband and I played when she passed away was so tearful. What a beautiful song. Rip beautiful lady
Not really. They hate one another and have since 1977. Thinking that there is love between them because of how they behave for fans is naive. Buckingham is an abusive monster.
@@SevenOf9-Seven Nonsense. They got back together during this tour. They weren’t acting for the fans in this interview. Their relationship has always been up and down.
Julien’s Auctions in L.A. just held a two day auction of many of Christine's belongings from her home and musical career. There was so much interest, the prices were too high for me to bid on the music related items. I did manage to win a crystal bowl with "Christine McVie" etched on it that she kept in her home. It's so terribly sad we keep losing so many wonderful artists that we all enjoyed so much throughout our lives.
Soon as I heard Micks drum opening goosebumps. Even for a practice run, amazing. I loved these guys so much. It was so sad about Christine. She always had a beautiful voice and wrote beautiful music. But so did they all. Not another like them. Id sure like to see something from them again, but probably never going to happen.
Seeing Lindsey gush over Stevie throughout the interview is cute. 19:58 Stevie blushes and touches her hair as something about 2-part harmonies perhaps had a 2nd meaning. She can't look at him there as there would be a huge smile and she wants to be more discrete.
I think he keeps reaching out for her. Touching her. Kissing her. Even his right hand beside her keeps twitching & moving while his left hand doesn't. In my humble opinion I think she may always love him to a degree but he never fell out of love with her😓

I did win a crystal bowl with "Christine McVie" etched on it that she kept in her London home. Btw, seeing Lindsey and Stevie getting along so nice here, it's hard to believe how bad everything ended. Lindsey's forced exit and Christine's passing were a terrible way for such an amazing band to end.

Worked their show as an IATSE hand at the Pittsburgh Civic Arena on the Tusk tour. I think I was 20 or 21. Got to watch the show from the stage left side but out in the seats where they had a section roped off for employees. Very good show. That is the only time I had seen them a nd that was around the height I believe. Loved Rumors, that is an awesome album, CD or what ever format these days.
The Dance was one of their best albums for so many reasons. And look at Lindsey. He can’t keep his hands off of Stevie. It’s sad that things became contentious again for whatever reason, and Christine passed.
The way Lindsey cant stop getting closer and closer to Stevie. Looking at her and just admiring her. There was so much chemisty but their egos and drugs got in the way.
35:17 Christine was about to go down memory lane at the very end when she mentioned remembering the recording of The Farmer’s Daughter, but they called the interview over and jolted her out of it. Too bad, would like to have heard her reminisce.
