Every time I hear Stevie sing/scream
“Time casts a spell on you, but you won’t forget me, I knew I could of loved you but you wouldn’t let me, I’ll follow you down till the sound of my voice will haunt you, Give me just the chance, You’ll never get away from the sounds of the woman that loves you” at Lyndsey Buckingham I get goose bumps, the lyrics, passion, meaning behind the song is so powerful. My go to watch on You Tube. If they ever start charging per view I will go broke. Thank you Stevie Nicks. You are priceless

I read through the comments below. I can see how some think that she comes off with an attitude. But I think they are misreading Stevie and what she's trying to say. I don't think Stevie is attempting to impress or trying to be condescending about anything. I think she's just speaking from her heart and saying "Hey, this is what my life has been about." She might be presenting it in a way that puts some people off, but again, I don't think she's being pretentious. I think she's being honest. She understands what fame can do to a person more then most of us ever will. She's lived it and come out the other end a survivor. It has obviously influenced and affected everything she's done and the way she thinks. I think that would be true of anyone who has had her kind of success. I think Stevie's as beautiful as she's ever been, and I'm grateful for her honesty and bluntness. I'm also grateful for her music.

Well said. I'm actually surprised people have taken time out of their day to watch/leave comments on something they clearly hate, but that's the internet for ya. They just don't get the Stevie lingo I guess.

+Dan Witter Exactly! People don't have any reverence/respect for our musical predecessors. Stevie is a true artist, a brilliant song writer, and has the voice of an angel. She's a game changer! She's what's missing in music right now. She contributed so much to the catalog of rock and popular music! She has a right to be proud of her accomplishments . I also think that because she's a woman, people are put off by her pride. I say LONG LIVE STEVIE NICKS! One of the greatest of all time!

I didn't realize people had such a negative view of Stevie until I went on a Fleetwood Mac forum about a month ago. That makes me sad. She's a confident woman, but I don't think she's condescending at all. I think she's direct and no bullshit. But from what I've heard about her, she has a ridiculously big heart and cares a lot for other people.

She is still a child of the 60’s at heart so that sounds about right . This validates that she is real and aging the way she feels comfortable. On stage is a different story.. She knows what her audience expects . They want the magical, beauty of old and she has to deliver that. And thankfully she has great skin . It is her biggest asset now because wrinkly skin ages your look big time . This attitude is confidence , maturity and appreciation for the perks of being a wealthy megastar . She earned every bit of it . What i admire is her is commitment to her art throughout her career and ability to continue to perform and wow audiences at her age . She is still rocking w grace and elegance . She is still a charismatic beauty on stage and so she is doing her job as Stevie Nicks

@jlalewicz Yep- They also have tons of money for the best products, plastic surgery, etc... - whatever they want so in a way she hasn't aged like the rest of . People, they are not superhuman! I feel like I understand this a bit as a woman already showing signs of real aging in my fifties. I will say this...Nicks was a pretty natural gorgeous girl in her day. Try to find a bad picture of her. Unlike some of the fakes today like say..Lady Gaga (in her twenties & thirties and already wearing wigs, has had her nose fixed, possibly by contouring, even though earlier on said she wouldn't, spray tans, etc.. Gaga does have a great voice and amazing musical talent but wow has she gone through a beauty transformation- from a pretty girl to now gorgeous. Images can be created to an extent.

Almost every comment is the same as the last one and they all are just repeating the obvious. Wig or no wig makeup or no makeup sunglasses are no sunglasses she's a beautiful woman and to be jealous it's just a really ugly look we have to lift each other up as women instead of putting each other down or making excuses of why someone looks good I'm sure that would be a major turnoff to any man but I'm just guessing

  • @karenmoody1879

Break on through to the other side!! On a steal horse I ride!!! They say I’m wanted dead or alive!! So I’m hidden in plane sight!! The magic man has been in the shadows!! Pulling rabbits out of Hats! Hats off to that!! Momma has her magic hat and I can’t wait to see what is under that!!?? Sorry for getting a little big for my britches!! I am a poet at heart! And I like to share my words because it’s important to not hold gifts like this in! Better for my mental health to get it out and release it!! Maybe it will make a difference we all need to see! We both have lived our lives with Stevie getting us through the good and the bad times. We both love and respect the woman she was and is. I think those of us who went through many of the same things, maybe not to the extent that Stevie did because we didn't have that kind of money, but I think that along with all of that and the love and the heartbreak, she really did get us through our lives through each one of her songs there is a verse that you can hang onto and feel it and it saves you or it empowers you. AND, we both wish we could shop in her closet! Who doesn't?! God, I adore this woman!

What's up with all the comments about her being stuck up? I find her very funny and engaging. She's just being honest about this stuff--she's been a household name for what? 40 years? She certainly has every right to be stuck up. I just don't see it, though. Can't anyone tell the difference between this and "having an attitude"? She's certainly not a burned out rock star. She's a bright woman and sounds like she's super detail-oriented and organized.

People expect the famous to be so grateful & false that if anybody dares to just be themselves & talk without the false modesty crap that they think this isnt on. Stevie & Lindsay paid their dues they were broke & couldnt pay rent but still kept music going.Stevie has known heartbreak & breakdowns. She needs no excuses & the people who judge are generally just jealous of their success. You dont need to love the person if you love the music, just enjoy her songwriting & the music, dont watch her interviews.

I would give ANYTHING to hear her perform Bella Donna and Wild Heart today. Especially just her playing the piano and singing. I thought this was a great interview. The interviewer was awkward but he had a lot of great questions that I found very interesting. Everyone always asks her the same things: the drugs, lindsey, etc. Thank you for this great upload. And in what ways exactly was she a bitch? She didn't bad mouth ANYONE. She didnt call lindsey any names she just said she didn't like working with him. She actually had some very NICE things to say about him. She didnt bad mouth Heart, she just said she had wished they would've left her out of the book. She was being HONEST and telling things like they are, which is what she's ALWAYS done. That does not make her a bitch or selfish. She's clearly a very kind woman with a very strong personality.

Stevie talks about EVERYONE yet she was a complete bitch about Ann and Nancy writing a paragraph about her in their book. Seems pretty hypocritical to me. After hearing her comments I went to read what the fuss was all about and it's literally a paragraph that mentions them hanging out and trying on all Stevie's shawls in her closet and that they all did a lot of cocaine, albeit not as much as Stevie. The topic was about their drug use, and the point was basically making fun of themselves by saying they were lightweights when it came to drugs. It wasn't ugly, nasty, or anything that was personal. I've heard Stevie say much more personal and insulting things about people, so she is obviously very thin-skinned.
